Chapter 55: Soraka

"Goodbye, little Diana. I hope that next time I see you, you will be on the path you want."

Reed didn't stay any longer. He waved to the infant Diana, and the little girl stretched out her hand hard, seeming to want to catch him, still yelling "babble" in her mouth.

It's like she doesn't want him to leave.

"Friend Yodel, if you have time, you can come and see this child. She seems to like you very much."

The old hunter hugged the struggling little Diana tightly in his arms, and then shouted to the back of Reed, who had continued to move forward, but Reed just waved his hand in response.

Saving little Diana on the way to the mountain was just an episode. Reed continued to move forward and went to his old friend's home. The mountains he passed just now did not actually belong to Mount Targon, but were just the foothills of the Targon Mountains.

Mount Targon is steeper and colder. The huge scorching sun above our heads seems to be fake. There is nothing we can do about it. After all, the cold here is due to the height.

Soon, Reed arrived at the westernmost peak of the Targon Mountains. This place was still on the way to the summit of Targon. To the east was the rugged mountainside flatland, and to the west was the bottomless mist under the steep cliff. A cold wind blew in.

It roars here all year round, blowing everything to the west.

On the edge of the cliff on the mountainside, Reid saw a yellow dome tent. The tent was not too small, and it was quite conspicuous on the cliff. Through the tent's window, you could see that the space inside was quite large.

wide.

"Reed, my friend, it's a pleasure to have you here."

The tent door was opened, and a woman came out with a warm smile on her face, obviously very happy.

This woman has silver-white hair neatly combed back. Her skin is a strange blue-purple color, somewhat similar to Ryze's, but much smoother than that bad old man. Her ears are pointed.

It is pointed and has a single horn standing up on its forehead.

Soraka was wearing her brown clothes. She did not hold the staff in her hand, but opened it happily, as if she wanted to give Reed a hug.

Her golden eyes seemed to be shining like stars, and they were full of joy at meeting her old friend again.

"Soraka, your place is really remote. There is no portal nearby. It would be very difficult to find you. Can't you find another place to live?"

Reed did not give Soraka a warm hug. After all, his height is here. No matter how tall he is among the yordles, he still only reaches Soraka's chest. After all, such a hug is not enough.

That's great, although Soraka doesn't seem to mind.

"It's a pity, but that's not possible because I enjoy living here and have no plans to move yet."

Soraka didn't hug Reed, but she didn't feel embarrassed either. She just smiled and took Reed into the tent.

In the center of Soraka's dome tent is a lit fire, and a stone pot is sitting on top of the fire. Inside the stone pot is the whitest snow, which has begun to melt. The tent is filled with dry tea leaves and a touch of mountain scent.

The smell was herbal, and Soraka seemed to be boiling water to make tea.

"You came just in time. I have just boiled water and am preparing to make tea."

After pulling Reed to sit down on the carpet in the tent, Soraka got up and fetched another cup. She was going to start preparing a cup of tea for Reed.

Soraka's tent has a lot of furniture inside, including tables, beds, chairs and a conspicuous shelf. These things are all made of wood, and it can be seen that the carpenter who made them is mediocre.

Reed knew that these things were all made by Soraka herself. She was obviously not very good at carpentry, because the shelf had some very slight bends, just like the other carpentry products in the tent.

But it's just a shelf. What's really important is what's on the shelf. There's a dazzling array of things on it, including souvenirs from all eras.

Among them are the wicker crown from Omeka Aran, the dog-shaped stone carving from the old Nasramei, and the oldest of them all, older than any earthly objects, a small golden acorn from a good friend in Bandle City.

.

"Don't worry, it will be fine soon."

Soraka was skillfully selecting tea leaves while talking to Reed. She obviously drank tea often, and her tea-making skills were much better than her carpentry skills.

"Your life is really leisurely now."

Reed sat on the carpet, watching Soraka busy, and couldn't help but sigh, but it seemed that Soraka had not moved here for long.

For thousands of years, the footsteps of this child of the stars have filtered through every inch of Runeterra, and her legendary story has been spread throughout every inch of Runeterra.

Some Freljord tribes still sing about a wanderer from afar, a horned healer who healed people of frostbite in the coldest winter.

Beneath the deep trenches of Zaun, there are stories of a lilac-skinned healer, a magical healer who would purify patients suffering from the poison of alchemical haze.

In the turbulent Ionia, the oldest Vastaya Xari myth records a prophet who can communicate directly with the stars in secret, and can also summon starlight to heal the wounded and burn those who have caused harm to the nascent land.

As a child of the stars in the heavens, a true star spirit who came to the mortal world, Soraka gave up her so-called "godhead" and came to Runeterra in the form of blood and flesh.

Although her fragile body was being burned by the powerful magic in her body every moment, she didn't care at all. As long as she could bring healing to others, the suffering she suffered was not worth it.

Mention.

Currently, Soraka has made her home in this place. She has not given up on continuing to heal people, but is watching over an isolated vastaya tribe and teaching them how to use healing magic.

She has long realized that it is difficult for her to heal more people by herself, so she needs more people to help her, and this isolated Vastaya tribe has a powerful talent for healing magic.

There are tribes that can learn her magic, which gives them hope and the hope of having more companions.

That's why she stayed here and taught them healing magic, hoping that these vastayas could be her help.
