Chapter 127 Gu Bandits

Because of the low air pressure at home, Ding Chen wanted to care about Gu Xingping but didn't dare to say anything. He could only send some delicious food in different ways every day.

A week later it was the day when the school would hand out results. Gu Xingping got up early in the morning with two big dark circles under her eyes. She reluctantly took a bite of breakfast and talked to Chen Lishu before going to school to wait for her results.

In the scorching heat of July, the huge sun above our heads made everything in front of us distorted.

Gu Xingping stared at the big list in front of her for several minutes before walking out of the campus in a daze.

As soon as I reached the school gate, I looked up and saw Ding Chen standing under a big tree.

Gu Xingping rolled her eyes, with a sly smile on her lips. She walked quietly around Ding Chen, patted him on the shoulder and said loudly: "Why are you here if you don't go to work?"

Ding Chen turned around and saw a smile on her face: "It's just for developing photos. It doesn't matter if it's earlier or later."

After Ding Chen finished speaking, he carefully observed her expression and then asked cautiously: "How are the results?"

The corners of Gu Xingping's mouth dropped, but she pretended to be relaxed and said: "That's it."

Ding Chen guessed that he might not have done well in the exam, and hurriedly comforted him: "If you didn't pass, then you didn't pass. You see, I'm still a high school graduate. I'm also developing photos for people. In fact, they are doing the same thing. I think you and Chen

It would be nice to make clothes with my sister, who earns much more than my salary."

"Haha." Gu Xingping looked at him and suddenly raised the corners of her mouth and smiled.

Accompanied by the girl's silver bell-like laughter, Ding Chen heard her say: "You fool, I lied to you. This time I performed exceptionally and passed the 20th grade exam, and passed the first middle school!"

No. 1 Middle School? Isn’t that the school where his parents teach?

Ding Chen's eyes suddenly lit up: "Really?"

Seeing his excited expression, Gu Xingping asked puzzledly: "Why do I think you are happier than me?"

Ding Chen's face turned slightly red and he scratched his head in embarrassment: "I'm happy for you."

"Come on, let's go back quickly. I want to tell my third sister-in-law the good news as soon as possible."

"Hey." Ding Chen responded and walked quickly home with her.

When Chen Lishu heard that Gu Xingping was admitted to No. 1 Middle School, she breathed a sigh of relief and said happily: "This is really great. I'm going to call your third brother and tell him the good news. Then we will go back to the village in the afternoon."

Chen Lishu said and walked out.

"Third sister-in-law, I'll go with you." Gu Xingping raised her feet and followed her out.

When Ding Chen saw her leaving, he hurriedly said, "It's time for me to go back to work."

The three of them walked out of the courtyard and separated at the intersection. Ding Chen went to work, while Chen Lishu and Gu Xingping went to call Gu Xingdong.

The phone rang several times, and just when Chen Lishu thought he was busy and was about to hang up, a deep and magnetic voice came from the other end of the phone: "Who is this?"

Hearing the familiar voice, Chen Lishu tightened the microphone: "It's me."

Looking at the anxious Gu Xingping aside, Chen Lishu said hurriedly: "Xingdong, I have something to tell you." After that, she handed the microphone in her hand to Gu Xingping.

"Hey, Third Brother, let me tell you some good news. I have been admitted to high school!" Gu Xingping said impatiently after taking the phone.

"Third brother, third sister-in-law is taking me to Shanghai and Beijing to reward me for passing high school." Hearing Gu Xingdong's praise, Gu Xingping couldn't help but show off with the corners of her mouth raised.

When Gu Xingdong heard that the two of them were going to such a far place, his eyebrows suddenly curled up with the Chinese character Sichuan: "Xingping, give your third sister-in-law the phone number."

Gu Xingping's heart skipped a beat when she heard that the voice on the other end of the phone was wrong. She handed the phone to Chen Lishu and whispered to her, "My third brother seems to be unhappy."

Gu Xingping felt a little regretful as she said this. If she had known earlier, she would not have spoken so quickly. If her third brother refused to let her go, her long-cherished plan would have been ruined.

"Hey, Xingdong."

Gu Xingdong heard the soft voice on the other end and pressed his eyebrows twice with his slender fingers. After all, he didn't want to scold him: "Is it okay to go to such a far place?"

"No problem. Uncle Ding and Aunt Ding have been there before. I've made inquiries about them. Besides, my little sister and I are here."

Gu Xingdong was silent for a while and asked, "When are you leaving?"

"The day after tomorrow." I have to go back to the village in the afternoon to tell my family that I need to issue a certificate. I will prepare it tomorrow, but it still has to be the day after tomorrow.

"Then take the bus that passes by the provincial capital at noon. I'll send you something."

Chen Lishu was curious: "What to give?"

"Ha." Gu Xingdong chuckled, and said calmly, "You'll know when the time comes."

Chen Lishu was curious, but the other party refused to say anything, so she had no choice but to hang up the phone unwillingly.

After hanging up the phone, Gu Xingdong stood up and left the office. As soon as he reached the stairs, he bumped into Wu Zheng coming up from downstairs. Gu Xingdong immediately smiled at him kindly: "Old Wu, what are you doing?"

Wu Zheng was horrified by his smile, and he swallowed hard with his dry throat: "Send something to Old Wei."

Gu Xingdong nodded, walked two steps down and stood on the same step as him, and put his arms around his shoulders familiarly: "There is no rush to deliver the things. Come on, go to my room. I have something to discuss with you."

Wu Zheng's temples were beating: "If you have anything to do, just tell me here."

Gu Xingdong looked at him and narrowed his eyes slightly and said in a dangerous voice: "Repeat."

Wu Zheng blinked twice, and finally had no choice but to follow him into the office door.

"Old Wu, what's wrong with you? Why do you look like an eggplant beaten by frost?"

Zhou Liang bumped into Wu Zheng who had just come out of the office building. Seeing his droopy look, he couldn't help but come over and tease him.

"Don't mention it."

Wu Zheng sighed and began to complain to Zhou Liang endlessly. Finally, he asked unwillingly: "How can you say there is such a thing like him? He is no different from a bandit!"

Zhou Liang patted his shoulder sympathetically: "You should have been tougher from the beginning."

Wu Zheng felt aggrieved: "I'm so hard! I've never been harder than him."

Zhou Liang: "..."

"What are you two talking about?" The two of them were talking. Gu Xingdong came from behind with a smile. Wu Zheng tensed up and said with a dry smile: "No, I didn't say anything."

Gu Xingdong didn't ask further questions and looked at Zhou Liang, as if a butcher was watching the lamb waiting to be slaughtered, weighing where to start.

"Lao Zhou, I want to discuss something with you."

When Wu Zheng heard what he said, he immediately looked at Zhou Liang sympathetically, and for some reason he felt a sense of sympathy.

Zhou Liang asked directly: "Want a ticket?"

In fact, he had already thought about it, it was not the best. If Gu Xingdong said yes, then he would just say no.

Gu Xingdong stretched out his long arms and put his arms around his neck: "Look, who do you think your brother is?"

Zhou Liang's tense nerves relaxed for a moment, and then Gu Xingdong's words made him feel a lump in his chest, unable to get up or down.

"Didn't you lose the last time we played? Now I happen to be free and we can go out and compete again. Besides, I'm short of tickets. How about one for each ring?"
