Chapter 19 Commissioned by the Church for Investigation

Xina's words made the three of them feel as if they had fallen into an ice cellar.

Akins tried his best to pretend to be uninformed, but his whole face was trembling slightly, while Mistongo's eyes widened and he was in a trance, not knowing what he was thinking.

Su Ge was a little surprised. To be honest, he didn't expect that the matter would spread so fast, but after thinking about it for a while, he understood.

More than two hours have passed since the three of them escaped, to Tamaria Park, and then to the association. There is only a river between the medical school and the central district. Two hours of personnel movement is enough to convey and spread a lot of things.

.

What's more, it's such a big news that the ambassador was beaten.

"So, how's it going?" Su Ge asked.

Hearing Su Ge's words, Hina showed a rare expression of doubt and walked to Su Ge, "There's something wrong with you."

"Wha, what's wrong?"

"I can't tell, but something is wrong." Xina thought for a while, "That medical school incident, you..."

"It wasn't us!"

Sugar, Miston, and Akins said in unison.

The air seemed to freeze for a few seconds. As if Sheena understood something, she restrained all her expressions and emotions and turned back to pack her things.

"Hey, madam, there's no need to be like this. It's as if the three of us have been sentenced to death." Akins was still struggling.

"There will be no death penalty, but I'm afraid there won't be any good results. Of course, the specific situation depends on the wishes of the ambassador. The words of a diplomat from a big country carry a lot of weight."

"If you are willing, I can help contact Angdu, but I am not completely sure." Hina said to Su Ge.

After hearing this, Akins thought for a while, suddenly laughed, and said, "This place is nice, it's warm, I like it here."

Su Ge glanced at Akins and ignored him.

Just when he was about to question Hina carefully, the door of the association was knocked again.

Su Ge became nervous all of a sudden, his muscles all over his body tensed instantly, and then he pushed Mistongo and Akins down, like a hungry tiger pouncing on food.

It wasn't until the three of them hid behind the sofa that Hina walked slowly to the door. After a rustling sound, the door closed again, and Hina came back holding a thick paper bag.

"I was scared to death. I thought it was that bastard." Akins poked his head out from behind the sofa and found that he was not being chased to the door. Then he lazily walked out and sat down on the sofa again.

Su Ge came to Hina, looked at the thick paper bag, and asked:

"What's this?"

"Commission from the Church."

"The church still has a commission?" Su Ge was a little surprised, "Can I see it?"

"Of course, you are a member of the association."

Su Ge made a "wait a minute" gesture to Miston Ge and Akins, went to the side with Xina, opened the paper bag and looked through it.

Soon, as he read the information, Su Ge's expression became more and more strange. His eyebrows were almost twisted together, looking very confused.

"Investigating the ambassador of the Mogorian United States?" Su Ge pointed to the information in his hand and cast a questioning look at Sheena, "What does this mean?"

"Like you, I just got this information."

Su Ge understood Hina's thoughts. The two of them got the information at the same time. If there was any doubt, it was the same for both individuals.

Su Ge waved his hand, "I mean, doesn't our association only handle written entrustments? How come this entrustment..."

"No, is this a commission from the church?" Su Ge finally found the point.

Hina looked at Su Ge and said softly:

"Yes, it is the tradition of the Mutual Aid Association. I think you must have encountered similar things when you were working in the association in York."

"In many cases, in many situations where it is not convenient for the church to come forward directly, they will entrust it to us in this way."

"Until now, a tacit understanding has been reached. And this commission, as you can see, is to investigate this ambassador, Enguize."

"Is there anything wrong with this man? Why should the church investigate him? Judging from his information, except for the fact that he is lustful, everything else is normal." Su Ge asked.

"Then... we have to go through an investigation before we can know." Hina looked at Su Ge, "Do you want to accept it?"

"Me?" Su Ge looked shocked, "Me, am I suitable?"

"I don't want to move." Xina replied simply.

"Well, I know, and it's not that I don't want to, but you also know that what we just did in the medical school, and it's up to me to investigate at this time, I'm afraid..."

Su Ge hesitated and pointed a finger in the direction of Akins and Mistongo. In the blink of an eye, he found that the place was empty.

"Are you looking for us?" Akins' voice came from behind Sugar.

Su Ge was startled, and just about to get angry, he saw Akins staring at the information in his hand, so he quickly closed it and asked:

"Did you hear everything?"

"Of course, this place is only so big." Akins said nonchalantly.

"Don't you think it's rude to eavesdrop on other people's conversations?"

