Chapter 1099 Miaohua Zen Monk

Miaohua is a Zen monk. Different from the warrior monks, the warrior monks do not have to observe the precepts. They only need to make the wine and meat pass through the intestines and stay in the heart of the Buddha. They can even kill animals when necessary.

The cultivation method of Zen monks mainly relies on meditating, chanting sutras and thoroughly studying Buddhist scriptures.

Once a Zen monk succeeds in his practice, his words and deeds can influence the people around him.

If a Zen monk keeps the precepts, others will keep them; if a Zen monk breaks the precepts, others will break them;

If a Zen monk is good, others will be kind; if a Zen monk is evil, others will be evil;

The great thing about Zen monks is that they can even use their own precepts to regulate others so that others are not under control!

Seeing Abbot Haixin trembling with fear and unable to speak, Zen Monk Miaohua lost his patience.

He saluted with the palm of his left hand, uttered a Sanskrit sound from his mouth, and uttered a sentence that no one could resist:

"Amitabha! There is no dust in my heart, and I am completely at ease!"

Golden ripples of Buddha's light spread to all directions, and Abbot Haixin, who was still panicking, instantly calmed down.

He no longer trembled, but clasped his hands together and sat cross-legged in front of Miaohua.

"The poor monk is in trouble." Abbot Haixin lowered his head and said.

In fact, in terms of seniority, Abbot Haixin should be higher than Miaohua. After all, he is also quite old.

But because Miaohua came from Hanshan Temple, which was far beyond the comparison of this small Four Virtues Temple, Miaohua was arrogant, and Abbot Haixin did not dare to discuss seniority with Miaohua.

Seeing Abbot Haixin calm down, Miaohua said again: "Monks don't lie!"

Abbot Haixin perked up and replied, "That's what I heard."

Influenced by Zen Monk Miaohua's precepts, Abbot Haixin now abides by the precepts extremely well. No matter what Miaohua asks him, he will answer truthfully without any lies.

This move can be resisted by those with advanced Taoism, but Abbot Haixin, as a monk in the secular world, is really no match for Miaohua.

Miaohua did not intend to interrogate him personally, but said to the monk beside him who had eight ring scars on his head: "Chang Ji, you come and ask."

"Yes, Master."

Monk Chang Ji strode up to Abbot Haixin, clasped his hands together, and asked:

"Where is the abbot?"

Abbot Haixin replied piously: "I was conquered by a passing master."

The passing master? Conquered?

This answer was obviously beyond everyone's expectations. Monk Chang Ji couldn't help but look at his master, who also raised his eyebrows and became more focused.

"Where is the difficulty?"

"Killed by that master."

"What exactly happened and who the master is, tell me in detail!"

"Yesterday afternoon, I was blackmailing a passing pilgrim according to the abbot's request, but I encountered a problem. The pilgrim who was blackmailed had a young friend. The benefactor was a wise man and easily subdued the abbot. The benefactor wanted to kill the abbot, but I

When Fang was mentioned

Because of the relationship between his father-in-law and senior brother Runan, the benefactor changed his mind. He first accepted the abbot, and then lurked in the temple, waiting until Runan arrived before taking action. Runan was no match for the benefactor and died in the hands of the benefactor. The benefactor left the house and left.

, I left overnight last night.”

After hearing Abbot Haixin's answer, several people were even more surprised.

This time they followed Ru Nan's whereabouts to the Four Virtues Temple and were already prepared for a hard fight.

Unexpectedly, Runan was taken care of by a passing master?

Miaohua winked, and Chang Ji continued to ask for details:

"Did Runan leave anything behind after his death? What were the characteristics of that expert, or did he say something strange? Where did he go in the end?"

Abbot Haixin answered truthfully: "After Runan died, a Buddha statue fell out of his belly."

Hearing the word "Buddha statue", Chang Ji couldn't hold it back for a moment. He interrupted Abbot Haixin's other prepared answers and asked, "Where is the Buddha statue?"

"He was taken away by that master."

Miaohua's eyelids twitched, and she felt as if a duck with its beak suddenly grew wings and flew away.

They have been pursuing this matter for a whole week, and even made a special trip from Hanshan Temple in Jinling to Huizhou.

The story begins fifty years ago.

Fifty years ago, there was a profound Zen monk in Zhengde Temple named Shi Ming.

The Zen monk Shi Ming was already old at the time. In order to fulfill his great ambition, he divided his Zen mind into two parts, retaining good thoughts and eliminating evil thoughts.

The evil thoughts were sealed by Shi Ming into a Buddha statue, while the good thoughts were retained by him in his body. Shi Ming, who had no distracting thoughts in his heart, passed away on the spot. His soul went to hell and became the son of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. His great wishes and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva

Just like a Bodhisattva - I will never become a Buddha until hell is empty!

After Shi Ming left, the Buddha statue was sealed in Zhengde Temple along with his relics until twenty years ago, Ru Nan stole the relics and took the Buddha statue with him.

After a long time after the incident, the abbot of Hanshan Temple, Abbot Yansong, suddenly learned from the Zen monk's dream seven days ago that Ru Nan had stolen the Buddha statue, so he sent Miaohua and five monks to investigate the matter.

Miaohua was worried about alerting Ru Nan, so she kept observing secretly. Finally, she determined that Ru Nan was alone and helpless at the Side Temple, so she chose to take action at the Side Temple.

No, Miaohua came with the monks aggressively, ready to catch turtles in an urn.

Guess what?

The turtle was killed by others, and the eggs in the turtle's belly were taken away!

I have been tracking it down for so long and spent so much effort, but just when I was about to complete it and obtain a great merit, I was overtaken by an unrelated passerby.

Can he not be angry?

If Miaohua hadn't been a Zen monk, he would have started cursing like a warrior monk.

Miaohua took a deep breath, calmed down, and signaled to Chang Ji to continue asking.

Chang Ji asked the previous question again, and this time Abbot Haixin showed hesitation.

This is not good.

As a member of the Buddhist sect, Hai Xin actually ignored the influence of the precepts and wanted to break the precepts for a stranger?

Chang Ji said coldly: "Abbot Haixin, you don't want others to know that you are helping others to do evil, right?..."

Abbot Hai Xin was confused for a moment, but he soon adjusted himself, recited Amitabha silently, bowed his head and remained silent.

This was the first time Chang Ji saw someone who could disobey his master's commandments, and he immediately had no way to deal with Hai Xin.

He looked at Miaohua with pleading eyes.

Miaohua snorted coldly, raised the six-ringed tin staff, and struck Hai Xin hard on the body!

Abbot Haixin was already very old and could not withstand such torture. He was immediately beaten to the ground and unable to get up.

His two monk disciples were frightened and frightened, and they all rushed forward to take the beating for Abbot Haixin.

"Monks don't tell lies. As an old monk, you have read the scriptures in vain for so many years?" Miaohua scolded.

Abbot Haixin stood up tremblingly, still clasping his hands: "The master didn't want to cause trouble at first, but he stayed to take action because he was worried about the retaliation of the Four Virtues Temple. Moreover, the master specifically told the poor monk not to be exposed.

His whereabouts... The master is kind to the poor monk, but the poor monk must not repay the kindness with enmity!"

"You can beat me if you want. The poor monk will never say a word. If Buddha and Bodhisattva were here, they would also approve the poor monk's decision!"

Miaohua heard this and became furious: "Are you worthy of being compared with Buddha and Bodhisattva? Changji, beat me! Beat me hard!"
