Chapter 3232

Chapter 3232

Leonardo is a member of the Austrian Parliament.

He had dreamed that every place in Austria would be as peaceful and peaceful as Vienna.

The whole city is full of artistic atmosphere.

People will have better pursuits, and everyone is grateful to the Lord for everything he has given them.

At least until today, Leondo still thinks so. All the scenery he has seen along the way, even his clothes were torn to pieces by refugees.

But he always insisted on the faith in his heart and always believed that everything would be fine.

"Will it get better?" Leonardo deeply questioned in his heart.

The main city of Prague is simply a hell on earth.

Leondo looked at a little girl about five or six years old on the street. Her whole body was dirty and her clothes were dark red.

He was holding something unknown in his hand, and it was extremely dark.

While eating, he said: "I'm full and I'm not hungry anymore."

Leondo was stunned. If a little girl of her age were born in Vienna, even in a civilian family, she could spend her childhood happily.

But now in Prague, both of them felt like their hearts had been tugged.

Leondo walked forward vigorously. When the little girl saw Leondo suddenly appear, her face turned pale and she hid the things in her hands behind her in panic.

She also moved back and looked at Leonardo with great fear.

Leondo squeezed out a smile on his stiff face and tried to speak as gently as possible: "Kid, what are you eating? Uncle has delicious food here."

"Do you want to eat? Where are your parents?"

Leonardo reached out to Daniel to ask for food.

Daniel glanced at him, said nothing, and took out some clean dry food from his bag. After the little girl saw it, she couldn't help but drool at the corner of her mouth.

Leondo handed it over, and the little girl immediately took it, looked at the big white dry food, and swallowed.

"Eat, why don't you eat?"

The little girl immediately shook her head, put the dry food in her arms, turned around and ran into the house behind her without saying a word.

Leondo looked at the things left by the little girl. When he got closer and took a closer look, he knew what it was.

"It's bark!" Leonardo's expression suddenly changed.

A little girl of five or six years old eats tree bark!

Not long after she ran in, the little girl ran out again and picked up the piece of bark that she had not finished chewing.

Seeing this scene, both Leonardo and Daniel fell into deathly silence.

Leonardo followed the little girl into the room expressionlessly.

In the dim room, Leonardo saw a thin woman lying on a bed.

She closed her eyes tightly, and the little girl pushed her and shouted childishly: "Mom, mom, there is a kind uncle outside who has brought us food. Please get up and eat."

The woman didn't respond.

A gust of wind blew, and Leondo knew that she would never respond again.

The unimaginable heaviness suddenly crushed Leondo's cheeks, and he closed his eyes tightly to try to stop the tears that were about to fall.

But apparently to no avail.

Tears still opened his eyelids and flowed down. Leonardo took a deep breath. He could not lose his composure in front of children.

Leonardo gently comforted the little girl.

The little girl felt warmth coming from the top of her head. She looked up and saw that it was her uncle. The expression on her face became surprised and happy.

"Mom, look, mom has come in."

"Get up quickly."

Leondo didn't know how to tell this five or six-year-old child the cruel fact that her mother was gone.

Leondo forced out a smile and said: "Your mother is tired and fell asleep."
