Chapter 47 Secret Place

Liu Li woke up with a start.

He was still in the Tower of Enlightenment, but Liu Li soon discovered that the Tower of Enlightenment was completely different from before he fell asleep!

The comfortable modern bed where he lay and rested was gone, leaving only a cold straw mat and a simple quilt.

The futon is still there, and in front of the futon, there is an additional Buddha statue.

With his keen hearing and vision, he also noticed that many details around him were different from before.

"It seems that I have fallen into a dream and entered a secret place."

Liu Li stood up. He did not rush to leave the Enlightenment Tower, but explored inside the tower.

He has no experience in exploring this kind of secret place, but he has experience in many novels and games. Based on his game intuition, there is probably some hidden path near this birth point, and then he can get hidden rewards or something.

"There is no secret door in the wall..."

"There's nothing else in the tower..."

Liu Li groped as he walked.

He also ran to the middle of the pagoda, looked at the futon, hesitated for a moment, and finally did not kowtow to the Buddha statue on the futon, but just opened the futon to see if there was anything underneath.

Nothing at all.

Liu Li looked at the Buddha statue again. He had studied Taoism out of work needs. He didn't understand Buddhism at all. He didn't know who this Buddha statue belonged to. He went around behind the Buddha statue and knocked on it.

"hollow!"

Liu Li was refreshed and quickly looked for an opening near the Buddha statue.

Sure enough, there was an opening behind the Buddha statue, and people could barely crawl in. Liu Li reached in and pulled out books one after another!

"Inherit the scriptures!" Liu Li was overjoyed and pulled out the book inside. The characters on it were a little difficult to read, but they were not ancient Chinese characters. Liu Li could barely understand them.

"Heart Sutra?"

"The Great Compassion Mantra?"

Liu Li opened it and read it. They seemed to be Buddhist scriptures, not cultivation scriptures.

A little unwillingly, he took out the Buddhist scriptures and looked through them all, but found nothing.

Liu Li respectfully stuffed all these Buddhist scriptures back into the Buddha statue, closed the Buddha statue again, and whispered in a low voice: "Buddha, if you have a spirit in heaven, don't blame me for disrespecting you. It is true that the earth is in danger now, and mankind is in danger. I have no choice but to do this." After all, I've restored it to you, so don't curse me."

After reading it, Liu Li felt that the Buddha would definitely forgive him because of his reasonable temperament!

"It looks like there is nothing in the Tower of Enlightenment."

Liu Li thought, opened his Xuanguang Eyes, and scanned the tower again.

"This is?"

Liu Li was keenly aware that the Tower of Enlightenment was different from before!

On the inner wall of the Enlightenment Tower, there are many tiny scratches!

He hurriedly walked over and reached out to touch the scratches, but there was nothing to touch on his hands!

"What are these scratches?"

Liu Li retreated and stood near the futon, observing the inner wall of the tower.

"etc……"

Liu Li found that these notches were a bit like the cards the doctor gave him to test his color blindness during his previous physical examination. In the color blindness cards, there were text between various colored spots, and there seemed to be vague images between these notches.

Liu Li observed carefully. After about ten minutes, he completed the observation.

There are seven carved pictures in the Enlightenment Tower!

The first carved picture seems to depict a human baby, climbing on the ground and reaching for the sky.

Liu Li only understood the first picture. The other notched pictures seemed to depict images that Liu Li was unfamiliar with. Looking at them was like looking at the tiles in the toilet and imagining that the pattern of the tiles was describing some kind of monster. It seems that there are multiple images on a notch diagram, and it makes sense no matter how you interpret it.

Liu Li approached the first notch picture. As he walked, he suddenly discovered that the notch pattern seemed to be changing depending on the angle of observation.

The baby made different moves!

"These movements are a bit familiar. There are similar movements in the boxing techniques of "The Book of Slaughter"." Liu Li frowned.

He felt his temples swelling.

"Is this the feeling that my spiritual power is improving? When I observed these patterns, I unconsciously touched the Xuan Dian chapter of "The Sutra of Slaughter"?" Liu Li was stunned.

"Sure enough, these carved patterns are an inherited scripture!" Liu Li was excited.

What a chance!

I didn’t expect that as soon as I entered the secret place, I would encounter a inheritance!

Liu Li named the first engraved picture "Baby Crawling Picture". He didn't know what the real name of this inheritance was, so he chose an image name first.

Then, he began to imitate the movements in the "baby crawling picture"!

Fortunately, there was no one else here, he was the only one, otherwise it would have been quite embarrassing for Liu Li to do the actions of crawling around and rolling left and right.

"Uh, wait a minute, these are movements that teach people how to exert force?" Liu Li thought while imitating.

"No, no, this is obviously a ground fighting technique, all about grappling and strangulation."

"Yes, what I thought at first was right. This is a force-generating movement, not a ground fighting technique."

As he practiced, Liu Li felt that his brain was overloaded, so he decided to give up thinking and simply imitate the movements he saw.

He rolled around on the ground, and after completing all the movements skillfully, he got up.

Liu Li felt like he had regained the feeling of playing in the mud in his childhood, and he was inexplicably happy.

"It seems that there is no effect of practice. I only learned some techniques for exerting force. Could it be that I thought wrongly? The key lies not in the pattern, but in the carving itself?"

Liu Li approached the pattern, looked at the carvings, and thought to himself: "It would be great if my mind blade was a sword or a knife. Then I might be able to understand the sword intention in these carvings and understand the peerless swordsmanship."

Unfortunately, his mind blade is a broken stick.

After studying for a while, Liu Li found nothing else, and his temples were no longer swollen.

"Forget it, these notch pictures can't escape here. At worst, I'll come in next time and continue reading."

Liu Li thought and prepared to leave the Enlightenment Tower.

As he walked towards the outside of the Enlightenment Tower, his body seemed lighter.

Pushing open the wooden door of the Enlightenment Tower, a pure white snowscape came into view under the dim moonlight.

"Wow!" Liu Li praised.

The pine forest in front of me is covered with snow, and the forest paths are also covered with snow. The moonlight shines down, and everything is quiet.

He walked out of the Enlightenment Tower and looked back. Sure enough, the appearance of the Enlightenment Tower in the secret place was different from that of the outside world. It looked older, dilapidated, and lacked maintenance.

There is actually a plaque at the entrance to the Enlightenment Tower in the secret place, which is not found in the outside world.

There are four words written on the plaque:

"Tao follows nature."

The four big characters are vigorous and powerful.

Liu Li cursed: "What kind of enlightenment tower is this? There are Buddha statues inside and Taoist plaques hanging outside. Do you want to put another cross in the yard?"

He quickly thought: "If I want to leave such a secret place in the future, then I will definitely fill it with all the Buddha statues and gods that can be stuffed, and arrange crosses, pyramids, etc., so that future generations can visit me." I’m so confused, I can’t figure out what I am, haha.”

Liu Li laughed unconsciously, and then he set foot on the snowy road and moved forward step by step.

He happily walked along the forest path, not like visiting a secret place, but like a trip to nature in winter.

Walking all the way, enjoying the snowy scenery under the moon, Liu Li felt extremely happy.

"Sure enough, I have reached the edge of the mountain habitat and instinctively get close to the natural scenery." Liu Li thought.

Liu Li's ears were very sharp, and suddenly he heard something crushing the fallen branches.

The sound came from far away, but was clear in the cedar forest.

Then there was the sound of walking on snow.
