Chapter 45 Lonely Here, Poetry

Yang Xuan returned home and sat on the threshold in a daze.

"Something was wrong after Lang Jun came back." Cao Ying frowned, "The key is that Lang Jun didn't say anything."

"Is it useful? Can you help him?" Yi Niang said angrily, "Wait."

She suddenly raised her head and raised Cao Ying's hand beside her.

The falcon landed on Cao Ying's arm like lightning, and its sharp claws made him groan miserably. He gritted his teeth and said, "That's all, a gentleman is not as knowledgeable as a woman!"

Yi Niang took out the letter and looked down at it.

"What did you say?" Cao Ying also wanted to take a peek.

Yi Niang took the paper and walked over slowly.

"Mr. Lang."

Yang Xuan raised his head and said, "Today I went to see Mr. Yan off. Many people went there. The people in Chang'an City were all grateful to him for mentioning him. But I am a little confused. Why can't such a good man and official die a good death?"

Yi Niang lowered her head, "Lang Jun, it's hard to be a good person in this world..."

"Yeah!" Yang Xuan was shocked by that scene today, but the more it happened, the more uncomfortable he felt, "I feel like I'm tied up and can't move."

Cao Ying stepped forward. He felt a little pity for the young man in front of him... A fifteen-year-old boy with a somewhat innocent temperament must shoulder a heavy responsibility. Ordinary people would have been crushed long ago.

"Lang Jun, those restraints..."

He is considering his words and sentences.

Yang Xuan nodded, "I know that those constraints come from my understanding of the world, and these perceptions will in turn restrain me."

"I want to break free from these invisible ropes, but I don't know how to do it..."

This was the first time he showed confusion.

But he soon put away his weakness. During those years in the mountains, if he had been weaker, he would have died at the claws of wild beasts and turned into dung in Dongyu Mountain.

"Mr. Lang, Yang Lue has sent a letter with your Majesty's message." Yi Niang handed over the note.

Yang Xuan looked at the two people in front of him and said, "Read it."

They've all been seen, and they're all secretive just to make people laugh.

Cao Ying was a little impatient.

Yi Niang took the note and read softly: "My son..."

Yang Xuan squinted his eyes, feeling for the first time his father's attitude towards him.

Will it encourage me to rebel? Or will it appease me to be an ordinary person?

"My son, this world is dangerous. I would rather be cunning and ruthless than kind."

Yang Xuan sat there for a long time and waved his hands gently.

Cao Ying and the two men retreated.

Yang Xuan didn't eat lunch, so he sat on the threshold and looked at the ground quietly.

Until dinner, Yi Niang was worried, so she came to persuade her again.

"Mr. Sir, there are many things that you should be more open-minded about."

Yang Xuan just waved his hand gently.

The sun sets, the moon rises, and the sky is filled with stars.

The figure had been sitting there, motionless.

Cao Ying and Yiniang also stood under the tree.

In the front yard, the old thief slept soundly.

Cack!

The rooster sang loudly, causing the two people under the tree to tremble.

"Go back and rest."

Yang Xuan stood in front with his hands behind his hands.

"Lang Jun." Yi Niang was worried to death, "If it doesn't work, then I will rebel. No, I won't revolt. I will accompany Lang Jun to Yuanzhou, marry him a wife, and give birth to a lot of children. I will be slave to Lang Jun."

Take care of the kids, ah!”

Yang Xuan looked at her, his eyes brighter than ever before. He stretched out his hand, pulled Yi Niang into his arms, and whispered in her ear: "Thank you."

Yi Niang's body stiffened, and then she hugged Yang Xuan's waist and choked with sobs: "I'm afraid that Mr. Lang will feel uncomfortable in his heart."

"A gentleman should not hug a woman at will..." Cao Ying muttered, reaching out to wipe away her tears.

Yang Xuan let go of his hand and said with a smile: "I just untied the rope that tied myself up."

When he was ten years old, he went hunting in the mountains to survive. The experience of those five years was more thrilling than the fifty years of ordinary people. All kinds of ferocious beasts in the mountains, all kinds of cold looks and harsh treatment at home. If he was a pure and kind man, he would have died long ago.

None left.

"That's all the weakness and compromise caused by your desire for family affection."

