Chapter 188 Xuanji’s last song, husband and wife reconciliation

Seeing that Su Hui stood up and beat "Little San'er" violently, the crowd immediately applauded and applauded.

Especially female friends, they were excited by Dou Tao's half-heartedness and rejoiced by Su Hui's courage!

Although three wives and four concubines were common in ancient times, more ordinary people still hope to live a single-minded life.

"This woman is just a coquettish fox, beat her to death!"

"Come on Su Hui! Beat her hard!!!"

"It's a pity that I'm not by your side, otherwise I would definitely help you beat up that couple of bitches!!"

[Dou Tao was very angry when he found out, even a little furious.

When he thought about it, which of the princes, generals and ministers didn't have three wives and four concubines? I just accepted Zhao Yangtang. You Su Hui thought this was weird and beat Zhao Yangtang in front of others, which ruined the Dou family's face.

How can you still be well-educated and knowledgeable? You really read the book into the dog's belly!

Thinking of this, Dou Tao's temper got worse, so he simply took Zhao Yangtang and eloped.

Su Hui also had a strong temper. In order to live with dignity, he actually cut off contact with Dou Tao.】

[A year later, Emperor Xuanzhao Fu Jian ordered Dou Tao to lead troops to attack Liangzhou in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.

Dou Tao was an old minister of the Jin Dynasty. He did not want to be an enemy of his homeland, so he explained to Fu Jian the reason for not fighting.

However, Fu Jian dismissed him from his post for "disobeying the imperial decree" and sent him to the quicksand land at the border of the western border. Dou Tao suddenly fell from the sky to the bottom of the cliff.]

[After Dou Tao left, Su Hui stayed at home alone for a while. Feeling depressed, she tidied up and asked her servants to put on the carriage and return to her parents' home, Sufang Village.

The journey home for the past month was full of ups and downs and displacement, which made Su Hui exhausted both mentally and physically.

After returning home, she heard from her father that Dou Tao had been dismissed from his post due to criminal investigation and was exiled to the border border. The news that her father had also been dismissed from his post and returned home was even more shocking. Her mood dropped to freezing point. She often wrote poems to herself in front of the empty room.

Facing the sun and moon, I write words speechlessly.

After Su Hui calmed down, she began to reflect on her previous mistakes. She couldn't help feeling regretful that she was jealous and petty, and she should not have been impulsive, showing off her attitude in front of her husband, losing her temper, and causing him to fall.

To this point.

After all, one day is a hundred days of kindness between husband and wife. As time went by, Su Hui missed her husband so much that she asked her parents to go to the border to look for her husband. Her parents and sister tried their best to dissuade her, which finally calmed down her unstable heart.

However, whenever it was late at night and everything was silent, she would look at the southern sky from a distance, hoping that the stars and moon would bring her thoughts to her husband Dou Tao.

She wanted to send the poems and letters she had written to her husband, but the three-, four-, five-, six- and seven-character quatrains formed a pile that was half a person tall at least.]

【Thinking over and over again, tossing and turning.

Finally, Su Hui used her extraordinary wisdom and courage to summarize, condense, refine, and purify all the poems she had written into 841 words. Then, she accurately sorted these 841 words and arranged them beautifully, reorganizing them into 20 words vertically and horizontally.

A nine-line text square.

It can be read sequentially, horizontally, diagonally, crosswise, left and right, up and down, alternately, and snaking. It can also read back one word, read one word again, read between sentences, and read in twists and turns.

These are the three-, four-, five-, six- and seven-character quatrains she wrote. Almost every poem highlights the artistic conception of "deep love, missing her husband, being in a secluded room, grieving and hurting herself".

Su Hui spent more than ten days writing these 841 characters neatly on a piece of fine linen paper with a brush.

Then she was filled with deep thoughts and spent all her time weaving these words on an eight-inch piece of brocade.

Su Hui named this brocade "Xuanji Picture" and sent it to the heartbroken Dou Tao.]

[Dou Tao originally thought that he was in trouble and had not heard from him for more than a year. His wife must have married someone else.

Unexpectedly, Su Hui was still waiting patiently at home, and even comforted him in her poems, asking him to "care about the small and the distant" and not to "discard the old" but "concentrate on the new."

