Chapter 370: Fainted

Jiang Shu did not expect to see Xu Ming again under such circumstances.

Wearing white clothes, he looked as professional and gentle as ever. When he saw her waking up, he gently pressed on her stomach and asked, "Does it still hurt here?"

Jiang Shu felt embarrassed when he saw it was him. He raised his arms to cover his eyes. It was pitch black and his voice was low, "A little."

Xu Ming's expression was sluggish, and he looked at the man waiting outside the ward. Fu Shiyan's eyes were dark and deep, and it was difficult to see clearly what he was thinking.

Xu Ming whispered: "You fainted because you were too tired. You are weak. You should pay attention to your health in the future. The reason why you vomited is because you haven't eaten regularly recently. I will prescribe you medicine, have a good rest, and pay attention to a light diet."

When Xu Ming turned to leave, Jiang Shu grabbed the corner of his clothes and said, "Brother Ming, when can I leave here?"

An IV drip was still running on her wrist.

"Inject another bottle of nutrient solution." He adjusted the drip speed for her and asked, "What's wrong? Did something happen?"

Jiang Shu smiled bitterly and nodded as acquiescence, "Since you checked my body for me, you should be able to guess a lot of things."

The wound on her waist and abdomen left a scar, which has not healed completely.

She deliberately did not use the ointment given by Lao Sun because of this scar. She wanted to remember this shame.

Xu Ming pursed his lips, and just then he saw Fu Shiyan hurried in with the fainted woman in his arms. His eyes were dark and scary, and his heart inevitably skipped a beat.

He untied Jiang Shu's clothes and saw bruises and hickeys in some places, as well as scars on his waist and abdomen, and he guessed it.

Fu Shiyan's voice sounded above his head, "Xu Ming, you are her friend, can I trust you, right?"

Xu Ming swallowed his bitterness and just sighed.

Zhou Liangqi and Xu Xiaolin also followed. If he hadn't seen Fu Shiyan hugging Jiang Shu with such anxious expressions, Zhou Liangqi would never have imagined that it was the same person who was ruthlessly attacking the market.

"Let's go." Zhou Liangqi squeezed the woman's soft little hand, his eyes were far away, "Let them resolve their own matters, okay?"

Xu Xiaolin's eyes were amber, like a cat's, "Okay."

"Do we have to work overtime at night? Father wants us to go home for dinner."

She held Zhou Liangqi with both hands, and when she noticed that he was showing indifference again, her eyes became a little bit pleading.

The man's smile did not reach his eyes and he stroked her long chestnut hair, "Okay, I'll take you back first."

"Then I'll wait for you at home, and then we'll go there together in the evening."

Zhou Liangqi accepted this arrangement dotingly, "Don't be too tired and have a good rest."

Jiang Shu slept for a while and didn't hear any sound for a long time. He thought everyone was gone. He finally took his stiff arms away from his eyes and opened his eyes slightly. Unexpectedly, he saw a frosty man standing beside the hospital bed.

Shen looked at her.

Jiang Shu looked frightened, but his expression quickly returned to indifference.

Fu Shiyan seemed to have guessed her thoughts and said calmly: "It was you who kept holding on to the corner of my clothes and wouldn't let me go."

Jiang Shu was stunned, seeing that his expression didn't change, it didn't look like he was lying.

"Thank you." Her expression did not change, "You are not needed here now."

Fu Shiyan raised his eyebrows slightly: "To kill the donkey? Is this how you treat your savior?"

Jiang Shu was irritated. She hated him speaking in such a sarcastic tone. Besides, what was a savior? If it hadn't been for him, she might not have fainted.

She simply rolled over and got out of bed, pulled out the needle, and walked away on her own if he didn't.

Jiang Shu had just taken two steps when he realized that the needle had been pulled out violently, and a stream of blood spurted out, covering his hands.

She was startled by the blood. The man stepped forward in two steps and took her to the bathroom to clean herself. Then he rang the bell to let Xu Ming in.

Jiang Shu struggled impatiently, "Let me go."

He pushed her hard onto the bed and sat down, showing his hidden anger: "Move again!"
