Chapter 40 The self-destructing truck Ron Weasley

Modifying a Muggle car and using it for flying...is that a serious matter?

Of course, because this behavior is "misuse of Muggle items", it violates the laws of the Ministry of Magic.

What is the misuse of Muggle objects?

Applying magic to and using things made by Muggles falls into the category of abuse.

Since Arthur Weasley himself is the director of the Office for the Prohibition of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts, he commits an offense with knowledge of the law and is punished with an additional one.

Therefore, Ron secretly drove away the car and used the flying function, which is undoubtedly a typical example of cheating!

However, Ron, the "self-destructing truck", has not yet realized the seriousness of the problem.

He was sitting on the flying car, enjoying the scenery leisurely with Harry, and imagining the scene of Fred and George looking jealous when they arrived at Hogwarts.

In the carriage, Ginny had written a letter to her father with a pale face, so that he could be mentally prepared.

As long as he's not the last one to know about it!

While Ginny was writing the letter, Luna pulled her head out of "The Quibbler", looked at the blond boy in front of her, and said in a daze:

"Rolf, did you enjoy your summer vacation?"

"Well, it's pretty good." Luof looked at Luna. The wreath made of wicker was skewed on the girl's long golden hair. If you ignore the unfocused pupils, the little girl looked quite normal.

"This is Luna Lovegood. I met her on the Orient Express during the summer vacation." Rove quickly introduced Shirley and the others.

"Have you read the recent issues of "The Quibbler"?" Luna tilted her head and said seriously:

"My father wrote an article about what happened on the Orient Express and revealed it to the public...the truth that was deliberately hidden by the Ministry of Magic."

"I haven't read it yet." Rove expressed doubts about whether Lovegood would report truthfully. He quickly changed the subject and said:

"Did you and your dad find Bubblesnot in Romania?"

"No, my father is busy writing articles and has no time to take me to find it." Luna held the wreath on her head and said with wide eyes:

"I read Rita Skeeter's article about you, and my dad said it was all nonsense, and that the Daily Prophet was a second-rate newspaper... far less realistic than The Quibbler."

"..."

Rove really doesn’t know where to complain. How can a magazine that tells a story be realistic?

"What are you talking about?" Hermione asked curiously: "What about the Orient Express? What about the truth hidden by the Ministry of Magic?"

"There was a murder on the Orient Express. Rolf saved the entire train from Death Eaters, but the Ministry of Magic tried to cover up the truth." Luna explained.

Rolf, who was drinking water, almost squirted out... When did he save the entire train of wizards?

"It's not that exaggerated." Rove said quickly: "It was just the Aurors transporting the prisoners to Romania. Something went wrong and a dark wizard kidnapped the prisoners. I helped a little."

"It's not a small favor!" Luna looked a little excited and said loudly: "You caught those criminals and saved me..."

Everyone turned their attention from Luna to Rove again, and he could only briefly talk about what happened on the Orient Express.

"You haven't even mentioned such a big thing." Hermione frowned.

Neville looked at Rolf with admiration.

"Scrimgeour told me not to talk nonsense." Rolf threw the blame to the Auror Director.

"So, The Quibbler is dedicated to uncovering hidden truths."

Luna put the magazine she had brought with her into Rolf's hand, hung the wreath on his head, and sang in a singing voice:

"Extraordinary intelligence is a wizard's greatest asset!"

Then, the girl followed Ginny and walked lightly.

"..."

Rolf took off the wreath and sighed. Lovegood was also a wonderful person who could teach such a weird daughter.

It was late at night when the Hogwarts Express arrived at Hogsmeade Station.

After Luo Fu got off the bus, he found that it was raining again. Although it was not heavy, it made the cold air in the mountains and forests much thicker. Even the platform was covered with a layer of ice.

"First-year students come here!" A familiar voice sounded.

Hagrid's burly figure walked towards the panicked first-year students, holding a small pink umbrella.

Sure enough, only macho men would wear this color scheme.

The four of them, Rolf, said hello to Hagrid, and then followed the other students onto a muddy road.

The drizzle continued to fall, and there was nowhere to hide. Luofu snapped his fingers, and the rain stopped falling on the heads of several people.

The horse-shaped water monster's magic "water flow control" is really useful. He can easily make the rain fall to both sides.

Shirley and the others were used to seeing all kinds of magical magic from Luo Fu, so they were not surprised by it, or in other words, they were numb.

At the end of the road, there were at least a hundred carriages waiting for students.

Those carriages were neither big nor small, and each carriage could accommodate four students. The four corners were like cornices, and there were bells hanging from them.

"Are these cars driven by magic?" Shirley asked curiously.

She looked around and saw no horse pulling the cart.

"It was pulled by the Thestral." Rolf stood in front of a strange-looking magical creature.

It was as skinny as a stick, with no meat at all on its body. The black fur was tightly attached to the skeleton, and every bone was clearly visible. It also had big, black leathery wings.

"The Thestral is a type of Pegasus that can fly at high speeds in the air. Only people who have experienced death can see it." Hermione, a know-it-all, explained softly.

"That's right." Luofu nodded lightly and looked at the Thestral. There was a sudden "ding" in his brain.

[A domestic Thestral is detected, triggering a side mission]

100% tame the Thestral, reward:

【Death Coil】

[Magical creatures that can sense their imminent death (mission not completed)]

Several people got on the carriage, and the Thestral galloped across the water with its bells ringing. They quickly passed through a pair of magnificent cast iron gates, with many stone pillars on both sides and a winged wild boar on the top.

The carriage increased its speed on the long sloping driveway, drove all the way to the front of the castle, and finally staggered to a stop.

All the students got off the bus, and they suddenly looked up at the sky with horrified expressions.

I saw a rumbling car that looked like it was about to explode. Sparks and lightning streaked all the way as it scraped past the wall, flew over the greenhouse, and hit the ground.

Soon, the loud noise of the collision between the car and the Whomping Willow resounded over Hogwarts.

Everyone was stunned in place.

The door suddenly opened, and a wizard with greasy hair, a hooked nose, and sallow skin walked out.

Professor Snape looked towards the direction of the Whomping Willow. He looked excited, as if he had never been so happy!
