Chapter 7 Dao, Law, and Technique

An hour later, Li Jie noticed that the heat in his body was getting weaker and weaker. He opened his eyes and slowly exhaled a breath of turbid air.

The medicine in the body is about to be exhausted, and there is no point in continuing to practice.

Although today was only the first time he came into contact with the martial arts in this world, the effects it brought shocked Li Jie.

It is indeed a high-energy world, and the foundation-building technique alone is so extraordinary.

Just one hour of practice has the same effect as a month of Peiyuan Gong, which is terrifying!

After accumulating power for such a long time, although He Yingqiu's inner emotions had slowly returned to calm, he still couldn't help but ask immediately when he saw his younger brother finishing his power.

"How does it feel?"

"My body feels warm and comfortable."

Confirming the suspicion in his heart, He Yingqiu forced himself to suppress his passionate emotions and nodded calmly.

"Okay, I'll be here in the morning. You can go back to your room and read a book first, and then continue practicing for an hour in the afternoon."

"Um."

Li Jie nodded obediently and walked to the study room with his short legs.

Books are definitely a must read.

If you have no strength and no corresponding state of mind, you will not be able to go far on the road of spiritual practice.

Li Jie understood this truth as early as the second world.

After Li Jie left, He Yingqiu walked out of the courtyard with a brisk pace.

Pushing open the courtyard door, one suddenly sees the green peaks, winding and majestic, stretching to the horizon. Looking around, the trails hidden between the peaks are like ribbons wrapped around the peaks.

"Hahaha!"

Looking down at the beautiful scenery in front of him, He Yingqiu couldn't hold back the joy in his chest anymore and laughed loudly.

After laughing for a while, He Yingqiu patted his head and suddenly remembered something.

'Oops, I have to prepare the medicinal meal for lunch.'

Before, he never thought that his little brother would be able to get started in just half a day, so he only prepared one portion of this medicinal meal.

Fortunately, he has been stocking up over the years, and there is no shortage of medicinal materials at home.

In the study room.

Li Jie was sitting on a chair, holding a book with a light blue cover in his hand, and was reading attentively. He read very slowly, and it took several minutes to turn a page.

This is a practice notebook, and the person who wrote this book is none other than the famous exorcist, Mao Xiaofang.

Although this book is named "Records of Practice", the content is not profound and is more like a popular science article.

One of them is divided into four major chapters. The first chapter talks about what Tao is, the second chapter talks about what Dharma is, the third chapter talks about what magic is, and the fourth chapter talks about the relationship between Tao, Dharma and magic.

Mao Xiaofang has a profound Taoist teaching. Under his high command, he can explain clearly what Tao is in thousands of words.

What is Tao?

Tao is the beginning of heaven and earth, the source of all things, one yin and one yang is Tao, the unity of heaven and man is Tao, the unity of all things is Tao, detachment is Tao, saving others is Tao, saving oneself is Tao, joining the world is Tao, and transcending the world

It's the Tao.

There are three thousand avenues in the world. Everyone has his own pursuit and everyone has his own way.

There are no two identical leaves in the world, just like there are a thousand Hamlets in the eyes of a thousand people, everyone's way is different.

The process of spiritual practice is the process of approaching the Tao.

Tao is a lifelong pursuit. It does not mean that whoever has a higher realm or has a bigger fist will have a higher Tao.

The Dharma is the means of seeking the Tao, the method of protecting the Tao, and the method of seeking the Tao.

All practices are collectively called Dharma, and Dharma is the foundation for those who seek the Tao.

Inducing the vital energy of heaven and earth into one's body is called Dharma.

Technique is the extension of the method and the specific means of using the method. The trending talisman is the technique, the Qimen Dunjia is the technique, the thunder method is the technique, and the footwork is the technique.

The essence of art is to use one's own method to mobilize the energy between heaven and earth.

Although this book does not record any cultivation methods or Tao protection and attack techniques, its effect is far more precious than other exercises and Tao techniques.

Analyzed from a philosophical perspective, this book is a methodology for understanding the world. It tells you what ‘Tao’ is, what the world is like, and how to correctly understand the world.

If it is the world of martial arts, then its function is equivalent to the general outline of the Nine Yin Manual. Without the general outline, it is easy to go crazy if you practice according to the exercises in the book.

After reading this book, Li Jie roughly understood the situation in the spiritual world.

Surprisingly, when practicing Taoism in this world, even those with advanced Taoism can hardly escape the suffering of reincarnation. This is the case of Taoist Master Mao himself.

Even if his Taoism is profound and he can travel through Yin and Yang alone, he cannot escape the fate of returning to Tao Mountain.

Six hundred years ago, the dragon veins in the world were cut off, and there was no longer an immortal in the world.

Nowadays, it has become almost impossible to seek immortality by cultivating Taoism in this world.

It is precisely for this reason that there are fewer and fewer Taoists in the world.

If you can’t live forever by practicing Taoism, who will continue to practice Taoism?

Is it to slay demons?

It's so tiring to slay demons. Not only do you have to run around, but your life is often in danger.

Not everyone has a selfless heart and takes the safety of the world as their own responsibility.

Therefore, the spiritual world has been increasingly declining over the years, especially with the emergence of heavy firepower weapons such as artillery, missiles, and nuclear bombs, this trend has become more obvious.

Of course, there are no benefits to practicing Taoism. Generally speaking, a Taoist person can live until the end of his life unless he encounters any accidents.

In addition, the various magical means possessed by ascetics are also unique.

Although thermal weapons can destroy most monsters, when it comes to ghosts, Taoism is far more effective than thermal weapons.

Boom!

Boom!

"Brother, it's time to eat."

Unconsciously, the time had already reached noon. If He Yingqiu hadn't knocked on the door, Li Jie would have still been immersed in the book written by Taoist Master Mao.

"Oh, here it comes."

Li Jie responded and closed the book.

At lunch, Li Jie once again 'enjoyed' the impact of the medicinal porridge on his taste buds. He didn't know what the formula of the medicinal porridge was, but it turned out to be so unpleasant that when he ate later, he couldn't taste it at all.

"Brother, after dinner, you can go to the courtyard and practice Hunyuan Zhuang for an hour to digest the medicine as soon as possible."

"OK."

In his eyes, one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon are really a short amount of time to practice.

Li Jie wished he could practice for a few more hours a day. Taoism was something he had never experienced before.

The sooner he completes his physical training, the sooner he can master those magical Taoist techniques.

Therefore, he was very motivated without He Yingqiu's supervision. Moreover, considering how dangerous this world was, if he entered the Tao earlier, he would have more strength to protect himself.

With his current small body, not to mention zombies, even ordinary imps can't deal with him.

Foundation building must be completed as soon as possible!

What if one day He Yingqiu goes out and is alone at home without any strength?