Suzaku's voice came to my ears.

Yang Xuan took a deep breath, "It's great to be alive!"

Before last night, he was still the young man from Xiaohe Village. After witnessing the end of Yancheng, he woke up a little. And the father's last words made him sober up like an enlightenment. All the past events were vivid in his mind.

The eye was immediately thrown away.

A kind of happiness of rebirth made him unable to help but greedily breathe the air. Looking at everything familiar in front of him, he felt so fresh.

"Congratulations." Suzaku said.

While having breakfast, Cao Ying said: "Mr. Lang, do you want someone to keep an eye on Yuanzhou Ramen?"

"No need." Yang Xuan shook his head.

Cao Ying felt that Yang Xuan seemed to have something extra and something missing, but she couldn't explain clearly. "I'm just afraid that those two women swallowed the money secretly."

Yang Xuan put down his chopsticks, "If I can make one Yuanzhou Ramen, I can make ten hundred. If anyone leaves at this time, I won't give it away."

Suzaku's voice came to my ears, "My intestines are regretful."

Yang Xuan went to the room, but Yi Niang was not in the mood to eat. She frowned and said, "It's still money after all. Why did Mr. Lang become so lavish..."

"A gentleman never talks about profit." Cao Ying ate a piece of mutton and said happily with her eyes narrowed.

Yi Niang sneered, "Master, come up with an idea."

Cao Ying stretched out her hand to stroke her beard, reservedly...

"Your lunch is gone." Yi Niang never gets used to anyone's faults, except of course, Lang Jun.

Cao Ying's expression changed, and she said with a smile: "Actually, it's quite simple. You often say that the husband doesn't have a woman to serve him, so the fourth lady is pretty pretty. If the husband takes her in... ho ho ho!"

You get both people and wealth!

When he was feeling proud, he saw Yi Niang was stunned and asked, "But you don't understand?"

Yi Niang raised her eyes and said, "For money, you dare to let Mr. Lang accept a businesswoman. Where is your moral integrity?"

"Integrity?" Cao Ying coughed dryly, "A gentleman should also know how to adapt."

Later, the two appeared outside Yuanzhou Ramen.

"How do you like it? My butt is big, my face is clean, my eyes are bright, but my breasts are a bit bigger and I look tired." Cao Ying said with an expert look on her face.

Han Ying's figure loomed in the store.

Yi Niang glanced over with the eyes of choosing a woman for the emperor, and said calmly: "I'm afraid that I will crush the husband, and it's not good to get bored."

"The prince is coming."

An Ziyu said angrily: "When the prince was conferred, the Imperial Academy only sent gifts and did not send anyone to congratulate him. From then on, the Imperial Academy was like a muddy pond in the East Palace, and was targeted everywhere. What is he doing today? Weasel is giving New Year greetings to the chicken,

Not so kind!"

"If you say you won't form a party, naturally you won't send anyone to congratulate you." Ning Yayun gently played the piano and said calmly: "Whether he comes or not, the Imperial College will be here."

Ning Yayun's eyes flashed fiercely, and she held the fire seal in her hand, "If you let him send someone in, I will burn your guqin."

Ning Yayun sighed, this clock will come in.

"Hey!" He sighed as soon as he came in.

"Speak!" An Ziyu hated seeing such a sighing man.

Zhong Hui subconsciously dodged, but no ruler flew towards him. He stroked his beard and said, "Baodong's family has been having a hard time recently. My father is ill and needs some precious medicinal materials. The family has spent a lot of money..."

"I guess he was doing it to earn money for his father's medical treatment, and I even scolded him for being greedy for profit." An Ziyu was startled, and then choked up, "What a pitiful person, oh oh oh..."

Outside, two clerks accompanied the prince and others with nervous expressions on their faces.

Li Jing was dressed in casual clothes and looked at the people around him with a smile.

This is the second time that the Prince of the Tang Dynasty entered the Imperial Academy after many years.

The chamberlains and attendants around him all had serious faces... The prince's friendliness was a gesture, and their coldness was also a gesture.

Between the heat and the cold, a gap formed between the prince and those people, invisible but insurmountable.

"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"

Crying sounds came from the guard room, and a chamberlain said with a straight face, "Your Highness, who is so unlucky here? Look!"

