Chapter 53 The sun rises and the world becomes bright

When I met Zhang Yong this time, it can be said that his temperament changed drastically.

It is normal to have such changes due to sudden changes.

But... I always feel like something is wrong.

Just like when I first saw him outside the secret realm of Tianfu, although he acted introverted and cowardly, he fit the status of a descendant of a declining noble family.

But I always feel uncomfortable for no reason.

This "uncomfortable" does not mean that Jiang Wang has any opinions or bad impressions about him.

It happened that he had a very good impression of Zhang Yong at that time.

It's just that he subconsciously felt that it was not appropriate and natural enough.

It was as if the person's state at that time was a little disharmonious. At this moment, Zhang Yong, who was standing in a boneless state, was sad, dead, wary, and painful, but Jiang Wang had a very strange feeling. This was

The real him.

There is no logical reason, just the most direct feeling.

In any case, since Jiang Wang judged that there was no possibility of recruiting Zhang Yong for the time being, Jiang Wang would not stay here and continue to waste time.

Yang State is located in the northwest of Qi State. The driver is a good driver and the driver is a horse.

With the name of the Chongxuan family, the carriage moved forward smoothly and steadily.

Jiang Wang was sitting in the carriage, closing his eyes and meditating.

Maple Grove City.

Almost all the vitality has been extinguished, and only a weak fire of life is burning in the body of a haggard person.

I don't know how much time passed.

The meaning of time seems to have been lost in Maplewood City. The only thing that can prove the passage of time is probably the almost endless tombs behind this person...

He buried everyone alone.

He remembered that this should be the land of the Wang clan.

Hehe, which place in Maplewood City doesn't he know?

How many years has he lived here?

Memory is such a tormenting thing.

Linghe trudged through the ruins,

The erosion of the netherworld's aura may have taken his life long ago, but for some reason, he was always hanging on.

That breath was not breathing air, but a wisp of black and yellow air floating in the Tongtian Palace.

Ling He didn't know that it was the energy of merit brought by his use of the Sutra of Saving the Sufferings to save the dead.

The upper part is black and the lower part is yellow, which is the color of heaven and earth.

All he knows is that he is still alive.

Since you are still alive, you have to do something and finish something.

He is a persistent and perseverant person.

It is precisely because of this persistence and perseverance that he has never fallen far behind in his practice.

Ling He couldn't count how many corpses he had buried and how many graves he had piled up.

He just walked forward, saw the corpse, let it rest in the ground, and chanted sutras for its salvation.

Like this, repeatedly.

He walked to the most remote corner of the Wang family, which was probably the residence of the most neglected clan members.

But Ling He doesn't care about this. He never cares about wealth, poverty, nobility, beauty or ugliness. He is what Zhao Rucheng calls a "bad guy".

The strange thing is that most people seem to have died here.

They did not die from a disaster, but from some powerful force. They were killed almost instantly without any resistance.

Ling He pursed his dry lips.

Start digging a hole.

Burying along the way, building tombs along the way.

There was a small courtyard in front of us. Unexpectedly, in an earthquake of that magnitude, most of the houses collapsed.

Only this small courtyard is still intact.

But it was deserted after all.

Ling He pushed the door open and walked in. The first thing he saw was the putrid corpse of the orange cat.

This kind of corpse smell is nothing, he has already got used to it these days.

What made him uncomfortable was that the orange cat must have been dismembered by someone.

This cruelty made him frown.

He thought about it, dug a small pit, buried it, and recited scriptures for it.

Ling He continued to walk forward, entered the bedroom, and found Wang Changxiang's body lying on his back. Because of his successful practice, the body had not yet decomposed.

The expression he saw on Wang Changxiang's face was something he had never seen on anyone's face during his journey here.

That expression was not too painful, but rather... reassuring?

Without thinking much, Ling He stepped forward and took Wang Changxiang's body out of the room, then dug a hole in the yard and buried him next to the orange cat.

After finishing all this, he turned around and looked around, and found a scripture that had fallen to the ground under the lounge chair in the yard.

It seemed that someone had turned it over halfway, but dropped it in a hurry.

The owner of the book probably didn't have time to pick it up.

Ling He looked at Wang Changxiang's grave and thought that the owner of the yard might not be Wang Changxiang, but he must have a close relationship with him.

Ling He stepped forward, picked up the scripture, and looked at the cover.

The book cover should have been made by the owner of the book himself, and is very detailed and appropriate. The book cover is written with "The Book of Saviors" in a calm and upright handwriting.

Ling He couldn't help but sit down on the recliner and began to read this scripture.

He was very tired, but the physical exhaustion was not unbearable.

What is truly unbearable is the pain in my heart.

Every corpse he buried with his own hands seemed to tell him that those experiences were not nightmares.

It's something that actually happened and can never be undone.

Maybe there is a way in the Taoist scriptures that can solve the helplessness of the soul.

Although the Book of Saviors itself does not contain supernatural powers, as a Taoist scripture, it is the core classic of the Penglai Island lineage.

Its full name should be "Tai Shang Cave Xuan Ling Bao Immeasurable Human High Grade Miao Jing".

This sutra is known as the head of the group of sutras, the sect of all dharma, and the source of all dharma realms.

Reciting this sutra is said to be able to eliminate natural disasters, protect emperors and protect the emperor from poison, and save the people. Men and women will be protected and can live forever.

This is a teaching sutra, not a fundamental sutra for spiritual practice, so it is not top-secret.

The original version was of course full of magical powers, but the copy was not magical.

The real value lies in the mysteries of heaven and earth explained in the scriptures. People with wisdom may be able to get a few things from them.

Since ancient times, there have been many Taoist priests, great Confucians, and Zen masters who have limited scriptures and do not practice supernatural powers.

And these people with profound knowledge often understand the secrets of the classics in one fell swoop, acquire great supernatural powers with great wisdom, reach extraordinary heights in one step, and are passed down as beautiful stories.

It is said that those who can read the "Saving People Sutra" are said to be "immortal noble beings, immeasurable people, open the eight doors, fly to heaven and earth. Sins, blessings, forbidden precepts, fate and karma. Universal enlightenment, dead souls reborn. Body."

If you are reborn, you can go up to the heavens and hear about it."

Of course, this is just a rumor, and no one has actually seen it.

On the contrary, the Penglai Island lineage's fundamental spiritual practice scripture, "The High Sage Taishang Jade Chen Sutra", indeed has immeasurable supernatural power.

Together with the "Zixu Gaomiao Taishang Sutra" from the Yujing Mountain lineage, the "Hunyuan Birth Sutra" from Daluo Mountain, and the "Kaihuang Mo Jie Sutra", they are ranked among the most powerful practices in the world.

The special feature of this scripture obtained by Ling He lies in the annotations written by the original owner of the scripture.

In his opinion, he should be an old Taoist priest with a bright head and poor scriptures. He lives idlely in the Wang family for some reason. He has a very deep understanding of Taoist scriptures, and his writing is plain and far-reaching, which has the charm of Taoism.

There are some concepts that Ling He doesn't agree with, but he has to admit that the other party has some truth.

But the further back you turn, the more you feel a faint sense of depression.

"Perhaps, after reading the Bible to a certain extent, I have a premonition of today's tragedy?"

The thoughts in Ling He's mind turned faintly,

He picked up a dead leaf as a bookmark, took the Taoist scripture with him, and left the courtyard.

We need to continue the work of transcending the dead.

He decided to read two pages of scripture every day, explain his understanding, and confirm it with the comments on it.

This will be one of the rare pleasures in these difficult days.

If he can still live.
