Chapter 166: Luofu, I want to eat your roast chicken

The lava dragon turned its head and stared intently at Hermione, who was watching him eating. Its lava-like eyes were shining with red light.

Being stared at by a giant dragon that was more than ten meters long, Hermione pursed her lips tightly, and a nervous emotion akin to fear arose in her heart.

However, she was not scared away. Instead, she clenched her wand and stared at the lava dragon with all her concentration, her body tense like a bowstring.

The lava dragon stretched out its long neck covered with black scales, opened its mouth, and exposed its sharp teeth. Between the black teeth, smoke filled the air, as if it would spit out flames in the next second.

Hermione immediately raised her wand, pointed it at the lava dragon, and shouted: "The canthus is cracked!"

The eye disease spell accurately hit the lava dragon's eye, and it let out a sharp, rough and painful cry.

Hermione, who had been trained by Rolf for several days, did not just stay there stupidly. She suddenly jumped on her side and rolled far away.

Sure enough, in the next second, a large pool of molten liquid spurted out from the mouth of the lava dragon, covering the place where she had just stood.

Hermione stood up and turned around to look, but couldn't help but feel her scalp numb and her back feel cold.

What the lava dragon spits out is not flames, but a large ball of hot magma. The magma is translucent, like red agate turned into liquid. It is really beautiful, but also really scary!

Hermione really turned around and ran away without hesitation for half a second. Her life was more important than collecting dragon crystals.

The lava dragon was hit in the eye by the Eye Disease Curse. Not only was it in pain, but it was also unable to see anything. At this time, the only thought in its mind was to find the damn little thief and bug that attacked it... and burn it to death!

The lava dragon rose up, flapped its wings and flew into the air. Unseen, it directly started the violent mode of indiscriminate attacks:

It let out a thunderous roar, stretched its neck, and spewed out a large amount of furnace-like magma, lighting up the entire volcano.

Hermione, who was running down the mountain, heard a whistling sound in the air. She immediately turned her head and saw a ball of lava flying straight towards her.

The girl kept walking, raised her wand in the distance, pointed it in the air, and shouted: "Armor for protection!"

The invisible vertical wall immediately blocked the magma, but the high temperature burned the iron armor curse, making a hissing sound like water dripping onto a hot iron block.

Hermione quickened her pace, only to find that the row of bushes in front of her was covered with lava and on fire. She had no choice but to turn around and rush east quickly.

But there was also lava rain in the east, so she turned sharply back and ran westward.

Hermione just circled around the mountain, avoiding the lava that was blooming like raindrops, while running down the mountain.

Unfortunately, she did not reach the foot of the mountain, but ended up trapped on a big rock.

In front of Hermione, there was a river, but what was flowing was not a stream, but fiery red lava!

She was surrounded by lava!!

Hermione stood helpless on the boulder, like a small boat in the huge waves, in danger of capsizing at any time.

She used "clear spring water" and sprayed it on the magma, but because there was too little water, oxygen quickly decomposed under high temperatures and turned into an accelerant, which almost set her sleeves on fire.

Hermione had no choice but to sit on the stone, look at the lava river in front of her, and quickly think of ways to save herself.

As the temperature increases, the color of the magma will change from red to orange to golden. When the temperature reaches over 1,100 degrees, the color of the magma will be like platinum.

The good news is that the magma in front of you is only dark red, which means that the temperature is not high, only more than 400 to 500 degrees, and the process of condensation and hardening will be very fast.

The bad news is that the transformation from hot magma to cool rock will take several hours no matter how fast it is.

Before the magma cooled down, the lava dragon had already recovered its eyesight and found itself!

Even if it couldn't find her, Hermione would be burned to death.

The hot magma is bubbling with boiling bubbles, the steam is steaming, and the smoke is curling up. The ground is like a huge oven.

Hermione was enveloped in a heat wave that made her breathless. She felt the moisture in her body evaporate rapidly.

The atmosphere in the Quidditch field suddenly became tense. The students present could not help holding their breaths as they looked at Hermione behind the magic curtain.

"Hermione Granger is trapped in the magma. Once the lava dragon recovers, she will be in danger. If she stays too long, the high temperature around her will be enough to kill her." Ludo said loudly:

"Granger may have used a distress bomb, which also means giving up the game, but it is the best solution at this moment."

To give up or to persevere, that is indeed the question!

Hermione sat on the increasingly hot stone, feeling a little hesitant and helpless for a moment. She didn't want to give up the game, but it seemed that it really was... over.

Just when Hermione was about to take out the emergency bomb, a familiar shout sounded faintly in her ears. She looked up and was stunned for a moment.

Shirley was standing on the other side, shouting loudly at her, and on the lava river, someone was passing by with an indescribable lightness and grace.

Hermione pursed her lips and stared blankly at Rolf, who was coming straight towards her.

Rolf jumped over the lava and landed on the stone. Looking at the dusty and embarrassed girl, he asked with concern: "Hermione, are you okay?"

Hermione didn't say anything, just wiped her cheek with her sleeve.

"Why are you crying?" Luofu asked softly.

"No!" Hermione wiped away her nose and tears randomly, raised her chin, and snorted hard:

"It's so hot, it's sweat!"

Luofu smiled and said softly: "Sorry, I'm late. Come on, I'll take you there."

The young man put his arm around Hermione's waist, whispered "get up", and led her to float to the distant shore.

After landing, Shirley came over and saw that Hermione was sweating profusely. She immediately thoughtfully handed over a chilled water bottle.

Hermione took the water bottle and put it to her mouth. A stream of cool water slowly poured into her mouth, sending a refreshing chill from head to toe.

Hermione sat on the ground, sipping cold water. After she was almost recovered, Rolf asked: "What's going on here? A volcano erupted?"

"No, it was the magma dragon." Hermione explained: "When I went looking for dragon crystal, I met it, and then I hit it in the eye with the Eye Spell, and it sprayed magma everywhere."

Luo Fu nodded and asked: "So, you haven't gotten the dragon crystal yet?"

Hermione shook her head.

"That's good. After a while, I'll take you to get the dragon crystal." Luo Fu said.

Hermione nodded and asked a little embarrassedly: "Shirley, is there anything to eat?"

"Are you hungry?" Shirley asked, stunned.

"Yeah." Hermione rubbed her belly and said with a grimace:

"I haven't eaten much for almost a day and a night. I'm going to be very hungry now...Rolf, I want to eat roast chicken."
