Chapter 10

In his previous life, when Song Wenjing had nothing to do, he liked to watch some treasure appraisal programs. At the same time, he also bought a lot of books about collections to read.

Especially at night, in the dead of night, when he lives alone in a rental house and has nothing to do, he likes to take out books and read them. He even goes for a walk to the Confucian Temple in the city when he has time.

For no other reason than to talk nonsense with those cultural relic dealers who set up stalls. He knew very well that most of the guys who set up stalls in the Confucian Temple were works of art, and they were basically fakes.

But this did not dissipate his enthusiasm. In the past, his main purpose was to hear some experiences and gain some knowledge.

In the past, he had also imagined that he could pick up something missing in the process of collecting rags. That might make him rich overnight, and he would have no worries about food and clothing.

It's a pity that in the 1980s and 1990s, he didn't understand this at all. He might have collected the treasure without knowing it and sold it as scrap. Later, when he slowly understood it, he actively learned it.

At that time, the time has come to 2000 years later.

At that time, there was nothing missing for him to pick up. Even if there was, it was probably a scam or something.

Therefore, after nearly ten years, he no longer expects to get rich overnight. It is more of one of his few hobbies. When he is free, he wanders around, studies, and kills his leisure time.

time.

Now, he unexpectedly received a scroll, especially since this scroll obviously did not look like a modern thing and looked to be quite old, which made him even more ecstatic.

He was even imagining whether God would give him an unexpected surprise, a painting by Tang Yin, as a gift for him in this life.

With excitement, Song Wenjing slowly opened the scroll.

The scroll is not very big, about 120 centimeters long and 50 centimeters wide. Both wooden scrolls look worn, especially one of the corners, which has a small piece torn off, about a few centimeters apart. It should be due to poor storage.

.

But overall, it is quite complete and the painting has not been affected in any way.

This is a picture of a lady. Under the sunset, the lady is holding a pipa and kneeling on a curved boat, driving among the reeds.

The whole character is lifelike and vivid on the paper. In the lower left corner, a clear seal is stamped on the cash withdrawal.

The withdrawals are: Daoguang, Dingyou, Zhongxia, Tiaoxi, Xiaolou, Fei Danxu.

The seal is in seal script: Danxu.

Fei Danxu was a painter of the Qing Dynasty. His courtesy name was Zitiao, his nickname was Xiaolou, his aliases were Huanxisheng and Huanzhusheng. He was a native of Sanbei Township and his later nickname was Ouweng. He was a native of Wucheng (now Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province).

He was born on December 26, the sixth year of Jiaqing (January 29, 1802), and died on the first day of November, the 30th year of Daoguang (December 4, 1850). His father Fei Zongqian was good at painting landscapes.

Fei Danxu received a family biography when he was young, and he often stayed with painters such as Feng Ji, Ni Shihui, Tang Yifen, Zhang Xiong, etc., enjoying the landscape, and his portraits were unique.

He is especially famous for his paintings of ladies, and together with Gai Qi, who was famous at that time, he was called "Gai Fei". The ladies he painted are graceful and plain, free and natural, with loose lines and light colors, giving them a unique style.

His representative work "Twelve Golden Hairpins" should be kept in the Palace Museum. His later work "Old Pictures of Orchards" is in the Zhejiang Provincial Museum.

His painting style had a great influence on modern lady paintings and folk New Year paintings. However, his life was burdened by his family's livelihood, and he often sold his paintings to Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.

As a culturally prosperous place in Jiangsu Province, Shuzhou City is also a place where Fei Danxu often hangs out.

Daoguang Dingyou year, that is, 1837, has a history of 151 years.

Judging from the age, more than 150 years does not seem to be particularly outstanding. However, he can be regarded as famous in the calligraphy and painting circles of the late Qing Dynasty, especially the paintings of ladies he made. And counting from the year of Daoguang and Dingyou.

, this painting was made in his later years.

