Chapter 5 Why should I learn this!

"It's so boring! Why should I learn all this?" Shi Yu had been learning martial arts for several days, but he couldn't grasp any of the skills. It was the first time that reading a book could make him feel so painful.

Sitting slumped on the bed and complaining, Shi Yu threw the martial arts books in his hand far away in the corner of the room. The martial arts books that everyone in the world wanted were scattered on the floor like worthless scrap paper.

Go up and read through the breeze blowing in through the doors and windows.

"I don't want to be the top martial arts scholar, nor do I want to be a court mage, and I'm not sick or in trouble. Why do you have to ask me to learn these useless things! Why don't you teach me how to learn, and why don't you let others teach you?

My sister is also silent, as if I can learn it by just looking at it!" Shi Yu, who had lost his temper, looked blankly at the pages of the book that were fluttering in the corner, and was stunned for a moment before sighing.

Then he slowly moved off the bed, picked them up, and read them with great pain before his eyes.

"What is it! Body aperture? Where is it? Soul sea! What is it? A picture will do!"

Shi Yu didn't understand any of the dense words, and Shi Yu didn't understand any of the long or short sentences. But what they meant when they were put together was so confusing that he couldn't even describe it.

The boring study made time pass extremely slowly and dullly, killing the last trace of light in Shi Yu's eyes. A slight snoring sounded, and he fell asleep softly on the bed again.

I don't know how long it took, but Shi Yu opened his hazy eyes. He rubbed his eyes vigorously. His scattered eyes gradually condensed, and what he saw was a dim and hazy place.

"Ah? It's almost dark! I've slept for so long! Oh no, no! Sister Qingxi is going to scold me again!" Shi Yu quickly got up, tried his best to stretch his body, and hurriedly turned around to pick up the books from the bed.

Ce continued to study in response to the master's inquiry, but when he looked back, he was stunned.

"Where is this? Where are the books? Where is the bed?"

Looking at the empty land behind him, Shi Yu was shocked that he was actually sleeping on a boulder. He quickly turned his head and looked around, and a horrified expression suddenly appeared on his face.

"This is..." Looking at the sky and the earth around him at a loss, Shi Yu suddenly panicked. In the world in front of him, the sky was getting dark, there was a slight wind, and a long bluestone road led from his feet to the infinite distance.

Stretching out, where the visible road and sky meet, a blurry shadow stands.

There is no other choice. In this dead and uninhabited world, only this path leading to the unknown is feasible. Shi Yu gently lifted his steps and stepped onto the cold road.

A city with dense streets lined with tall trees. Everything was quiet. There were no pedestrians, no chirping of birds or insects, not even the slightest sign of living creatures. Only the sound of Shi Yu's footsteps echoed, and only the bleak buildings

They stand on both sides of the street, like standing giants overlooking this tiny life.

The windows are the dark eyes, terrifying and lifeless. Gray, only gray. The colors that should have been a colorful world are unified into a single tone here, so depressing that Shi Yu can only

Think simply.

"Is this an empty city? What happened here? Where are the people?" Shi Yu asked himself silently as he walked looking left and right.

He was a little panicked in his heart, and tried to call loudly, hoping to elicit a response, but when his voice was about to burst out, an unknown force was stuck in his throat, as if to remind him that breaking the tranquility here would lead to unpredictable consequences.

It happened. Shaking his head vigorously, Shi Yu asked himself: "How did I get here? Why did I get here?"

The road is long, stretching step by step under your feet. Where is the end? This road seems endless. When will it stop? Shi Yu looked up at the sky. There were no sun, moon or stars, only a gray darkness that seemed to last forever, blocking the sky.

Everything that happened after that, looking back, was no different from the road ahead, everything was orderly and silent.

Keep walking, don’t stop! My heart is calling Shi Yu.

A strange future

(This chapter is not finished, please turn the page)

There is no end, and the fatigue that comes from walking for a long time has disappeared. I just keep walking silently along the path that has been clearly stated.

Nothing has changed, making time meaningless. Only the same few questions have been lingering in Shi Yu's mind, thinking over and over again, but never having an answer.

Shi Yu has lost his sense of everything around him. What he sees seems not to be seen, what he hears seems not to be heard, and the road under his feet seems to be no longer there. His whole soul and body seem to be separated from each other.

A shadow floats in the air, watching the body move forward on its own.

The wind suddenly picked up, and for a moment it howled violently. The dark flowers, plants and trees that had been standing quietly on the street suddenly looked like crazy monsters, baring their teeth and claws, and the sound of "crack" branches and leaves entangled covered the only sound of footsteps.

The wind became stronger and stronger, and it was no longer just the plants and trees that were going crazy. Even the buildings that had been silent began to respond to the howling of the wind. The violently shaking window lattice made a "click-click" impact sound that became louder and fiercer.

Everything is rushing uncontrollably towards the other extreme.

The tree was about to fall and the building was about to be destroyed. Shi Yu suddenly opened his eyes wide, and his soul immediately returned to its original position. He looked around, his ears filled with the laughter of the wind. The strong wind made the eyes that had just been opened close tightly again, and the needle pricked him.

The severe pain made Shi Yu feel that life seemed to have a little meaning at this time.

Shi Yu slowly opened his already red eyes slightly, carefully looking at the changed world, hoping to see new things, but except for the wind, everything remained the same. If there was any difference, it was the originally clear path.

, it was no longer possible to see too far, as if the dim space couldn't help but twist and overlap, and everything that caught the eye became shadowy.

