Chapter 29 Shirley, why are you here?

A funeral lasted for three days before it came to an end.

It is said to be a funeral, but in fact it is more like a gathering of old friends. For an elderly wizard, after this farewell, they may never see each other again.

In other words, the next time we meet again, it will probably be at our own funeral.

However, they are not taboo about this. There are also wizards who are betting on who will die first. The later they die, the more they lose.

Perhaps because everyone was so old, death to them was like finally going to bed after a long day.

As a young man, Luo Fe was only in his early thirties in his previous life, so naturally he could not understand this kind of mentality of being indifferent to life and death.

After the funeral, Rolf stayed at the manor for two days before bidding farewell to Newt and leaving.

When he arrived, he had Scrimgeour's door key, and when he returned, Rolf rode Maxim's French Ocean horse.

Literally French Ocean Horse...Maxim came to attend the funeral, riding in a carriage as big as a house, and the carriage was pulled by a rune horse.

Talisman horses, like Thestrals, are Pegasus, but they are huge and fast. They are more durable than Thestrals and are very suitable for long-distance raids.

The carriage took only one day and one night to travel from England to Romania, which was ten times faster than the Orient Express and more than ten Hogwarts trains!

When getting off the carriage, Roff said goodbye: "Goodbye, Madame Maxime."

"Goodbye, Rolf, when you pass through France, you must visit Beauxbatons... I will introduce outstanding students to you." Madame Maxime smiled.

"I will definitely go." Luo Fei waved his hand.

After the carriage left, Rolf and Newt walked into the village. It was getting dark. They passed by a shop and had dinner.

The proprietress, Till, is a middle-aged witch. She waves her magic wand, and the ingredients automatically jump from the shelf into the pot. After wandering around in a circle, the steaming, fragrant food falls onto the plate, and then flies to the table.

Luofu picked up a generous piece of cheese toast and bit into it. The taste was still familiar to the landlady.

Taking advantage of the gap, Till came over and said hello to Newt, then sat on a chair and stared at Rolf with strange eyes.

After a while, he said:

"Rolf, I have watched you grow up. I always thought you were a good boy... I didn't expect you to be such a person behind your back."

"Ah, what's wrong with me?" Luofu looked stunned. He thought for a while, he didn't escape the bill, nor did he peek into Tier's bath.

"What's wrong with you?!" Tier said:

"I heard from Catherine that you had a girlfriend at Hogwarts, but you abandoned her and played with her feelings... At your age, you are already a scumbag?!"

Luo Fe almost choked on the mouthful of dough he was swallowing. He coughed a few times, took a sip of water to calm down and said:

"Aunt Till, we can drink the potion randomly, but we can't talk nonsense...anything goes wrong, Catherine will spread rumors."

"Rumors? I'm not blind!" Tier rolled his eyes and said:

"This little girl traveled all the way from England to the village by car, looking for you by name...Catherine asked her to stay in the guest room of the bar, but the little girl refused to live or die, so she had to wait for you in front of your house..."

"How could you do such a thing?"

"Grandpa, you eat first, I'll go home!" Luofu seemed to have remembered something, he got up and ran away.

Newt looked confused, it couldn't be true.

At Luo Fu's age, he was not so bold. He would blush all afternoon if he said anything to a female classmate.

His favorite thing to do every day at that time was to squat in the corner of the castle and watch the ants move... He could squat all afternoon.

This grandson of mine is really... amazing!

Luofu ran along the mountain road and ran to the lake. He saw a familiar figure in the distance, a slender and graceful girl, sitting on the steps at the door of the house.

The girl held her chin with her hands, as if she was sleeping. Her slender red ponytail was like a tender willow in the spring breeze, swaying slightly in the wind.

After Shirley heard the footsteps, she suddenly opened her eyes, picked up the wand, raised her head, and saw Rolf not far away.

The girl didn't speak, she just frowned her beautiful face.

Luofu walked towards Shirley. When he walked in front of her, he gently raised one hand, bent his fingers, and lightly tapped a chestnut on the girl's head and said:

"Why are you sitting here, not listening to Catherine, living in her shop?"

"That's a bar...it doesn't look like a good place!" Shirley moved her head away, her face wrinkled and she said aggrievedly:

"Catherine doesn't look like a good person. She has been asking about who I am and what my relationship is to you."

"Haha, Catherine is indeed not a good person. She also spreads rumors about me everywhere." Rolf grinned, showing his white teeth.

"You're still smiling!" Shirley bit her lip, lowered her head, and said sadly:

"You said that if you can't stay in the monastery any longer, you can come to the Romanian Reserve to find you. I'm here...but you're not at home."

"It's my fault." Rove quickly apologized: "I went back to England these days to attend Nicol Flamel's funeral. I'm really sorry."

Shirley stood up and asked in surprise: "Nicola Flamel passed away?"

"Not yet...it's just a funeral." Luofu took out the key from his pocket, opened the door, looked at the dusty girl and said:

"Are you hungry? I'll cook for you!"

Shirley held the box, was silent for a moment, and nodded vigorously.

in the kitchen,

Luo Fu cooked a pot of noodles and put them in two bowls. He added two eggs to each bowl of noodles and put them on the table.

The girl wolfed it down.

"It's a bit hot. Eat it slowly."

Luo Fu also started eating noodles. He sucked a strong noodle into his mouth and asked vaguely: "Shirley, how did you get here?"

"Take the Orient Express..."

Luofu asked: "Did anything happen on the road?"

"No." Shirley shook her head.

Luofu frowned, why would something happen to him every time he took the Orient Express?

When the two of them were halfway through eating, Newt came back. He carried a bunch of food, put it on the table and said, "I brought it for you."

"Hello, Mr. Scamander!" Shirley stood up quickly.

"Grandpa, her name is Shirley. I told you about mine before." Luo Fu explained: "I will tell you the details later."

"Yeah." Newt nodded and said, "I'll go and clean up the room first."

After Newt left, Shirley sat on the chair with relief, her palms covered with sweat.

"Why are you nervous? My grandfather has a very good temper." Luofu said with a smile, "You can live here with peace of mind."

The girl hummed softly and finished the last bit of noodles in the bowl.

"Are you full?" Rolf asked.

"I'm full!" Shirley smiled.

"Already full? The leftovers in the pot...have to be thrown away." The young man said with some regret.

The girl blushed, blinked her eyes, and whispered:

"How about you have another bowl? I'll have another bowl too."

Rolf grinned.
