In order to raise funds for Easter activities, I went to the castle where Bruce lived today.
When I arrived, it was Bruce's wife who came out and opened the door for me.
She told me that she was happy to see me come because she happened to make a very delicious apple pie.
She said Bruce would never appreciate this kind of delicacy.
When I first heard her say this, I felt a little angry.
No wonder Bruce often visits me with apple pie, turning out to be a disgusting food processing station.
I'm angry, I'm really angry.
So much so that when I had afternoon tea with Bruce today, I never gave him a good look.
It wasn't until I tripled the estimated sponsorship funds on the spot that I felt a little better when I saw Bruce looking a little embarrassed but having to agree.

Today is Easter, and I used the money I took from Bruce to hold an unprecedented grand event in the silent town.
Almost everyone in the town came to participate in the event I held.
As the largest sponsor of this event, Bruce of course also brought his wife and children to participate in the event.
As the host, I gave each of them an Easter egg and invited them to participate in the Easter egg rolling activity.
We came to the mound together and rolled the Easter eggs down from it.
Watching the Easter eggs rolling on the land, we are as happy as seeing the devil has been punished.
This event took a lot of effort from me, so I prayed that nothing unexpected would happen..
But towards the end of the event, a small episode occurred.
At first, Bruce said he couldn't find Buzz.
Later, we found him among a group of children.
But when we found him, he was already fighting with a kid named Austin, and they were inseparable.
Bruce and I finally managed to pull them apart.
When I asked about the reason for the fight, I didn't expect that it was just because of a badge Buzz wore on his chest.
I really don't understand something.
Have the tastes of today's children deteriorated to this extent?
What's so exciting about an old badge?
I was puzzled and tried to find the real reason for the fight in them.
Austin said that he just liked the badge and wanted to take a look, but Buz hit him.
However, Buzz said that Austin was unreasonable and wanted to steal his badge as soon as they met.
As I get older, I can't tell which of the two children is more reasonable.
It's definitely wrong to fight anyway.
If that's the case, let's just punish them both to sweep the streets together.
Fortunately, this little episode is not a big surprise.
Overall, this Easter event was very successful.

Tomorrow is Jim's wedding day.
He has been inviting me to be a witness at their wedding since a long time ago.
I was really busy at work, and I actually wanted to reject him at first.
However, every time Jim asked me for a request, his eyes were so sincere that I really couldn't say no to him.
When I think back to my wedding day, it feels like it happened a lifetime ago.
At that time, if I could know that my wife could only accompany me for 30 years, then I should cherish every day more.
But there is no regret medicine in this world.
Fortunately, everything always goes round and round.
Some people have already completed this journey, while others are just beginning to embark on it.
In my wedding speech, I wrote down my thoughts and feelings:
Never feel that there is still a long time in the future, and don't take everything you get in front of you for granted, so that you will cherish everything in front of you more.
I don't know if Jim can understand it.
I can only hope he can understand it.

Today is Christmas Eve, a day when you should be reunited with your family.
But whenever there is a holiday, there are actually more things that I need to handle in the quiet town than usual.
I locked myself in the office and buried myself in a pile of documents. I almost forgot that I had to go home for dinner tonight.
But then again, although my behavior is wrong, my son actually sent my little granddaughter to call me home for dinner in a snowy day. Is this behavior more shameful?
He figured out my weaknesses.
Knowing that once my little granddaughter takes action, I will definitely not dare to stay in the office for a moment.

Buzz and Austin finally shook hands and made peace after being fined by me for cleaning the streets 37 times.
In the past three years, the battle for that badge has finally come to an end.
I am deeply gratified.
And I sincerely hope that these young men will be less able to embarrass an old man like me in the future.
Cloudy Sunday, September 23, 2018
Time makes people grow old, and in the blink of an eye, those naughty and troublesome children seem to have grown up.
Austin once had a "glorious" record of cleaning the streets 107 times, making him the most trouble-making kid in my mind.
Now he has finally calmed down and opened a bakery in a small town.
On the day of the opening, Buzz, Kevin, and a round-faced boy named Barry all went to congratulate him.
These children are often punished by me to sweep the streets because of fights.
Unexpectedly, we have become good friends now.
This reminds me of Bruce. I remember when he first moved to Quiet Town, I didn't like him too.
Having said that, I suddenly remembered that Bruce hadn't given me an apple pie for a long time...
Damn it, is it possible that he likes the taste now and will never bring it to me again?

My little granddaughter is now grown up and rebellious. She doesn’t want her grandfather anymore?
Far away Eastern countries are celebrating the Chinese Valentine's Day today. What does this have to do with us?
Why does the east wind blow to us?
No, no, I can't think straight. I'm going to go to the storage room to find my baseball bat.
I want to see which brat actually kidnapped my little granddaughter with such sweet talk.
I changed several positions in my home.
I moved to the window.
Just so that I can see my little granddaughter faster when she comes back.
I waited by the window for a long time, and while waiting, I had almost rehearsed the process of beating up the brat hundreds of times in my mind.
However, when I stood by the window and saw my little granddaughter bouncing back next to a boy, the anger I felt just now seemed to have disappeared quietly.
I smiled bitterly.
Forget it, she is so happy, I shouldn't be a disappointing grandpa.
I glanced out the window and closed the window silently.
He whispered:
Happy Chinese Valentine's Day.
(I’m so angry that I didn’t post this chapter in time for the Chinese Valentine’s Day!)
