Chapter 47: King of Thunder and Lightning

Black clouds, strong winds and heavy rain enveloped the entire land, and there were streaks of lightning in the sky, accompanied by rumbling thunder, piercing the hazy night.

The beasts raised by the tribe began to howl one after another, the sound getting louder and louder, and finally it became a harmony and made a huge noise.

Then, a sharp sound passed through the night... not the howl of an animal, but the hunting horn of a native North American, signaling the approaching danger.

All the sleeping Indians walked out of their rooms and gathered towards the Pyramid Square.

Lightning tore through the sky again, and for a moment, the night became as bright as day. Everyone could clearly see the thunderbird in the sky, and...

Two wizards on the backs of birds!

Under the orders of the two wizards, lightning struck the altar at the top of the pyramid, and rubble continued to fall from the rock wall.

"Damn it, it's these guys again!"

"Get out of here, stranger!"

"You are not welcome here!

"

"Grass mud horse!

"

The Indians yelled into the air, and the air was filled with all kinds of blaring curses and insults.

The wizards riding on the back of the Thunderbird remained calm, not because they had a good attitude, but because... they didn't understand.

The crowd also flew out stone spears and shot at the Thunderbird. More stone spears followed, but before they could get close, they were shot down by lightning.

Dana looked around anxiously, an arm was put on her shoulder, the girl turned her head and looked around, took a breath and said:

"Rolf, just be fine! Why are you alone, and where is Margaery?"

"She... has something to do." Rolf looked up at the Thunderbird and the wizard riding on the Thunderbird. Although he already had a guess in his mind, he still asked:

"Who are they? What are they doing?"

"We don't know these attackers either." Dana explained with a pale face:

"They came to our tribe half a year ago and asked us for... Quetzalcoatl's eggs."

"The clan leader rejected them, so they brought the thunderbirds to attack us. After being repulsed, they didn't show up for a long time. Unexpectedly, they came again today."

Luofu nodded slightly. It seemed that the creeper, the mole, was cooperating with the two of them to steal the Quetzalcoatl egg stored on the altar at the top of the pyramid.

"Do you really have Quetzalcoatl's eggs?" Luo Fu looked curious.

Dana hesitated for a moment, then sighed and whispered: "Our tribe has been worshiping that egg for centuries, but it is just a fossil...a dead egg."

"Is it just a fossil?" Luo Fe was a little disappointed, he thought it could really hatch.

You know... Quetzalcoatl is a legendary magical animal that became extinct a long time ago. If it could hatch, it would be no less than Muggles resurrecting the dinosaurs.

But if it is just a fossil, its value will be greatly reduced.

Wait...if it was just a fossil, there would be no need for these two wizards to work so hard to snatch it, right? They also bribed a mole to poison it?

Just then, a man as thin as a bamboo pole walked over. His thick, black beard almost grew from his chin to his waist, making his shoehorned face look even longer.

The man was holding a large wooden bucket in his hand. Dana took a deep breath, took out a knife, and made a cut on her arm. Blood immediately poured out and fell into the bucket.

The tall man ignored Rolfe and walked towards the next tribesman. Soon the blood of all the Indians in the square fell into the barrel.

The man walked towards the patriarch again. He was a thin old man with a wrinkled face and a completely bald head. The various metals on his necklace hung loosely around his throat.

Luofu looked up and saw that the old man suddenly took out an egg from his arms. It was the most beautiful thing the young man had ever seen. The pattern was so rich that he thought the surface was covered with gems.

I saw the old man putting the fossilized egg into the barrel.

Luofu stared directly at the egg, which drank blood thirstily as if it were alive, and quickly dyed dark red under the young man's gaze.

Dana, whose face became increasingly pale, asked worriedly: "I don't know if it's enough?"

Luofu looked at the girl doubtfully.

"All our tribesmen who contribute blood will sacrifice part of their lives to Quetzalcoatl. The more lives it absorbs, the more powerful it will be given to the egg holder." Dana explained in a low voice.

"But many tribesmen are injured and they can't come here to offer sacrifices."

Luo Fu suddenly realized that no wonder the other party wanted to poison him, it turned out to be this trick!

At this time, the wizard in the sky also noticed the egg in the old man's hand... The egg was previously hidden in the pyramid altar, but unexpectedly it had been moved.

They have just been attacking for a long time, but they are all in vain!

Lightning tore through the night sky and struck the old man swiftly.

Rolf quickly raised his wand and shouted: "Armor for protection!"

But his armor spell obviously couldn't stop the power of lightning. The lightning fell on the ground and exploded into pieces, spreading out like a broken water tank.

The old man was struck by lightning, the smell of burnt meat overwhelmed the aroma, and his howl was drowned in the electric current.

Just when Luofu thought the old man had been electrocuted, he did not fall to the ground. Instead, he held the egg in his hand and began to sing in a high-pitched voice.

At this moment, all the Indians' faces turned pale, part of their lives had been sacrificed.

Luofu suddenly heard a crackling sound, and saw a ball of flames spurting out from the egg, drowning the old man, and his singing became louder and sharper.

The flames on the old man's body sometimes circled and sometimes twisted, chasing each other, and soon climbed up along the pyramid.

The air also seemed to be liquefied by the high heat, shining brightly in the night.

The old man raised the Quetzalcoatl's egg high, opened his mouth, and spit out a long tongue of fire, and the flames licked the Thunderbird's belly.

The ptarmigan screamed and was almost cooked.

Luofu stared at the egg intently. It was so powerful... what the hell was this egg?!

Under the old man's attack, the flames rose high, waving their huge and fiery red wings, forcing the thunderbird to retreat step by step.

The two wizards pulled the chain on the Thunderbird and controlled it to hide backwards.

In the square, all the Indians cheered, but the excited shouts... came to an abrupt end.

The old man suddenly fell to the ground.

he died!

As the old man fell to the ground, the Quetzalcoatl's egg also fell to the ground and rolled on the ground.

The cheers turned to screams in an instant, and the square immediately fell into chaos.

Everything happened so fast, everyone was screaming, stumbling and pushing each other, and some burst into tears and rushed to their clan leader.

The Thunderbird also suddenly flew towards the crowd, but its target was the egg of Quetzalcoatl.

In the chaos, Dana, who was standing closest, grabbed the egg.

"Rolf!"

Dana threw it up high, and the egg fell into the boy's hands, and his whole body was quickly wrapped in flames.

So hot,

I really want to...

Running naked.