A guard strode forward and pushed open the door.

"Get out!" a woman yelled.

The ruler flashed.

Boom!

The guard fell to the ground, rolled his eyes, and fainted with a hiccup. His forehead swelled rapidly.

Li Jing's smile faded a little, and the scholar Hu Yanwei, an official of the East Palace beside him, said softly: "This is a show of force, Your Highness."

"I know." Li Jing still smiled.

"Sacrifice wine, Your Highness is here."

someone shouted.

Ning Yayun and three others came out to greet him. Looking at the guard who fell on the ground, Ning Yayun sighed in her heart, but An Ziyu said: "This person did not knock on the door."

Someone dragged the guards down, and Ning Yayun invited the prince in to serve tea.

When the tea was served, the waiter took out a small cup, poured some tea, and drank it immediately.

Li Jing smiled and said, "I haven't been to the Imperial College for a long time. How have you been teaching at the Imperial College these past years?"

This is an inspection.

Ning Yayun habitually wanted to play the piano, but now there was a table in front of her, so she touched a water glass and felt numb, "The Imperial College has been working hard these years..."

What you said is watertight and metaphysics is independent. It’s impossible for your prince to inspect your studies, right?

Li Jing nodded and praised: "Not bad."

Hu Yanwei also nodded with a smile, "Poetry is like a poem, and a song is a song to express one's ambition. Today, all the virtuous people in the Imperial College have arrived, and I have a poem to show off my ugliness."

An Ziyu's eyes narrowed... A group of people in the Imperial College were obsessed with talking and practicing, who had nothing to think about writing poetry?

Hu Yanwei thought for a while and recited: "The human heart is like a good seedling. It grows when it is nourished. The seedling is fed by spring water, and the heart is nourished by reason and righteousness. If you don't read for a day, you will have no good thoughts. If you don't read for a month, your ears and eyes will lose their vitality.

.”

This poem perfectly fits the atmosphere of the Imperial College.

Hu Yanwei smiled and said: "Show your ugliness and show your ugliness."

An Ziyu glanced at Ning Yayun and thought that the prince was really here to cause trouble.

While Ning Yayun secretly complained in her heart, she was thinking about the emperor's dissatisfaction with the left prime minister. The Imperial College was an ally of the left prime minister, and the emperor's dealings with the Imperial College were the same as dealing with the left prime minister. And the prince came to make things difficult because he wanted to share the emperor's worries.

?

He looked at the clock.

Zhong Hui's lips moved, and the embarrassed expression on his face reminded people of constipation.

Go back and practice hard!

An Ziyu looked at the prince, trying to say something to ease the atmosphere. But the prince looked at them with a smile, and there was an unbreakable majesty in his peaceful eyes.

Alone here!

Poems come!

An Ziyu's heart trembled, knowing that today the prince was going to slap the Imperial Academy in the face and flatter the emperor.

If this person can dedicate his princess to the emperor, what can't he do?

Li Jing smiled, "How?"

Hu Yanwei handed over his hand and said, "Please enlighten me."

The atmosphere in the room was tense to the point of silence.

"I have it." Someone said outside the door.

The chamberlain turned around and shouted: "Your Highness is here, shut up!"

The man outside the door was blocked by the guards and was reciting to himself.

"The lights are on at three and the chickens are on at five. It's the time for men to study."

Hu Yanwei smiled, "It's normal." But his feet moved uncomfortably.

These two lines of poetry are more natural and inspirational than his, and they have surpassed them by a lot. Of course, two lines are nothing...composing poetry! The last two lines are the key point.

The man outside the door continued to chant, "Black-haired people don't know how to study diligently early, and white-haired people regret studying late."

These two sentences are a wonderful summary, inspiring and encouraging, and they are infinitely better than Hu Yanwei's poems.

Hu Yanwei's hand shook, and the water cup fell on the table. Then it rolled down and covered half of his body with tea.

An Ziyu was ecstatic and asked: "Who is outside?"

"It's Yang Xuan!"

Ps: The first poem comes from: Qing Dynasty poet Xiao Luansi's "Reading and Writing"

The second poem comes from: Tang Dynasty, Yan Zhenqing's "Poem to Encourage Learning"
