Chapter 382 Japan (5)

The 14-year-old second-generation lord of the Choshu Domain, Tsunahiro Mouri, was the youngest among the daimyo present. He suddenly said worriedly: "The general is nominally our lord. I am committing the following crime. Do you agree with the etiquette?"

Not compatible?"

Among the great Japanese men of the Warring States Period, Tokugawa Ieyasu could only be considered average in terms of his fighting ability; but in terms of political vision and skill, Tokugawa Ieyasu was ranked second, and no one dared to call him first. He faced the challenge of the west as soon as he was born.

The Oda clan, the Imagawa clan in the east, and the Takeda clan in the north are oppressed by three powerful heroes. But they can always assess the situation, find the most suitable strong person to join them, and then quietly accumulate strength and become the strongest.

After wiping out the Toyotomi clan and unifying Japan, he felt that ruling the country by force alone was not enough. He had to supplement it with culture and education and learn from the Ming Dynasty. The Ming Dynasty was so good! If the king told his ministers to die, they had to die. After learning, the generals killed the daimyo.

The famous people did not dare to resist, so they knelt down obediently, washed their necks and were slaughtered. How wonderful! They invited a group of great scholars to spread the idea of "respecting the king and unifying the country" everywhere.

The idea of governing the country with Confucianism was inherited by his descendants. It was under this background that Zhu Zhiyu and other Ming Dynasty scholars in exile in Japan were able to prosper and enjoy themselves in Japan.

This set of culture and education has no effect on the older generation of Japanese daimyo. They were born in the Warring States Period, and they have developed a habit of inciting and suppressing the superiors. Emperors and generals are nothing, only interests are real.

However, it has a great influence on the younger generation of Japanese daimyo. They have been educated in Confucian culture since childhood and pay more attention to feudal ethics. Mouri Tsunahiro is only fourteen years old and grew up reading books about sages. He was allowed to participate in making troubles and "Lord"

When the Tokugawa clan works against them, they always feel that their names are not justified, their words are inconsistent, and they have no confidence.

The Choshu Domain was a powerful domain second only to the Satsuma Domain and the Sendai Domain. When Tsunahiro Mouri hesitated, everyone's momentum was dampened.

Nabeshima Katsushige, the leader of the Hizen Domain, was seventy-three years old and a treacherous old man. When he heard this, he was stunned and suddenly burst into laughter and said: "Tsunahiro is ridiculous! The lord we are waiting for is His Majesty the Emperor. When did he become a virtue?"

In my opinion, our request to increase the port can be submitted in two submissions, one to His Majesty the Emperor and one to the Tokugawa Shogunate. As long as His Majesty the Emperor agrees, it is justifiable."

Ginger is still as spicy as old! All the feudal lords were overjoyed when they heard this, and they all praised: "Sheng Maogong's words are very kind!"

??

Kyoto, one of the three capitals of Japan, is more sacred than Osaka and Edo. Because this city is not for people to live in, but for gods. The descendants of Japan's Amaterasu, the emperors, live in the imperial palace in the city.

(Japanese Imperial Palace). After Nara moved the capital in 781 AD, the Japanese protoss lived here for more than a thousand years. It was not until the Meiji Restoration that the imperial palace moved to Edo (Tokyo).

The reason why we say they are emperors is because at this moment, there are three emperors living in the Kyoto Imperial Palace. The 108th generation Gomizuo Emperor Masahito, the 109th generation Emperor Meisho Oiko, and the 110th generation Emperor Goko Mikado Shohito.

Of course, there is only one emperor—Emperor Gomitsu, and the other two can only be regarded as the Supreme Emperor.

The relationship between these three people, two men and one woman, is as follows:

Father, Emperor Gomizuo Masahito;

Sister, Masahito’s second daughter, Emperor Meisho’s son;

Younger brother, Masahito’s fourth son, Emperor Shohito of Gokomitsu.

Strange, really strange! The old emperor abdicated to the new emperor before he died, and the new emperor only abdicated to his younger brother after only a few years. What is the reason?

Of course there is a reason. This is a history of the struggle between the gods and humans. It ends with the complete victory of the human Tokugawa shogunate and the complete defeat of the emperors of the gods.

In 1611, Emperor Gomizuo's father, Emperor Goyosei, did not quite listen to the words of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first general who conquered the barbarians. He was forced to abdicate by Tokugawa Ieyasu, and the fifteen-year-old Emperor Gomizuo Masahito ascended the throne.

This majesty is a temperamental person, and he wanted to seize power from the Tokugawa shogunate as soon as he came to the throne. But Tokugawa Ieyasu is such a hero, how can he allow a little kid to play around?

