Chapter 2126 Hiding in the Cellar

Li Xuan walked quietly in the manor, and a small house appeared in front of him.

Further away is a row of luxurious country villas, which should be the residence of the owner of the manor.

"I heard from Zhao Rui that the owner of the manor here is called Drunkard, and he is a very young killer. If he joins forces with Lang Ya, I would have to be more careful." Li Xuan thought to himself.

But the first thing he had to do was to determine where Langya was. If Langya didn't escape here, why would he bother to fight against the drunkard.

Li Xuan quietly sneaked outside the hut and found that there was still a light on inside. It seemed that this was where the night watchman lived.

Li Xuan picked up a stone and threw it gently toward the window. The crisp "pop" sound was heard very clearly in the dark night.

The door soon opened with a creak, and a night watchman came out with a lantern, looking around suspiciously.

"It must be that damn field mouse again..." The night watchman spat without seeing half of the shadow, and returned to the hut angrily.

Just as he closed the door, his neck was immediately pinched by a strong hand, making him almost breathless.

"Let me ask you, have any strangers come to the manor in the past two days?" It was Li Xuan who took action. He asked the night watchman with a smile that made people shudder.

The night watchman opened his eyes in horror and stammered: "I..."

He wanted to say "I don't know", but there was a devilish coldness in Li Xuan's smile, which made him change his mind as soon as the words came to his lips.

"A stranger came here, dressed in black, and was injured." The night watchman confessed honestly.

"You should know where he is, right?" Li Xuan asked again.

"He has been hiding in the secret room under the wine cellar." Now that he had told the truth, the night watchman no longer dared to hide it.

"Very well, spare your life and go to sleep." Li Xuan asked clearly where the entrance to the wine cellar was, then pinched the night watchman on the back of his neck and knocked him unconscious.

Li Xuan found a night watchman's clothes, put on them, put on the lantern, walked out of the hut and headed straight for the entrance of the wine cellar.

The wine cellar of the manor contains many old wines that are quite expensive, so the entrance to the wine cellar is not only hidden, but also has many people guarding it to prevent thieves.

Zhang Long and Zhao Hu are known as the two evil spirits of the dark wind. They are the right-hand assistants of drunkards. They are usually the guards of the manor, and occasionally they will appear as killers and do some murderous and arsonous things.

Today happened to be their turn to watch the night. The two of them lit a lantern and played cards while drinking. Zhao Hu was very lucky and soon won a dozen silver ingots. Zhang Long was left scratching his head at the loss, but he had bad luck and lost consecutive battles.

, and soon lost everything.

"No more playing." Seeing that the last silver ingot was won by Zhao Hu, Zhang Long threw away his cards and stood up angrily.

"Where are you going?" Zhao Hu grabbed all the silver ingots in his hand with a smile on his face. When he saw Zhang Long walking out, he couldn't help but ask.

"I'm going to pee. This bad luck must have been suppressed." Zhang Long turned a corner in great annoyance.

"Clatter..." The sound of running water sounded clearly in the night. Zhao Hu counted the silver ingots proudly, thinking about going to the town to buy a piece of jewelry tomorrow and coaxing the pretty maid in the manor to bed.

At some point, the sound of running water stopped, but Zhang Long never came back.

Zhao Hu frowned and followed.

"Hey, you couldn't even lift your pants because you lost, right?" Zhao Hu joked and turned around.

Before he could finish his words, Li Xuan's fist hit him. Although Zhao Hu moved nimbly and stepped back in time, the fist still hit him in the face.

Zhao Hu groaned and fell to the ground and passed out. Li Xuan leaned down and took off the key from his waist, then dragged Zhao Hu and Zhang Long to a dark place and tied them together before walking towards the entrance of the wine cellar.

The entrance to the wine cellar is located in a semi-underground woodshed. If the night watchman hadn't pointed it out, Li Xuan might have had to search for it for a while.

He used the key to open the iron lock at the entrance, and a downward staircase appeared in front of him.

There were thick walls made of stone on both sides of the stairs, and every few steps there was a sunken hole in the wall, with flickering oil lamps burning inside.

Li Xuan walked down the stairs, keeping vigilance and moving forward step by step. Soon, another large iron gate appeared in front of him.

There were two more guards behind the iron gate. They were drowsy. When they heard footsteps, one of them raised his head and asked, "Who is it?"

"It's me." Li Xuan said, and before he could react, he rushed to the iron door, grabbed the iron lock, and immediately melted the lock.

The guard saw a flash of fire in front of his eyes, and he opened his mouth in surprise and was about to scream. Li Xuan raised his hand, and the spiritual arrow penetrated from his mouth, and a blood arrow shot up.

The other guard then raised his head, but before he could figure out what was happening, the lantern in Li Xuan's hand hit him on the head, knocking out his brains.

Inside the iron gate were huge wooden wine barrels one after another. Li Xuan counted them briefly and found that there were thousands of them. Such a large wine cellar was like a maze, and he didn’t know where the entrance to the secret room was.

Li Xuan felt a little regretful. If he had known he would be left alive, he wouldn't have had to look around like a headless fly.

He was looking for the entrance to the secret room when a bell suddenly rang in his ears.

Li Xuan looked for the sound and found a secret door near the iron gate, from which the ringing sound came.

He opened the secret door and saw a bell swinging constantly, and there was a handle next to the bell.

Li Xuan grabbed the handle and broke it off, and there was a "click-click" sound behind him. He looked back and saw that a piece of the wall without any gaps was dented, revealing a small door for one person to enter and exit.

"It's really hidden. If it weren't for luck, I might not be able to find it overnight." Li Xuan secretly called it a fluke.

He knew that behind this door must be the hiding place of Wolf Fang, so he prepared his spiritual power first, and then walked in quietly.

After the small door was a short corridor with an iron door at the end. Before Li Xuan could reach the iron door, he heard the violent voice of Langya.

"Didn't that guy, the drunkard, say he would bring me human flesh? Why haven't you come yet? If you make me anxious, I will eat you all!"

Li Xuan snorted coldly, "Langya is so crazy that he actually likes to eat human flesh. Does this kind of monster-human hybrid like to eat people?"

"Hurry up and tell the drunkard!" Langya cursed again, probably after hearing Li Xuan's footsteps.

Li Xuan raised his hand coldly, aimed at the iron door, and said: "It has been delivered, please open the door."

"Really? Why don't I smell blood? Don't lie to me with the frozen ones." Langya's excited voice came from behind the iron door.

With a "bang" sound, the iron door opened. Li Xuan's fingertips flashed, and the spiritual arrows shot out. The person who opened the door was riddled with holes.

"Ah!" A woman screamed, and the man fell down, but it was not Langya.
