Chapter 172 The Secret Room of the Four Giants

Rolf held his wand and tapped along the walls of the corridor, but after searching for a long time, he could not find the partition mentioned by the basilisk.

The young man thought for a moment and suddenly remembered something. He suddenly turned around and walked quickly back to the fireplace that he had already inspected, looking at it carefully.

The fireplace was unremarkable, and there was still a charcoal fire burning in the furnace, but as he stared at the shape of the flame, he vaguely felt that it looked like a snake that was constantly shaking.

The boy looked more and more like it. He waved his wand to extinguish the flames, then moved away the layer of charcoal. Sure enough, he found a small snake-shaped statue.

Rolf used Parseltongue and made a hissing sound. The little snake seemed to come to life, dragging its body and climbing up. The partition was also dragged up, revealing a square hole that could accommodate one person.

He looked around and saw that the hole was deep and dark, seeming to lead directly to the deepest part of the castle.

Luofu snapped his fingers, and a ball of flame fell downwards, but the hole was very deep, and soon only a faint circle of light could be seen at the bottom of the depth.

Since he couldn't see the situation at the bottom of the cave, he had no choice but to walk into the fireplace, jump straight down, and fall into the boundless darkness. The wand lit up, illuminating the dark cracks in the black wall.

After flying for a long time, the young man landed with his feet. He looked around and found that it was a spacious open space like an auditorium. Bonfires were burning between the stone pillars, and the smoke blackened the roof of the cave.

Four passages intersect here, and each road is so deep that there is no end.

Rolf frowned. He didn't expect that before Corvinus modified the pipes in Hogwarts, the path to the Chamber of Secrets would be so complicated.

Just when the young man was hesitant and ready to block a passage, suddenly a breeze blew, as if someone blew a breath, and his sleeves drifted in a certain direction with the wind.

Luofu narrowed his eyes and felt the breeze lingering around him. Without hesitating for too long, he held up the glowing wand and walked along with the wind.

The passage was long and dark, surrounded only by ever-curving stone walls, and the floor beneath his feet seemed to be slowly moving and rolling, trying to trap the young man.

After walking for a long time, the wall finally reached the end, and a wooden door appeared. There was no handle or keyhole on the door, only an eagle-shaped bronze door knocker.

Rolf frowned. This place was exactly the same as the entrance to the Ravenclaw common room. Could it be that there was Ravenclaw Tower behind the door?!

The young man was confused and confused. He was at least a thousand meters deep underground. How could he have come to Ravenclaw Academy?

He knocked on the door tentatively, and his eagle mouth immediately opened, and he asked in a gentle, musical voice:

"You've never seen a crow, but you see a green apple. What happens to the probability that all crows are black?"

Luo Fe thought for a moment and replied: "The probability that all crows will be black will increase."

"Correct answer." After the voice finished speaking, the door opened with a creak.

Rolf stepped into a circular room, only to find that it was not a Ravenclaw lounge, but more like a small...library.

A towering circular bookshelf stood against the wall, with thousands of leather-bound magic books, as well as boxes and boxes of ancient scrolls... stacked up to the ceiling.

In the center of the room is a desk and a chair.

In addition to a closed magic book on the table, there is also a piece of parchment. The ink on the paper has not yet completely dried. Someone must have been writing here before.

Luofu suddenly heard the rushing sound of water. He walked deeper into the room and found a small door next to a pair of sphinx statues. He pushed the door open and entered a cave.

The cave is empty and deep, with stone teeth hanging from the ceiling, making the rocks look jagged and extremely scary.

Not far away, there is a lake as blue and clear as the sky.

In the mist, a graceful witch sat alone on a moss-covered rock next to a deep lake. She was holding an oak comb and gently combing her black hair.

Luofu walked over slowly, and after seeing the witch's appearance clearly, he hurriedly said:

"Sorry...Professor Ravenclaw, I didn't know you were here."

"It's okay, I guided you here." Ravenclaw turned around, stared at Rolf, and asked calmly:

"Who told you that there was an entrance under the fireplace?"

"In our time, that corridor had no fireplace and was converted into a bathroom. There was also a pipe leading to Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets."

Rolf looked at Ravenclaw who was combing his hair and explained:

"I have entered the secret room and took away the basilisk. Naturally, I knew the entrance was nearby, and then I found it...Professor, where is this?"

Ravenclaw stretched out her green fingers and gently touched the cold lake water. The surface of the lake rippled and she said softly:

"You can think of this as... my secret room. I study magic here on weekdays."

"Are the other passages leading to Hufflepuff's and Gryffindor's chambers of secrets respectively?" Rove guessed.

"That's right." Ravenclaw nodded, "The four of us used to meet often to exchange magic experiences."

Rove raised his eyebrows, how come in his time, only Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets remained?

Are the other three rooms closed, or did Corvinus deliberately cover the entrances to the other rooms when he built the duct system?

Ravenclaw said in a light voice: "Do you want to enter Slytherin's secret room again to look for the basilisk he raised?"

"Yes." Luo Fu said honestly: "I want to ask the basilisk some questions to see how it is different from a thousand years later."

"No need to go." Ravenclaw said calmly: "When Salazar left, he took the basilisk with him."

"But... the basilisk told me that Slytherin didn't take it with him when he left Hogwarts, and it stayed in the Chamber of Secrets." Rolf wondered.

"It lied to you." Ravenclaw glanced at Rolf and said slowly:

"That basilisk was trained by Salazar himself. It is very good at lying, as natural as breathing."

"So..." Rolf narrowed his eyes and said slowly: "Slytherin will come back to Hogwarts again in the future and leave the basilisk behind?"

"Maybe." Ravenclaw didn't seem to care too much. She looked at the boy with burning eyes and said in a cold voice:

"I have something to ask you for."

"What's going on?" Luofu asked quickly.

Ravenclaw stood up, her long hair flowing down her back like a waterfall. She wore a silk dress made of ivory brocade and silver thread, which was extremely close-fitting and outlined a graceful curve.

A sky blue robe appeared behind Ravenclaw. She stretched her arms and the robe was automatically put on her body, covering the lines.

Ravenclaw, wearing a pair of jade feet that did not disturb the slightest dust, stepped lightly on the lake, causing ripples visible to the naked eye.

"follow me."