In 1615, Tokugawa Ieyasu said, "The emperor is a god. He should give top priority to the cultivation of knowledge and the mastery of Japanese songs. He should not be disturbed by worldly affairs. Let's make a law for your majesty." So, specifically targeting the emperor,

The "Regulations on Banning and Consolidating Public Affairs" was formulated and promulgated. According to this legislation, the emperor has only one power: to formulate his own reign name. In addition, any participation in political activities must be approved by the shogunate.

Tokugawa Ieyasu was too cruel, and Emperor Gomizuo couldn't fight him, so he had to endure it.

After finally enduring it, Tokugawa Ieyasu congratulated Hexi, and the second general, Tokugawa Hidetada, came to the throne.

Tokugawa Hidetada was even "bad" than his father Tokugawa Ieyasu, and he actually wanted to destroy the noble bloodline of the Gods.

The emperor is a descendant of Amaterasu, the creator god in Japanese mythology. In order to ensure the purity of the divine blood, the queen must be a close relative of the royal family. Historically, it was very common for the emperor to marry his own aunt or sister. The daughters of ordinary mortals could only become servants.

Woman.

Tokugawa Hidetada did not believe in evil and forced Emperor Gomizuo to make his daughter Tokugawa Kazuko the emperor's concubine (empress).

On the surface, the emperor and his wife were very loving. Kazuko gave birth to two sons and five daughters for the emperor. Among them, Prince Takahito was appointed as the crown prince. However, it was strange that Prince Takahito died inexplicably when he was only three years old, and the other prince died.

If you are born in the palace, you will die in one month.

Emperor Gomizuo and other royal women gave birth to princes with pure blood, and they all lived well.

Huh! The prince with half mortal blood flowing through his body cannot even think of inheriting my throne!

The hard days endured slowly until Tokugawa Hidetada gave way to Tokugawa Iemitsu. The third shogun, Tokugawa Iemitsu, seemed easier to deal with.

Emperor Gomizuo took action: without the permission of the shogunate, he awarded purple robes to more than 70 monks of Daitokuji and Myoshinji.

Granting purple robes to monks is remunerative and has always been a major source of income for the emperor. However, the "Regulations on Prohibition and Public Affairs" formulated by the Tokugawa clan clearly stipulates that the emperor must obtain permission from the shogunate to sell purple robes to monks without any prior notice.

Clothing is an "illegal act".

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading!

Emperor Gomizuo did this not only for economic reasons, but also as an attempt to challenge the authority of the shogunate. If the shogunate did not respond, he would commit more "illegal acts".

Tokugawa Iemitsu's reaction was quick and he showed no mercy when it came to power. He declared these purple robes invalid and exiled the monks who were unwilling to return the purple robes. He also claimed that if there were any more violations of the "Public Laws", all relevant persons would be punished.

Removed from office and punished.

The emperor had no choice but to surrender, and the court directly under him stated: "We will not do such ineffective things in the future."

The "Purple Clothes Incident" is not over yet. In order to let Emperor Gomizuo understand that the world has changed and God has to listen to people, the third generation general Tokugawa Iemitsu deliberately ordered his wet nurse Kasuga Bureau to come to Beijing to see the emperor.

The Emperor is a god, and only mortals with official positions "from the fifth below" and above are eligible to enter the palace to pay homage. This Kasuga Bureau is just Tokugawa Iemitsu's nanny and has no official position. Emperor Gomizuo doesn't want to see him. He can't do it without seeing him, and the shogunate insists on it.

Forced, I had no choice but to meet with shame and humiliation.

The "Purple Clothes Incident" and the "Kasuga Bureau Visiting Incident" were regarded as a great shame and humiliation by Emperor Gomizuo.

He decided to fight back. He knew that the Tokugawa family had always hoped that he and Tokugawa Kazuko would have another prince, so that someone with half the blood of the Tokugawa family could become the next emperor. So, without warning, he suddenly announced that he would abdicate the throne to a boy who was less than seven years old.

The daughter Xingzi became Emperor Meisho.

This move immediately ended the Tokugawa shogunate's ambition to inherit the throne with his grandson.

Xingzi was born to the Empress and was half Tokugawa. It was not easy for the Tokugawa to object. However, the Japanese royal family stipulated that in order to maintain the purity of the divine bloodline, the female emperor could not marry a "mortal" casually. She could not marry a human being.

Naturally, there are no descendants. The only female emperor with half Tokugawa blood is Xingzi's generation.

Emperor Gomizuo retired after becoming the Supreme Empress and still firmly controlled the internal affairs of the imperial family.

The poor Empress Meisho was caught between the two forces of her father and grandfather. She was exhausted and overwhelmed. When she was twenty years old, she gave up the throne to her half-brother Shao Ren and became the Emperor Gokomei.