"Well, it's nothing, it's not a secret."

Sugar thought about it, and it was indeed as Akins said, this was not a secret at all. However, he was very helpless with Akins' familiar character, and could almost be said to be helpless.

Just when he was about to say something, he found that Akins' eyes were still fixed on the information in his hand.

Sugar, who had already suffered several losses from Akins, once again had a bad feeling.

"Well, Mowglien's ambassador, Enguize, is that bastard, isn't he? It seems that he is indeed not a good person."

Akins muttered, punched his chest with both fists, and said firmly: "I'll go investigate."

"Just wait for me."

Su Ge quickly grabbed the corner of Akins' clothes and said, "This is not your task. No, this matter has nothing to do with you."

Akins blinked, "This is a commission, isn't it?"

"Yes, but this is an entrustment to the internal members of the Mutual Aid Association. You, an outsider, don't need to..."

"Then I'll join," Akins interrupted Sugar. "I'll join. Is that okay?"

Su Ge was confused.

He found that he couldn't keep up with Akins' thinking at all, or in other words, he didn't know whether Akins was thinking at all.

Su Ge looked at Hina, who turned her face to one side, looking like "Don't ask me, I don't know either."

"Um..." Su Ge drawled, "According to the procedure, joining the association requires identity verification, but you are a companion of the Knowledge Church, so..."

"Actually, I don't know what to do, but this matter must at least be approved by the president of Faerun, right?"

After Su Ge finished speaking, he looked at Hina again, and Hina nodded silently.

"Okay, as you said, where is the president?"

"I don't know," Su Ge felt relaxed for a moment and spread his hands, "I haven't seen it either."

Sugar thought that this would dampen Akins' enthusiasm, but what he didn't expect was that Akins just nodded, with no trace of disappointment on his face.

"Well, it doesn't matter. I can complete the commission first, and when the president comes back, I can make a report without any delay."

Su Ge was helpless and asked with a grimace: "Can I ask why?"

"Why?" Akins was puzzled.

"Why are you trying to get in trouble with this guy, and why are you even willing to join the association to carry out this commission?"

"No, no, no, you misunderstood," Akins stretched out his index finger and shook it, "I investigated this bastard purely out of my own will. A guy like this would not be forgiven even if he died ten thousand times.

"

"However, his identity still gives me a bit of a headache. I thought there was nothing I could do about it, but then I happened to encounter this commission. Do you think this is some kind of hint?"

"Since someone has been entrusted to investigate that bastard, that is to say, he is very suspicious and may have some dirty secrets on him. As long as I can find out, I can send that guy to prison in a fair and just way. Isn't this an exciting thing?

?"

After speaking, Akins raised his eyebrows, showing a confident look.

"So, is this the reason why you want to join the association? If that's the reason, I don't know if you can pass the test, but I think there's a high probability that you won't." Su Ge had no energy left.

"No," Akins denied Sugar again, "I want to join here because I think it's pretty good and humane. It's much better than places that only look at profit."

The scene calmed down for a moment.

I don’t know if Akins was flattering intentionally or unintentionally, or for some other reason. Su Ge suddenly discovered that Akins was actually not that annoying. At least he still had recognized qualities as a person.

"Um."

Xina snorted softly and looked at Miston Ge who was always hiding behind everyone. Seeing that obedient face, she suddenly sighed and said:

"This is a commission from the church. Of course, judging from the information in hand now, it's not a secret. This person should be a partner of the Church of Knowledge. If that's the case, it doesn't matter if you know it, but it's only limited to

current level."

After saying that, Hina's eyes swept across the three people's faces and said: "If it hadn't been for what you did before, this matter could have been left to you, but now it seems..."

"It seems that you have been involved in something quite troublesome. May the goddess bless you."

Hey, hey, hey, it’s not that bad. You haven’t done anything yet, so why are you starting to pray to the goddess... Su Ge looked at Hina’s face and felt panicked.

"No," Akins also said, "I know, although there is a bit of conflict between us, but it's just a punch. That bastard can't be so stingy, right?"

"If it doesn't work, I can ask him to fight back, didn't he say so? In the same way, if that doesn't work, I will ask him to punch him twice. Well, I will then start investigating him and send him to prison."

As Akins spoke, his face showed a calm and unhurried confidence, very relaxed, and it seemed that the matter had been solved.

When Su Ge heard this, he no longer had the energy to pay attention to Akins, and had only one thought in his mind.

This guy is really worried to death.