Dou Tao cried while watching, and even broke down in tears. He regretted that he had not listened to the good advice of his beloved wife Su Hui, and he should not have taken the singer Zhao Yangtang into his house as a concubine.]

[Dou Tao found out in his conscience that he hated his previous misconduct, so he sent his mistress away and returned to Guanzhong. He also had a car and a car to prepare to welcome Su Hui to live in Xiangyang. From then on, the relationship between the couple was as good as ever, and they lived together happily.

However, life is often full of helplessness, and some bad things tend to happen one after another.】

[In the fourteenth year of Emperor Xuan Zhao’s founding (AD 378), the imperial court rehabilitated Dou Tao and appointed him as the vanguard of the former enemy.

The Su and Dou families also resumed their official posts with Dou Tao's comeback. Su Daozhi retired due to illness and all enjoyed full salary.

Although Dou Zhen has passed away, the two families are very unhappy because Dou Tao's younger brother Chengyin has received the title of senior. Su Hui and Dou Tao even look forward to their reunion day and night.

However, the war ahead was tense, and Dou Tao had finished cleaning up from the quicksand. He originally wanted to go home to reunite with his beloved wife before going to the front line, but unexpectedly, due to heavy military orders, Dou Tao had to go to the battlefield.

In fact, Dou Tao was also thinking in his mind that instead of just going to see his wife in such a depressed state, he might as well go to the front line to kill the enemy and perform meritorious service, so that he could be punished and wash away his bad past in front of his wife.

If he returned to his hometown with honor, Su Hui would definitely be overjoyed and would not blame Dou Tao. However, things went against expectations and Dou Tao was unfortunately killed in the battle to capture Jingling Tomb of the Eastern Jin Dynasty.

In order to commend Dou Tao for his achievements, Emperor Xuanzhao Fu Jian reinstated him and ordered his soldiers to transport his body back to Fufeng and bury him in Dou Tao's hometown, Laozhuang Village, Qinpo, Zhou Dynasty.

To this day, there are still nearly twenty families with the surname Dou living in this village, who are said to be descendants of Dou Tao. Every year during the Qingming Festival and Winter Solstice, the Dou surnamed here and the Dou surnamed from Nanxiangying in Fufeng County come to Dou Tao's tomb to pay homage.

Ancestor.

In front of the tomb, there is also the "Tomb of Former Qin Annan General Dou Tao" written by Bi Yuan, governor of Shaanxi in the 41st year of Qianlong's reign, which has become a key protection unit for later generations.]

"Oh, this Qianlong really 'leave his name' everywhere!"

"Yes, the emperor did not do well, but he did a lot of 'leaving his name'."

Qianlong was quite proud, and said triumphantly: "I have done more than this. And now, I will do more 'earth-shaking' achievements that will benefit all generations!"

Su Shangshen, just wait, I will definitely conquer the four seas, intimidate the five barbarians, and impress everyone like you!"

[The most important legacy left by Su Hui is undoubtedly the "Xuanji Picture".

"Xuanji Picture" is an eight-inch square handkerchief. The original picture is woven and embroidered with red, yellow, blue, white, black and purple silk threads. It contains 841 characters and is arranged in 29 rows.

The outer and inner tic-tac-toe patterns are red characters, and the four corners have six black characters vertically and horizontally.

The upper and lower sides are six vertically and horizontally sixteen, and the left and right sides are thirteen vertically and six horizontally, each with blue characters.

In the center of the tic-tac-toe, there are four vertically and horizontally on the upper and lower sides, five vertically and four horizontally on the left and right sides, and three vertical and horizontal three in the center of the well.

Su Hui created two "Xuanji Pictures" in total during his lifetime.

The first one was made when Dou Tao was exiled, and a seven-character poem is quoted here:

The couple parted after a long separation, with tears hanging down their pillows.

Thinking about how well I had my hair in the beginning, how could I have known that I was cold and lonely.

I told you my true love when I left, but I didn't expect to be back for a long time.

I was supposed to go with my husband on the same day, but who could I rely on when my parents-in-law were old?

I also miss the price of firewood and rice at home, and the lack of cold clothes on my body.

Wild pigeons can still find mates, and sunbirds call home early in the mountains.

Poor heaven and earth are the same as the sun and moon, why doesn't my husband come back early?

The brocade palindrome goes to the emperor to forgive the slave husband and the widowed wife as soon as possible.】
