224 Noisy New Year

Time flies by like a fleeting moment, and it will soon be New Year's Eve.

The Yan family had prepared New Year's goods early in the morning, and Wang Gang also reminded Yan's mother to prepare more vegetables for the New Year.

Yan’s mother didn’t think anything was wrong, so she bought more food during the Chinese New Year.

Wang Gang ordered a New Year's Eve dinner from a hotel two days ago and packed it directly to Cai Juying and Tian Yulan in the hospital, so that they could at least spend the New Year's Eve.

Yan Ziyou had already gone on winter vacation. Except for the necessary review of homework, Wang Gang stopped all his extracurricular tutoring and even canceled interest classes, so that he could enjoy the winter vacation in peace.

Compared with the Yan family's happy New Year celebrations, Nan Li's family's New Year's Eve was somewhat deserted, with only Nan Li, Xia Huanhuan and Zhao Na spending it.

Xia Junshan took his son Xia Chaochao back to his hometown three days ago and will not return until the third day of the new year.

Originally, Xia Huanhuan wanted to go together, as they happened to be visiting grandma.

But Nan Li felt that Xia Huanhuan's final exam results were too poor and she had to make up for it during the winter vacation, so she was not allowed to go out.

Mother and daughter had a cold war over this matter for several days, but Zhao Na tried to persuade her to no avail.

Xia Huanhuan's achievements deeply hurt Nan Li's self-esteem. In addition, before the Chinese New Year, Nan Li was demoted by the company and had her salary cut. You can imagine how she felt.

During the New Year's Eve dinner, Xia Huanhuan just hurriedly grabbed a few mouthfuls of rice, then returned to her room after saying she was full.

Nan Li wanted Xia Huanhuan to study again, but Zhao Na stopped her.

"You're celebrating the New Year, what else are you studying? Let Huanhuan take a rest!"

"Mom, do you know how low the enrollment rate in middle school is now? With Huanhuan's grades, it's a question of whether she can get into high school. If she continues to indulge like this, she will be finished!" Nan Li shouted.

"Huanhuan is only in the fifth grade of elementary school. It's still too early to take the high school entrance examination! Why push her so hard?" Zhao Na felt sorry for her granddaughter and advised Nan Li: "Huanhuan hasn't laughed for a long time."

Nan Li sighed and said, "I don't want to force Huanhuan, and I also want to give her a happy childhood, but her grades are really bad. If she doesn't catch up, she will fall even further behind."

Zhao Na said: "There is no rush to study at the moment. If you are celebrating the New Year, you won't be able to learn. It is better to spend the New Year happily and study hard after the New Year."

Nan Li said: "I really regret it now. I indulged Huanhuan too much and developed bad study habits in her. It is difficult to change now."

Zhao Na said nonchalantly: "It's not that serious. Huanhuan is still young and has a lot of time in the future."

Nan Li disagreed and said: "When you are trying to catch up, others are also running forward. Only if you work harder than others can you catch up with others or even overtake them."

"Our family's conditions are not bad, and Huanhuan is a girl, so there's no need to work so hard!" Zhao Na asked back.

"What are the conditions of our family? We are not the rich second generation like Yan Peng. There is no other way except studying hard." Nan Li said disapprovingly.

This demotion made Nan Li deeply aware of the cruelty of the workplace. Even a top student like her is like this. If Huan Huan is a bad student, it will be more difficult for her to enter the society in the future.

Zhao Na tried hard to persuade her to no avail, but Nan Li remained unmoved and knocked on Xia Huanhuan's door anyway, forcing her to study on New Year's Eve.

Xia Huanhuan cried very sadly, calling for her father.

Nan Li scolded her daughter impatiently, and Xia Huanhuan cried even harder.

Zhao Na really couldn't stand it and ran back to protect her granddaughter. Nan Li even scorned her mother.

"Mom, if you continue to protect Huanhuan like this, you will harm her for the rest of her life." Nan Li said angrily.

"It's Chinese New Year, do you insist on making the house uneasy and making the neighbors laugh?" Zhao Na was also a little angry.

Nan Li grabbed her daughter, brought Huanhuan to the ground, and said, "If you don't study today, you won't be able to sleep."

Xia Huanhuan sat on the ground and cried loudly, saying that her mother no longer loved her.

Nan Li was also very sad. She worried so much about her daughter, but what she got in return was everyone's complaints.