This painting may not be one of his masterpieces, but as long as it has his seal and payment on it and is authenticated, its value is not low.

Of course, the value mentioned here refers to the future. At present, if Song Wenjing takes it out for appraisal and sells it, it will probably only cost one or two hundred yuan at most. It is not even as much as the price of a bicycle.

.

You know, it's still the 1980s, and not many people are interested in these things.

Everyone is still hovering near the food and clothing line, so how can they bother to pay attention to such paintings.

Except for true collectors who may be willing to pay a slightly higher price, most people are probably more willing to exchange it for a bicycle.

At this time, Song Wenjing was extremely excited when he saw the signature and seal.

Now, he has never thought about selling this painting for money. This is the first time in his life that he has found a painting, and of course he cherishes it. In addition, he also knows the current market price, so how can he be willing to sell it?

Out.

However, he took a few glances at this painting and did not look at it carefully.

Now, he was still standing on the roadside of Wangzhuang, holding a painting in his hand, which was a bit conspicuous after all. He didn't want anyone to see any clues.

The painting can be taken back and slowly appreciated. Regarding this painting, he is already 80% sure that it is authentic. But after all, he has not studied it carefully, and he is not sure yet that it is authentic and a treasure.

At this time, someone on a bicycle was already driving towards us in the distance.

With excitement, Song Wenjing quickly re-rolled the scroll, wrapped it in layers with the recovered newspapers, and carefully placed it on the corner of the cart to avoid being crushed or scratched by other objects.

After placing the scroll, he calmed down, pulled up the cart again, and walked forward. At the same time, he continued to shout: "Collect scrap iron, copper, aluminum, newspapers, magazines and old books!"

At this time, Song Wenjing had some expectations. He hoped to have such good luck again in the coming time.

Unfortunately, things backfired. In one day, he collected a lot of old newspapers, magazines, books and scrap metal, but there was nothing he was particularly looking forward to.

Until the evening, after returning home, the good luck could not be repeated.

Song Wenjing smiled a little self-deprecatingly. He found that he was a little too lucky. The next day when he went out to collect rags, he received a good painting. He even shamelessly wanted to get another good thing. There is no such good luck in the world.

But today’s harvest is not bad. About 150 kilograms of old books, newspapers, cardboard, etc. were collected. Including the broken tractor fender, the scrap iron was also collected over 50 kilograms.

As for toothpaste skins, there are dozens of them, which is better than nothing.

Someone wanted to sell him old furniture, but he saw that it wasn't really good wood, so he deliberately lowered the price and didn't want it.

One is that he really can't make a few cents, and the other is that a cart is already loaded with more than two hundred kilograms of stuff. If he puts the old furniture on it, it will definitely not be able to load it, and he can't pull it.

.

Even calculated in this way, today's harvest is already very good. It must be more than 2 yuan, or even 3 yuan.

I am very tired and my voice is a little hoarse. After all, I have just started working in this industry and my body is still not used to it.

But Song Wenjing felt pain and happiness at the same time, especially when he took the picture of the lady off the cart, his joy was beyond words.

I returned to my room, lit the kerosene lamp, took out the flashlight and pressed the button, and then slowly opened the painting.

It's a pity that there is no magnifying glass at home, otherwise, he really planned to take a closer look with the magnifying glass.

Moreover, it was getting late, so the view was not very clear. But even so, based on the brushwork, the seal, and the condition of the paper, it can be basically concluded that this painting of a lady is definitely an authentic work made by Fei Danxu in his later years.

Moreover, looking at the overall painting, it can even be called Fei Danxu's masterpiece. Even if it cannot be said to be a masterpiece, it is not far behind.

Song Wenjing originally wanted to appreciate it. As a lover of antiques, if he could get such a masterpiece, of course he wanted to take a good look at it.

But it was indeed getting late, and with a flashlight and kerosene lamp for lighting, he was really worried that he might accidentally ruin such a work.
