Chapter Two: The Balloon That Can't Fly

"Xiaoman, Xiaoman, get up and have dinner." The woman named Aunt An gently shook the boy lying on the sofa.

"Have you eaten yet..." The man opened his eyes sleepily: "I know, I'm here." After saying that, he got up and washed his hands before sitting at the dining table.

"Aunt An, please sit down and eat too. You have been busy for so long." Li Manman said to the woman standing aside.

The woman hurriedly waved her hands and said she didn't need it. She was just a nanny in this family, and it was really difficult for her to come to the table for dinner. Li Manman understood this, shook her head and stopped talking. Aunt An was not the first person to eat.

Once he refused to serve, but he would still ask this question every time before eating.

"There's no need to prepare so much next time. It's a waste if you can't eat it and pour it over." Li Manman said, looking at the fairly full dining table.

"But Madam said you are still growing..."

"It doesn't matter, she's not at home now anyway. Besides, even if she's growing, there's no need to be so exaggerated."

Aunt An wanted to say something, but she just looked at the boy's face and finally chose to shut up. Forget it, why should I talk when I have a nanny? But to be honest, Manman is getting worse and worse now.

We got along... Madam and husband, it's true, I don't know that adolescent children are always prone to overthinking, so it's not okay to ignore them like this...

No matter what Aunt An was thinking, Li Manman was able to finish dinner in just three strokes and five divided by two. After all, if she finished eating earlier, Aunt An could finish washing the pots and dishes earlier and get off work.

"You can go back early after you finish your work later. Xiaoqing is probably anxiously waiting for you at home."

Xiaoqing is Aunt An's daughter, who is about the same age as herself. Aunt An couldn't coordinate the time, so she brought her to her home once before. So Li Manman knew her.

Aunt An nodded and didn't say anything after seeing Li Manman carrying her bag upstairs.

Around seven o'clock in the evening, Aunt An wanted to say hello to Li Manman before leaving, so she went to his room on the second floor and knocked on the door.

"Dong dong dong, dong dong dong."

There was no response, which was strange. Could it be that the child was asleep?

Just when she was about to continue knocking on the door, she heard a series of blows coming from another room at the end of the corridor.

"Manman." This time Aunt An found his person.

The burly Li Manman stood in front of the sandbag and turned to look at Aunt An: "What's wrong?"

Aunt An was hesitant to speak. She knew that Li Manman's physical fitness had always been good, but he was not that into sports before, especially things like boxing.

Seeing that Aunt An was silent, Li Manman turned around again and started fighting with her boxing gloves on.

"Then I'll go back first. If anything happens, Manman, please remember to call me." After saying that, she turned and left, but at the same time, she also made a decision in her heart. This matter must still be done.

Talk to Mr. and Mrs.

Not paying attention to her departure, Li Manman continued his 'exercise'. He didn't know how long it took before he finally stopped. He lay on the ground and stared at the ceiling with eyes blank: "It's so boring... If only someone could accompany me."

Just have fun." There is no need to think about his classmates in school. It's not that he looks down on anyone, it's just that not many of them have mobile phones. Even if they are contacted, it is not certain whether they can come out, but not everyone is like

I have no parental control like this.

Forget it, even if it's just going out for a walk.

As a young man, he just did what he thought of, changed his clothes, picked up his mobile phone and put on his headphones and went out directly.

"Mom, I want to buy that!" A little girl shouted to her mother on the street. Li Manman looked in the direction of the child's finger and saw that it was a balloon.

I saw that the mother ignored the child and pulled her forward. The daughter just sat on the ground and began to cry. However, why was it thundering but not raining? The mother was not in a hurry and just stood there.

Let the children make noise nearby.

"Qinjia...it's so noisy. Why don't you just buy it for her? How much does a balloon cost?" For Li Manman now, it is naturally impossible for him to understand the parenting experience of parents. In his eyes,

Spending a little money in exchange for peace is a very cost-effective thing. He quickly passed by the mother and daughter, and he wanted to stay away from them. But not long after leaving, he turned back and bought balloons and then went to the girl.

Kneeling down in front of me: "Stop crying, I'll give this to you."

The girl didn't know that much. She took the balloon and started to laugh silly. But the mother beside her was very confused. Who is this person? Why did he suddenly give his daughter a balloon?

"Fanfan, return the balloon to brother!"

After hearing the woman's words, the girl was a little reluctant and still held on to the balloon string. But after her mother's face became really serious, she obediently returned the balloon.

"Thank you, kid, but we can't take this balloon." Before Li Manman could speak, the woman thanked him again and left with her daughter, leaving Li Manman alone in the wind. Why?

Don't you want it? It's just a balloon, right? I don't mean any harm.

Looking at the balloon in his hand, he shook his head. What did he want with this thing? Why not let it go. He loosened his grip on the thread and asked, "Wait, why didn't the balloon fly away?"

"Brother, your balloon almost flew away." At some point, another little girl stood in front of her, still holding the thread she had just loosened.

Li Manman subconsciously reached out and took it and said thank you.

"You're welcome, the girl smiled very happily."

"Zheng Xiujing!" Not far away, another young voice came over. An older girl stood in front of Zheng Xiujing: "Why are you running around?! Don't you know I was so anxious just now???"

The girl named Zheng Xiujing was so frightened that she lowered her head and dared not speak. It seemed that she knew that her running around would make this sister worried.

The older girl noticed Li Manman at this time. After looking at him with a frown, she felt that he should be about the same age as her, so she breathed a sigh of relief. She thought just now that there was some weird uncle playing tricks on him.

Akira took action. My family had just returned to this country and were unfamiliar with the place, so we had to be more careful.

Li Manman didn't know what happened and had no intention of continuing the conversation. After thanking the girl named Zheng Xiujing again, he turned and left.

The little girl was told thank you twice, and the smile on her face never stopped. For a child, nothing is more valuable than the kindness of others.

Wandering around casually on the street, and feeling that he was almost done, Li Manman went back the same way. After walking around for a while, his mood was somewhat relieved.

When he got home, he realized that he was still holding the balloon in his hand.

He was a little dumbfounded. By chance, he, a junior high school student, actually bought a balloon and took it home. If his classmates at school found out about this, they would not know how to laugh at him.

"Forget it, I bought everything and didn't throw it away. It seems that you and I are destined." He tied the balloon to the stool and returned to the room to prepare for a bath. After the bath, he would go to bed or take a nap.

Aren’t all video games allowed?

What, are you asking junior high school students if they don’t have homework? Come on, it’s okay to learn from your classmates the next morning, right?
