189 Luke's Eyes

 "What is this!"

Tony looked ahead blankly, obviously impatient after hearing a series of stories from Sharon Carter.

"What I want to know is about mages, not what those weird superpowers have done."

Tony looked at Sharon Carter in front of him, feeling a little impatient.

As the leader of a large enterprise, of course he knew about the existence of those weird superpowers, but that was not what he wanted to know.

Pepper stared at Tony with serious eyes, like a mother scolding her child.

Under this serious gaze, Tony gradually calmed down.

"Tony, we don't know about the existence of the mage."

Sharon Carter said calmly, she had never seen the mage Tony mentioned before.

"It's not like I don't know about the existence of those superpowers, so why should I ask Aunt Peggy for help?"

Tony Stark glanced at Nick Fury standing aside with some disdain.

Although he does not know Nick Fury, this does not prevent him from figuring out Nick's identity from Sharon Carter's attitude.

"Okay Tony, you should go back and rest, it's already very late now."

Pepper interrupted Tony's complaint. He would not get the ending he wanted if he continued to stay here. It would be better to go back early and have a good rest.

"Okay Peppa. Maybe it's time for me to have a good sleep. When I wake up, the nightmare will be over."

Tony stood up unsteadily and walked towards his car.

"Tony, I'll ride in a car with you."

Pepper followed behind and gestured to Sharon Carter a little apologetically.

Then he drove away with Tony and Nick Fury who were not far from the door.

"Director, what brings you here?"

Sharon asked Nick Fury without looking back. From the moment he arrived here, he had been standing there looking at the blacksmith shop.

After he came in, he just said hello to Killer Monkey and didn't do anything else.

"I'm here for support."

Nick Fury sat directly at the table, a little depressed.

S.H.I.E.L.D. really doesn’t have any power to spare these days.

He even had to seek help from Rumlow, the person he had hurt. After all, SHIELD was not very good at facing the mysterious field.

Nick Fury picked up the half bottle of wine left by Tony on the table, walked to the edge of the closet, took out a glass that looked like it hadn't been used for a long time, and poured it into it.

"Director, I would like to remind you to act within your ability in everything."

Sharon Carter took a deep look at Nick Fury, then left the blacksmith shop with her handbag.

S.H.I.E.L.D. indeed contributes to the safety of the world, but trying to master things that are uncontrollable is dangerous in itself.

Sharon Carter did not die inexplicably, so she never deliberately sought more truth.

Nick Fury sat back at the table and poured himself a drink.

Killer Monkey was sitting on a stool on the side with some twitching, not knowing what he was thinking.

"The captain and the others called for support, but I couldn't even send out any support personnel. It's really ridiculous."

Nick Fury's face took off his usual disguise and he murmured to himself.

S.H.I.E.L.D. is still under supervision and review from other departments, and even if he wants to send out a team of field agents, he has to report it.

SHIELD is now in chaos and has no ability to deal with emergencies.

"Zhizhizhi~"

The killer monkey's mocking cry reached directly into Fury's ears.

Then Nick Fury's cell phone rang.

"Director, we are returning."

Coulson's tone of reporting the situation was the same as usual.

"Then come directly to this blacksmith shop."

After speaking, Nick Fury took a deep sip of wine.

"receive."

Then Coulson hung up the phone.

Nick Fury needs to know what happened in this operation, and he doesn't want those military guys to get involved.

The big green guy alone was troublesome enough. He didn't want to hear about a big red guy, a harpy or the like being born from the hands of the military one day.

"Rumlow, go get Luke."

Talik, who had just returned from the Temple of the Elders, interrupted Rumlow's training. After knowing who the next enemy was, this soft training method had to be accelerated.

"It seems I have to go to the secret place where the team is formed?"

Rumlow put away his weapon and spoke to Tarik.

"Who told you that?"

Tarik's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Obvious thing, why else would you ask me to call Luke?"

Even Matthew returned to the Holy Mountain, but as soon as he came back, Bulcasso threw him to Leiko.

Rumlow did not notice Matthew's arrival.

He turned around and walked towards Luke's training place, leaving Tarik's soul behind.

Orak, who was responsible for training Jessica, was looking at Jessica who was still wielding the weapon, hesitating whether to tell Jessica the truth about his trial.

Even though he wanted to give the barbarians more power, he still didn't intend to provide any convenience to allow Jessica to survive this crisis.

Even if the world may soon fall into war, he will not violate his principles.

But telling the other person about the danger she is about to face is not a violation.

"Orak, are you trying to tell me something? For example, that I will probably die in your trial?"

Jessica did not stop the movements in her hands and spoke in a very calm tone.

“I’ve thought about it a lot since coming here.

I was saved from the nightmare by Bulqueso, but how should the nightmare I brought to others end?

I am a human being and I still have my own thoughts even if I am used as a weapon.

If you do something wrong, you will eventually have to pay a price, and this is only fair."

Jessica finished speaking and finished waving for the fifth thousandth time.

She turned around and looked at the tall Orak and smiled, a little heroic.

"Tell me when I will start the trial."

Orak saw the seriousness in Jessica's eyes, and then he sat cross-legged on the ground.

"Tomorrow, tomorrow you can try to redeem yourself."

Orac has seen too many barbarian recruits, and he will not be particularly fond of this girl because of Jessica's free and easy attitude.

Most barbarians are like this, and he has long been used to it.

"Can I eat something other than brown bread for once today? I'm fed up with that dry feeling."

Jessica sat directly opposite Orac, carefully studying the barbarian known as the God of War.

His brown beard and hair were a mess, covering most of his face.

His thick eyebrows partially obscured his eyes that were originally like bells, making it difficult for people to see his eyes clearly.

"I'll ask someone else to prepare food for you."

Orak remained calm as usual.

Behind the stone not far away, Luke was peeping at what was going on here.

Behind him, Vida was following his gaze and watching the interaction between Jessica and Orak.

Vader's face looked a little strange.