"Huanhuan, go home with grandma." Zhao Na was so angry that she hugged her granddaughter and ran out of the house.

"Mom, can you stop interfering in our family's affairs?" Nan Li shouted from behind.

Zhao Na turned around in disbelief and said, "Your family? What, we are two families now?"

Nan Li knew she had said something wrong and quickly said, "I didn't mean it that way."

"Humph, I think you just spoke your mind." Zhao Na hugged her granddaughter and walked out of Nanli's house without hesitation.

Nan Li chased her all the way, but no matter how much she apologized, it was useless. After Zhao Na returned to her old house, she closed the door and locked Nan Li out.

Nan Li knocked on the door for a long time, and the neighbors couldn't bear it and ran out.

"What are you doing during the Chinese New Year? Making so much noise!"

"Sorry for disturbing you, I will leave immediately."

Nan Li had no choice but to let Xia Huanhuan stay at Zhao Na's house for two days, and then apologize after her anger subsided.

But she never expected that before she came to the door again...

Nan Li watched TV and quickly called Zhao Na to ask her to take good care of her daughter Xia Huanhuan.

On the other side, Xia Junshan, who is in his hometown, is also trapped in the city and is not allowed to leave.

After the couple talked on the phone, they were both worried...

When Zhao Na returned home, she found that Huanhuan was missing!

Zhao Na was shocked and quickly called Nan Li and asked her to find someone. Zhao Na looked for her in the community herself.

Nan Li searched around but couldn't find Xia Huanhuan, so she could only call all her classmates to see if her daughter had gone to her classmates' houses.

When Wang Gang received the call from Nan Li, he knew that Xia Huanhuan had menarche.

In the TV series, it seems like he was found in a library.

Wang Gang did not hesitate and drove quickly to find someone. At this time, it started to rain heavily outside.

After arriving at the library, Wang Gang held an umbrella and walked around the library, finally finding a wet Xia Huanhuan under a curtain.

As soon as Wang ran over, Xia Huanhuan ran away with a look of horror.

"Uncle, don't come over..."

Xia Huanhuan was a child, and her whole body was soaked. She couldn't run past Wang Gang, but was quickly caught up.

"Huanhuan, don't run away. You are not infected with the virus. Come home with me quickly." Wang Gang pulled Xia Huanhuan and said.

Xia Huanhuan raised her head in confusion and asked, "I checked on the Internet and my symptoms are the same!"

Wang Gang couldn't laugh or cry and said: "You have been at home all the time and have never been in contact with anyone."

As he said this, Wang Gang took off his coat, wrapped it around Huanhuan, and then pulled her into the car.

Wang Gang turned the air conditioner in the car to maximum, and the heater blew onto Xia Huanhuan's face, so that her body did not tremble.

"I'll take you home right away." Wang Gang started the car and called Nan Li.

"I found Huanhuan, don't worry, I'm about to send her home." Wang Gang said to Nan Li.

"Thank you, Yan Peng, I'll go home right away and meet you." Nan Li shouted.

"Be careful on the road and call your mother. She must be in a hurry now." Wang Gang reminded.

"That's right, I'll call my mother right away." Nan Li said a little confused.

While talking, the car drove to the door of Nanli's house. There was no one on the road without a car, and the car was very easy to drive.

Wang Gang was not from Nanli's community, so Nanli ran over quickly, all wet.

Nan Li rushed into the car, saw Xia Huanhuan who was fine, and immediately hugged her into her arms.

"You kid, why are you running around? Don't you know your family is worried?" Nan Li scolded the kid, causing Xia Huanhuan to cry again.

Nan Li then remembered that she hadn't thanked Wang Gang yet.

"Thank you, Yan Peng, I lost Huanhuan and I really don't know what to do."

Wang Gang said: "It doesn't matter, take your children home quickly, you are all wet, be careful of catching a cold, it is not easy to go to the hospital now.

It's best if you go home and take some medicine to prevent it."

Nan Li held the child in her arms and knew that now was not the time to be pretentious. After thanking Wang Gang again, she took the child home.

Wang Gang shook his head and prepared to go home. After thinking about it, he changed direction and drove towards Zhang Xueer's house.

When they arrived at the gate of Zhang Xueer's community, they were still not allowed to enter, so Wang Gang called Zhang Xueer.

"Xue'er, please go to the gate of the community and I'll bring you a mask and disinfectant."

"Brother Yan, why are you here? It's so tense outside now." Zhang Xueer said in surprise.
