Chapter 6 I want someone from you

Mr. Yao felt better after taking the medicine and wanted to get out of bed and walk around. But after walking around for two times, he felt his legs were weak and he broke out in a sweat.

Mrs. Yao hurriedly came over to support her, sat back on the bed, and said, "Master, please rest for a while. The doctor has said that you will recover from your illness."

"I'm so squeamish now. I'm much better. I'll be fine tomorrow."

While the couple was talking, Mengying came with Qingluo, who was also holding a box in her hand.

Mengying paid her respects to her parents and sent Qingluo away.

Mrs. Yao was puzzled and asked: "What is this?"

Mengying told the origin of the box, then opened the lid and took out a white jade Buddha.

Unexpectedly, when Mr. Yao looked at the Jade Buddha, there was a crisp sound, and the tea bowl actually slipped and fell to the ground. Mr. Yao ignored the broken porcelain pieces on the ground, got off the bed with his bare feet, hugged the Jade Buddha, and cried loudly.<

It turns out that this is the relic of Mr. Yao's biological mother, Mrs. Cui. Mr. Yao passed away when he was four years old. This jade Buddha has been enshrined in the temple of the Yao family's old house. Every time he sees the Jade Buddha, he feels like he has met his mother.

Later, Mrs. Yao remarried Mrs. Yin. Three years later, her home was robbed and many valuables were lost, including this white jade Buddha.

"It turns out that you were not robbed by a thief, but you were a thief by yourself! Mrs. Yin, you are so cruel!" Mr. Yao cried and vomited blood and fell on his back.

If Mrs. Hu hadn't been quick to help him with his quick hands and eyes, Mr. Yao would have almost hit the back of his head.

Mrs. Hu was indeed an old man who had seen a lot of things. She quickly pinched the man and asked Mrs. Yao to press Mr. Yao's mouth.

Mengying also wanted to come over to help, but Mrs. Yao pushed her down: "What are you thinking about? If there is something wrong with me, you will die!"

Mengying fell to the ground, her mother's words echoed in her ears, and she forgot about them.

"Ah, ah, oh..." After a while, Mr. Yao woke up leisurely.

Yao Qingshan looked up and saw his daughter fell to the side, looking at him with horror in her eyes.

"I'm fine, help me up." Mr. Yao said.

Mrs. Yao wiped the tears from her face, helped her husband to the bed, and asked Mrs. Hu to send for the doctor.

"Master, you scared me to death. How can Yao'er and I survive if you want to be good?"

Mr. Yao did not answer his wife, but waved to his daughter, motioning for her to come over.

Mengying slowly got up from the ground and walked to the bed.

"Dad is wrong. I should have believed you earlier. I think the Yin family, mother and son are ambitious, and they are good."

After saying that, he took out a box from under the pillow.

"Dad, I know you are smart. If you hadn't noticed in time and found Tao Zhuangshi last time, our family would have been dead.

Inside this are the seal and the key. Dad has given them to you. Take your brother with you and get back everything we deserve. Don’t take advantage of them."

Mrs. Yao hurriedly came over and stroked Mr. Yao's back, comforting her softly, but her eyes drifting towards Mengying were full of disgust. Mengying glanced at Mrs. Yao and did not dare to answer.

"The bet my daughter said before was just a whim. It's hard for my daughter to take on big responsibilities, so let's leave it to her brother." Mengying didn't know the reason, but she knew that her mother hated her.

She had made a bet with her father that her second uncle and the others had teamed up with Butler Song to murder them for the sake of family wealth. But Mr. Yao didn't believe it, so she resorted to aggressive tactics, saying that if her second uncle was really a wicked person, the family would be under her control from now on.

She is planning for this family, but she doesn’t want to be hated by others. Since her mother doesn’t want to, why should she step forward?

Mr. Yao waved his hand, "I will take care of it for you first. When dad is well, you can return it. Remember to take the winery back..."

Mengying refused and took the box.

"Master, please lie down and recuperate. It's not too late to tell Ying Yatou when you're ready." As soon as Mrs. Yao finished speaking, the doctor came and hurriedly diagnosed Mr. Yao's pulse and prescribed medicine.

Mrs. Yao asked about his condition. The doctor meant that Mr. Yao was so angry that he had to worry less recently. Otherwise, he would be at the root of the disease, and at worst, he would be prone to stroke.

Everyone was boiling medicine and passing water to others. Mengying really couldn't get involved. She didn't want to disturb her mother's eyes, so she took a few steps back and retreated to the door.

Not long after, Yao Chengyao came. He walked past Mengying and threw himself directly in front of the bed.

Mrs. Yao said with a tearful voice: "Yao'er, you're here. Your father just vomited blood, and you scared your mother to death."

Mrs. Yao complained to her son and wiped her tears with a handkerchief.

Mengying sighed, walked out of the room, and saw green radish walking around under the eaves like ants on a hot pot.

She heard the crying just now, but she didn't dare to go in, because she knew that the master and his wife didn't want to see the girl, and she wouldn't get any favors if she went in. But she had no idea whether she should go in or not.

Seeing Mengying come out, Qingluo hurriedly stepped forward and asked: "Girl, what happened, sir..."

Mengying shook her head, indicating that she was fine. Holding the handkerchief in her hand, she walked through the corridor like a clay sculpture and walked towards the backyard where she lived.

Mengying felt chills all over her body when she thought of her mother looking at her with disgust.

Just because I had a difficult delivery and was a girl, my mother has hated me since I was a child.

But she didn't want her mother to have a difficult delivery. She even thought that it would be better if she was a boy. It would be better to be born three years earlier and become the eldest son of the Yao family. In this way, her mother would not have been looked down upon by her sisters-in-law in the past few years, but this was something she could do.

The one who calls the shots?

If she had a choice, she would rather drink Meng Po Soup on the Naihe Bridge and be reincarnated, but who has ever asked her own wishes?

*

Now that Dongsheng has left, the job of keeping tabs falls on Qingluo.

She woke up early on purpose and saw Mr. Yao Er going to the county government office after breakfast.

It's not easy to stalk in a bold manner during the day, so I have to beat around the bush and stay far behind.

When she arrived at the gate of the county government office, she saw Mr. Yao Er walking out of it with a disgraced look on his face, and she knew that his work was not going well.

Later, I heard the Yamen servants cursing and saying, "How dare you bring this with broken stones? The Yao family is so poor."

After hearing Qingluo's report, Mengying was not surprised that the Jade Buddha was in her hand. The object in the magistrate's box was obviously a stone.

In this way, Yao Qingjiang lost everything, lost everything, and offended the county boss.

Mengying secretly rejoiced, God was really helping me!
