Chapter 66 Test Results

At 16:15 in the afternoon, after the first-year freshmen lined up on court B, several coaches took out measuring tapes to measure a pitching tape more than 100 meters long and one meter wide, and asked them to pitch one by one.

Most people's throwing distance is between 70m and 80m, and some have thrown 90 meters. For example, Kijima Mio and Kawashima Kengo, Kawakami Kenshi even threw 100m away, and the throwing distance is more than 100m.

There were several. Kimura Takuya threw three times, and the longest throw was 109 meters. Several coaches showed satisfied expressions.

Kurosaki, who is also a pitcher in the fielding position he hopes to occupy, made two high throws, the first time was 106 meters, and the second time was 110.5 meters.

The first-year students who were watching around started talking quietly, obviously a little surprised by this data.

After Kurosaki Ichigao was Naoya Kuraza. He picked up the baseball and threw it gently in his hand a few times. After standing still, he waved his arm vigorously and threw the baseball in his hand. The white ball shot straight out.

, flew far away, passed the 100-meter mark on the pitching belt for a distance, and then fell to the ground due to lack of stamina.

"113 meters." The coach responsible for recording the data glanced at the measuring tape on the ground and reported the farthest throwing distance so far.

Miyuki Kazuya, who was lined up behind Naoya Kuraza, stepped forward and took out a baseball from the hoop, and stood on the throwing area. He waved his right arm vigorously, and the baseball flew straight into the distance, and soon it flew away.

After passing the 100-meter mark, it flew some distance before landing on the ground and making a shallow pit.

"113.5 meters." The coach reported the farthest throwing distance in this freshman test.

The students who were watching all sighed that Kazuya Miyuki and Naoya Kuraza were worthy of being famous catchers who had achieved outstanding results in junior high school.

After all the freshmen had finished shooting, Director Kataoka asked Nozomi Yagyu to take the long shot.

"call out!"

Nozomi Yagyu stood on the throwing area, stepped forward with his legs raised, and threw the ball hard with his right hand. Due to the excessive speed of the ball, the baseball thrown by Nozomi Yagyu shot straight forward like a white beam of light.

"120 meters." The coach reported a number that surprised all the freshmen. People couldn't help but wonder how Yagyu Nozomi had such explosive power at a height of only 1.7 meters.

There was not much time left for them to be surprised. The coaches immediately divided them into several teams and began subsequent running tests.

Kazuya Miyuki, Yoichi Kuramochi and Naoya Kuramochi were in the same group. When the coach fired the starting gun, everyone rushed forward at the same time, and they covered a distance of thirty meters in an instant.

The end.

Kuramochi Yoichi reached the finish line first. Miyuki Kazuya and Zangzao Naoya delayed him by nearly two meters and then reached the finish line.

During the 50-meter run, Kuramochi Yoichi was the fastest to reach the finish line. Naoya Kuraza ran about half a meter ahead of Miyuki Kazuya, who was also 1,45 meters behind Kuramochi Yoichi who was in the front.

Needless to say, Kuramochi Yoichi was the fastest in the 100-meter race, but Miyukiichi surpassed Naoya Kuraza in the final sprint and crossed the finish line first.

In the subsequent batting test, both Kimura Takuya and Kurosaki Kazutaka's performance could only be regarded as mid-range. Although both of them hit the three-time machine serve, Kimura Takuya only hit one infield short hit and one outfield long hit.

In playing, Kurosaki Kazdaka had two infield bunts; in real pitching, Kimura Takuya and Kurosaki Kazdaka both had two infield bunts.

Comparatively speaking, as a catcher, Naoya Kuraza has the strongest hitting power among them. All three of his machine serves were long hits in the outfield. In contrast, Miyukiichi also had one short hit in the infield and two long hits in the outfield;

Facing real pitching, Zangza still hit three outfield hits, while Miyukiichi also hit one infield bunt and one outfield hit.

In addition to Miyuki Kazuya and the four of them, people like Aso Takashi, Maezono Kenta, Seki Naomichi and Hiragasa Shoji also have good striking skills.

After the basic test, the coach once again divided the first-year students into teams according to the defensive positions they wanted to play, and then led them to their desired defensive positions for testing.

Although the entrance test for freshmen has not yet ended, the coaches already feel confident looking at the rosters in their hands.

Sure enough, with Qingdao entering the Spring Koshien after six years, their enrollment has also ushered in a bumper harvest this year.

After the three rounds of the spring Tokyo High School Field Football Tournament, Director Kataoka and everyone in the first army returned to school at around 16:00 p.m.

After the post-game summary, everyone in the First Army disbanded on the spot, and Supervisor Kataoka returned to his office, waiting for the results of the new students' entrance test to be released.

At 18:30 in the afternoon, Supervisor Kataoka picked up the results of the entrance test for new students compiled by the coach and looked through them. He was very satisfied with this year's enrollment situation.

Next to them, Minister Ota and Rei Takashima had already seen the freshmen's transcripts before. Neither of them spoke. It was not until Director Kataoka turned over the freshmen's transcripts that Minister Ota considered it for a moment before speaking:

"This year... our recruitment situation is very good. We have recruited two pretty good pitchers and catchers respectively. I think Miyuki, Kurosaki and Kurosaki can directly join the first army..."

Miyuki Kazuya and Kuraza Naoya were both recruited by Rei Takashima. Miyuki Kazuya, who was born in the Edogawa Little League, also chose Aomichi because of Chris; Kuraza Naoya, who was born in the Yokosuka Neptune Youth Baseball Team in Kanagawa

Because he suffered a broken bone in last year's Kanto Tournament, no local strong private school was willing to recruit him. After Takashima Rei got the news and invited him, he delayed for a while and won the autumn Tokyo Metropolitan Tournament in Aomichi.

I only agreed to come to Qingdao after entering Koshien in spring.

"Before the spring Kanto Conference, I will not consider selecting new members of the First Army from among the first-year freshmen. All freshmen must start with basic training."

Supervisor Kataoka directly rejected Minister Ohta's suggestion. As a supervisor, he naturally knew that the current First Army was most lacking in catchers and pitchers, but he also knew that the freshmen's current physical fitness would not be able to keep up with the intensity of First Army training.

, if you don’t give them a period of buffering, it will only encourage the growth of the company and destroy all the good ones that were finally recruited.

In this way, the first-year students began a three-week, seemingly endless run of running and basic intensive training.

The daily schedule consists of running, breakfast, class, lunch break, class, running, basic exercises, dinner, and running. Not to mention touching a baseball, the first-year students don’t even have the opportunity to practice swinging the bat.

Of course, when the second and third grade seniors go out to participate in competitions, the Qingdao Baseball Club will also organize members of the second and third armies to cheer for the members of the first army.

Standing in the cheering seats in the stands, because the seniors on the field hit the baseballs flying from the pitcher's mound time and again in the batter's box, and on the field because of chasing or flying or rolling baseballs, and then, they kept running.

With his figure, the first-year students can feel that their emotions are also boiling with the seniors on the court.
