Chapter Thirteen Killing

Li Yesheng's father died last year, and the family's land and property were all owned by his eldest son. He was really unhappy, so he quickly sold a piece of land for some money and ate happily in a small shop in the village.

After that, he spent the next three days with nothing to do, wandering around the village and the mountains, teasing and stealing even more unscrupulously. Except for his uncle Li Mutian, he didn't fear anyone in the entire Lijing Village.

I feel sorry for my younger brother Li Yesheng. He is obviously the same age as Li Xiangping. Li Xiangping has been studying with his husband in the village since he was a child, but he, Li Yesheng, is alone, hungry and cold.

The teenage boy had just lost his father, and he had to herd ducks and look after cows every day. If the Li Mutian family hadn't always helped him, he would have starved to death at home.

Li Yesheng didn't care about his life or death. When he was free, he was always itching in his heart, watching Li Changhu's family going in and out of the courtyard made of green bricks, and going crazy with jealousy.

"Everyone's surname is Li. Why are you my concubine? Why did you buy fertile farmland and build a high court! How can a wealthy family in a village learn how to build a high court? It seems like there are so many treasures in the court!"

He suddenly straightened up and suddenly remembered the night a few years ago, the nervous looks on several people's faces and the knife in Li Mutian's hand.

"Li Mutian has a baby..."

Li Yesheng held the dog's tail grass in his mouth and looked at Li Changhu who was smiling and talking to the tenants on the field, feeling secretly unhappy in his heart.

"Isn't it just a good pregnancy?"

After taking a nap under the shade of a tree, seeing the night getting darker, Li Yesheng spat out the foxtail grass in his mouth, rolled up his trouser legs, and sneaked quietly into the Li family courtyard.

After walking around the yard, Li Yesheng didn't see even a crack in the wall. He pulled on the wall a few times and found that it was flat and smooth, so it might be difficult to climb over it.

"Dog stuff."

Li Yesheng spat on the wall, worked hard, and ran towards the back hill.

"I don't believe you can put up a cover on the house."

The Dali Mountains are winding and stretching, and the back mountain in Lijing Village is just one of the peaks. The villagers were too lazy to name it, so they called it the back mountain.

Go over the back mountain and go south to Meichi Peak, and further south to the foot of the mountain is Jingyang Village. The two villages can be connected by taking the path between the mountains.

Li Yesheng pushed aside the bushes and climbed along the path for half a quarter of an hour. He found a place with a prominent view in the mountain and leaned down to look at the small courtyard at the bottom of the mountain.

He rubbed his eyes and saw a few vague figures shaking around, as if they were sitting cross-legged, and a figure was walking around holding a bluestone, not knowing what they were doing.

"I heard that there are stone locks in the east and west courtyards. Could it be that Li Mutian learned Lao Zi's martial arts tactics outside and secretly taught them to those guys?"

Li Yesheng raised his head and looked at the sky. The mountains were already dark, and the bright moon was blocked by dark clouds. The earth was pitch black, and even the figures of people were gradually blurred.

It was getting late at night, the high apes in the mountains howled, the jackals howled and the wolves howled. The cool wind passed under Li Yesheng's pants, so cold that he pinched his legs and sat down on the big rock.

"It's quite evil."

Li Yesheng sat for another quarter of an hour, his nose dripping with cold water, and he silently prepared the rumors in his mind that he was going to spread in the village:

What kind of treasure was handed down from his ancestors? He, Li Yesheng, also belonged to the Li family, so why couldn't he get a share? If it was a martial arts technique, he wouldn't be too lazy to practice it. If he sold it for money, he could live a comfortable life.

Looking down at the courtyard, there was no one left. Li Yesheng didn't care. He tightened his sleeves and stood up to go home.

"Oh my god!"

Unexpectedly, when he turned his head, he saw a figure standing quietly on the mountain path. He was so frightened that Li Yesheng urinated and crawled back behind the big bluestone.

He looked up tremblingly and saw that this man with delicate features and delicate features was looking at him with his eyebrows lowered. He turned out to be his cousin Li Xiangping.

Li Yesheng's eyes widened and he assumed a arrogant posture. He was about to get angry when he saw Li Xiangping holding a hand.

"What?"

A bright golden light appeared in front of his eyes, and there was a sharp pain in his throat. The world in front of him was spinning. Sometimes he saw the bright moon, and sometimes he saw the blurry small courtyard under the moonlight.

Li Yesheng's head suddenly flew up and landed heavily on the mountain path. His remaining consciousness looked at the cold smile on Li Xiangping's face with confusion, feeling that this cousin was stranger than ever before.

The headless corpse hiding behind the stone was bleeding from its neck. The hot blood dyed the bluestone, dirt road, and dead leaves red, and flowed all the way to Li Xiangping's feet.

Taking a step back in disgust, Li Xiangping watched Li Yesheng's body fall, thought for a while, and then cast a spell, summoning a golden light.

He knelt down and cut the body into large pieces according to appropriate proportions, so that the wild beasts that came at night could take them to different places in the mountains.

After doing all this, Li Xiangping stood up and looked around. There were already many green eyes in the shadows of the woods. Li Xiangping clapped his hands and whispered:

"Please use it with caution."

————

Li family.

Li Changhu woke up from trance, but he didn't see his two younger brothers. The huge backyard was so quiet that only the chirping of insects was left. He was confused and quickly stepped to the main courtyard, where he saw Li Tongya.

Looking at Li Tongya who was sitting at the wooden table and reading the formulas, Li Changhu asked with some confusion:

"Why don't you see Xiang Ping?"

"Wash your hands."

Li Tongya slowly rolled up the wooden slips, looked at his elder brother and said.

"Tongya, are you ready to condense the Xuanjing Wheel?" Li Changhu pressed his hands on the wooden table and asked with a little envy.

"In a few days, eighty-one rays of moonlight will be condensed. I can't wait as well as Chijing. I always feel that I have to wait a little longer and prepare for a few more days."

Li Tongya smiled and took a small piece of white cloth, wrapped it around the wooden slip several times, and tied a slip knot.

"Brother, who among the four of us do you think is most like his father?" Li Tongya suddenly spoke, staring at his eldest brother Li Changhu seriously.

"Of course it's you."

Li Changhu blurted out, then was stunned for a moment, found a place to sit down, and continued with a smile:

"I am too tolerant, Xiang Ping is too active, and Chi Jing is too shy. Only Li Tongya is calm and composed, most like him."

"Hahaha."

Li Tongya laughed a few times, waved his hands and said seriously:

"Brother, please stop flattering me. In my opinion, among our four brothers, Xiang Ping is the most like him."

"Why?" Li Changhu looked at his brother in confusion.

Li Tongya slowly opened his mouth and said:

"When I was playing in the courtyard when I was a child, my father once said: When I first killed someone, my ears were ringing and my head was hot, I was unable to advance or retreat, I was trembling and couldn't help myself, or I was roaring and I didn't know what the world was."

"Li Mutian was the only one who killed people at first, put away his knife, drank wine, and talked and laughed freely. After he finished speaking, he burst into laughter and was very proud."

"Xiang Ping is most like his father."

Li Tongya lowered his voice and whispered in Li Changhu's ear:

"Because he is cruel enough."
