Chapter 21: Chapter 21

Jingyan breathed a sigh of relief. Fearing that they would come back again, she quickly opened the door and returned to the house.

She didn't turn on the light, so she walked to the window in the dark, raised the curtains and looked down.

After a while, Jing Zhiyuan and Shen Hui were seen walking out of the apartment.

Shen Hui quickly stepped forward and opened the car door.

When Jing Zhiyuan got into the car, he suddenly looked up.

Jingyan was startled and hid behind the wall.

The car quickly left before I dared to turn on the lights.

Jingyan had another nightmare. She dreamed that her father was killed and lying in a pool of blood. Her eyes were wide open and covered with ants, and she refused to close her eyes.

While her mother was being euthanized, she suddenly sat up and looked at her with scarlet eyes, asking her why she was being treated like this. She couldn't say anything and shook her head, and her mother rushed towards her.

She woke up suddenly, gasping for air, her head covered with sweat, and even her clothes were soaked.

After she calmed down, she turned around and saw that it was bright outside the window.

She remembered her appointment with Wang Fan today, had a simple breakfast, and went to the law office to find him.

"The information you gave me is not enough. If possible, it is best to get evidence that your second uncle Jing Zhiyuan bribed those people." Wang Fan said while looking at the information she gave.

Jing Yan frowned, a little embarrassed, "I know, but you also know that if someone like my second uncle can reach this point, he will never let me get the evidence easily. If I meet you now, maybe in the dark His people are watching!"

Wang Fan also knew her difficulty, "Okay, I'll think of other ways. If I need anything, I'll contact you again."

Jing Yan nodded, "Sorry to trouble you, Lawyer Wang!"

When she left the law firm, she originally wanted to take a taxi and leave. However, she suddenly changed her mind and took the bus and then the subway.

When she entered the subway and sat down, a man in a gray hoodie sat opposite her, staring directly at her.

Jing Yan recognized him, he was the person sent by Jing Zhiyuan to monitor and follow her.

She checked his information and found out that his name was Li Linjing, who graduated from a certain police academy, and was introduced to Jing Zhiyuan by Shen Hui.

She ignored his presence, took out her mobile phone, and sent Lin Nai a text message.

I turned off my phone, looked up at Li Linjing again, walked out of the subway at the next stop, and walked back to my apartment.

Li Linjing followed her outside the apartment and then called Jing Zhiyuan to report her whereabouts.

Jing Zhiyuan was attending a symposium, and Chi Zhengfeng happened to be speaking on the stage.

He was full of energy and became the focus of the audience.

The symposium ended quickly. Jing Zhiyuan took the initiative to step forward with a glass of champagne, "Third Master, what you just said on the stage was really inspiring and worth learning from!"

Chi Zhengfeng heard flattery the most today. He smiled lightly and said, "Thank you!"

Jing Zhiyuan raised the champagne in his hand, and Chi Zhengfeng responded by taking a sip.

Next, the two of them didn't speak, and the atmosphere became a little awkward.

But in the end it was Jing Zhiyuan who opened up the topic, "Why did you appear in Tongling Mountain, Gyeongju that day?"

"I went there with Ayan."

"Yeah!"

Jing Zhiyuan smiled meaningfully.

Because he knew that only Jing Yan was going that day, and he arrived later, not accompanying Jing Yan at all.

"How did Ayan get the items in the package?"

Chi Zhengfeng knew that he was trying to trick him, so he smiled and said, "Dr. Jing, what do you want to know?"

"Don't get me wrong, I'm just asking casually, I don't mean anything else." Jing Zhiyuan clarified.

Chi Zhengfeng naturally didn't believe what he said, but he didn't say much. He drank the champagne, put the glass on the table, and turned to leave.

“Third Master,” Jing Zhiyuan stopped him, “I know you protect Ayan and are willing to provide her with more convenience, but have you ever thought about why so many people are unwilling to wade into this muddy water?

There must be a reason. Ayan's father, my eldest brother, is not what you think."

Chi Zhengfeng stopped and turned his head.

Jing Zhiyuan had a smile in his eyes, seeming to remind him, but actually he was causing trouble.

Chi Zhengfeng was well aware of his little thoughts. He turned around and took steps to close the distance with him. He raised his head and looked directly into his eyes, "I can wade through this muddy water."

Jing Zhiyuan's pupils shrank, and his expression was cold for a moment, but he quickly restored his smile and said sincerely: "You young people, you are so impulsive in doing things, never caring about the consequences, you will regret it!"

Chi Zhengfeng smiled, "Dr. Jing, you and I are the same generation!"

Jing Zhiyuan was slightly surprised, "Oh, really, I really don't know!"

Chi Zhengfeng didn't agree with him, "By the way, tell your people to stop following Ayan, otherwise if anything happens, don't blame me."

After saying that, he turned around and left the scene.

The corners of Jing Zhiyuan's eyes twitched, and his face became slightly gloomy.
