The monk was confused for a moment, but seeing Jiang Shu's determined expression, he turned around and went in to communicate.
After a moment, he walked out and said, "Please follow me."
Jiang Shu followed immediately, and the monk led her through a nine-curved corridor, entered a tower, climbed up the stairs, and opened the door. A thin woman with a thin back was kneeling on a futon, with a tall Buddha statue in front of her.
Jiang Shu and the monk nodded in greeting, and the latter left immediately.
She walked forward and knelt beside Jiang Lingyu, "I came to Jiangcheng on a business trip today. I heard that the temple here is very spiritual, so I came here to kneel down and worship. Auntie won't be surprised." ωωw..net
Jiang Lingyu closed her eyes and kept her hands clasped together.
"Buddha is used to seeing all kinds of living beings. If he is not sincere, he will be surprised."
Jiang Shu picked up three sticks of fine incense and lit it close to the fire. "I heard that before Wen Shu returned home, Auntie came here before, so she comes here again every quarter to fulfill her wish."
Jiang Lingyu still closed her eyes and turned the beads in her hand.
"What I ask for must be sincere."
Jiang Shu raised the incense above her eyebrows and bowed devoutly three times before inserting it into the ashes. She didn't believe in Buddhism before, but she was taught these things by Jiang Lingyu in Nanshan Temple.
"My father is missing. You said that whether it was because he was abducted or lost, there should be signs. But he just disappeared out of thin air, and several forces could not find him. I had no choice but to come and worship."
Jiang Shu knelt beside Jiang Lingyu, his eyes clear.
After a while, Jiang Lingyu stopped turning the beads and opened her eyes, "This is a disaster. It is useless to ask for help, and it may not be useful to ask for help from Buddha."
"Then what should I do?" Jiang Shu answered quickly and turned to look at her, "Didn't Wen Shu find it after you came here? I'll try my luck."
Jiang Lingyu also looked at her, "Before this, I had been fasting and chanting Buddha's name for more than ten years, but without any results."
Jiang Shu paused slightly. She actually thought it was quite strange. Jiang Lingyu seemed to believe in Buddhism, but she didn't seem to be firm enough in this belief.
She said word by word: "Yes, after more than ten years of fasting and chanting Buddha's name, I suddenly found it. Auntie, doesn't it feel strange?"
Jiang Lingyu looked at her for a while, her expression always calm. Then she stood up, found a Buddhist scripture, and knelt down again, "I always believe that people are blessed."
"Blessing." Jiang Shu thought of what the Wen family had done and chuckled, "Maybe, but there are too many orphans without identity in this world, and I am one of them."
Jiang Lingyu stopped flipping the scriptures and said, "You are not..."
"I was adopted." Jiang Shu understood what she wanted to ask.
She stood up and said, "I don't mean anything else, Auntie, we got along briefly, and that time has always been in my heart. I think I should remind you that sometimes, what you see with your eyes is not necessarily the truth."
"What if someone designs it?"
After Jiang Shu finished speaking, he clasped his hands in front of the Buddha statue and turned around.
"What's the plan?" A crisp voice suddenly came from outside the door. Someone opened the door and came face to face with Jiang Shu.
The latter's whole body was stiff. She didn't expect to see Wensu here. She actually followed Jiang Lingyu.
Wensu has a slim figure and is wearing a Zen-like light pink dress, which fits the atmosphere of the temple very well.
She held two cups of tea in her hand and saw Jiang Shu smiling slightly, "Miss Jiang, are you looking for my mother?"
Jiang Shu's back felt cold, as if a poisonous snake was crawling slowly.