Instinct still drives Shi Yu to keep moving forward, letting the strong wind and fierce sound hit his body. The wind is like the iron chain of a cruel official, mercilessly beating a prisoner like a walking corpse, and it hits Shi Yu's body hard; the sound is like the sharp knife of a cold-blooded thug, deep and deep.

Like piercing the body of an innocent person, it penetrated deeply into Shi Yu's ear holes.

Shi Yu no longer had the ability to think about anything else, he could only resist tenaciously everything that hurt his soul, just like a weed in the wind, trembling violently involuntarily.

Lowering his head, bowing, bending his legs, protecting his eyes with his left arm, and holding the Tao tree tightly with his right arm, Shi Yu slowly wriggled forward like a dying beetle, and the breath of death turned into an invisible thick fog at this moment.

enveloped him.

The pain of splitting body and mind made Shi Yu's deep-rooted numbness finally start to throb, and his thoughts became slightly more active.

He stopped walking and looked hard at the buildings on the side, hoping to find a shelter from the wind.

"Why have I never thought about seeing what is in these tall buildings? Why have I never even thought about getting close before?" Shi Yu asked himself, his hands touching the door leaf and pushing it open with force.

The door has been opened, but the object has not appeared.

There is only darkness inside the door, and even the door leaf pushed in is not visible. There seems to be a black curtain along the threshold that separates the two worlds inside and outside, one is gray and the other is dark, the realm is clear.

Shi Yu put his hand in the door, only to see his palm touching the threshold and disappearing immediately. The arm-length cut was tightly attached to the black screen. Looking at all this in a daze, Shi Yu hesitated. The situation outside the door was so bad.

, what about inside the door? The hand that reaches in feels the same as usual, but if he really goes in, will it be peaceful? Can it give him a place to take refuge temporarily?

Perhaps it was Shi Yu's rash actions that awakened the owner of this world. A pair of giant eyes suddenly opened in the high sky, fixed directly on Shi Yu's body. The giant eyes covered almost half of the sky, with only the pupils

, nothing else was seen. The red-yellow pupils were covered with bright red bloodshot eyes, and the pupils as black as jet ink expanded and contracted from time to time according to Shi Yu's movements.

Everything in the world disappears under the gaze of these giant eyes!

The buildings disappeared, the grass and trees disappeared, and the sound of the wind disappeared immediately. Only Shi Yu still stood in the void, stretching out a hand. A black line appeared under Shi Yu's arm, crossing the

(This chapter is not finished, please turn the page)

The position of the threshold seemed to tell Shi Yu that it was this line that separated the two spaces a moment ago.

Shi Yu woke up instantly. He suddenly retracted his arms and looked around. He felt that everything in the world just now was compressed into the present. The whole world suddenly turned into an endless scroll hanging in the void, and he stood on the scroll.

The scroll is extremely simple, consisting of dots and lines of varying thicknesses intertwined with each other.

In this new world, there are no secrets in Shi Yu's eyes. Some are entangled with each other and remain motionless, dividing the whole picture into different areas; while some lines are taking shape and changing on their own, sometimes discrete, sometimes closed, and discrete.

The distance gradually fades away, and between opening and closing, there is vivid activity. If you look closely, it is obvious that each little life is jumping for joy, like countless people running around, and like countless animals and birds dancing together...

Mountains, rivers, stars and oceans, everything can be traced in the lines. But the street Shi Yu walked on just now has no trace at all in the scroll.

Shi Yu seemed to see the graffiti made by his ignorant young self on the ground using branches to smear, cut and scatter as he pleased when it cleared up after the rain.

The difference is that the picture in front of you is obviously more rigorous and more vivid. A brand new world is unfolding, where there is life of its own and its own splendor! And everything in this world seems not to have noticed at all.

Yu's existence is still free and self-sufficient.

Shi Yu was completely attracted by everything under his feet. Although he was only standing in a corner of the world, he could see any corner and every detail of the world at will. Whenever he set his sight, he wanted to take a close look at the unreachable things.

His body can reach the border area in an instant.

This magical scene deeply shocked Shi Yu. He stood quietly for a moment and involuntarily stretched out his hand to touch a line in front of him. He wanted to find out what everything in front of him was. This root had life.

What do the lines mean to you?

The line gradually bent and then broke. Shi Yu seemed to hear a "bang" sound, as if he had broken a bowstring. This small touch caused everything around the line to become disordered, the closed shape fell apart, and the surrounding

The living creatures seemed to be running around in fear.

Shi Yu looked at all this and suddenly felt that he had become a god and could control the fate of everything in front of him. His mood suddenly became brighter at this moment. He looked at the two shadows chasing and playing in another place.

He was eager to stretch out his fingers again and realize the power of the true God again.

The giant eye in the sky had already been angered by Shi Yu's reckless behavior. It no longer just looked at Shi Yu, but patrolled the entire picture.

He was obviously annoyed by the insignificant changes in this huge picture.

A black hole suddenly appeared next to the giant eye, and a huge mountain fell rapidly. It was changing all the time, sometimes round, sometimes square, sometimes thick, sometimes thin. It was said to be a mountain, but it was not like a meteorite that was unified in size and bounded, but endless.

Stretching down from the black hole, heading straight towards time and space.

Shi Yu was still unaware, and everything in the air was strong but silent. He was still looking at the scene he wanted to erase with concentration, and slowly tapped it with his fingers.

When the endless mountain falling from high altitude was about to reach Shi Yu Tianling, he felt his whole body tense up.

He suddenly raised his neck, and in a panic he saw only a half-exposed scarlet eye and a huge giant meteorite in the sky.

"Ah~~~~!" Howling miserably, Shi Yu immediately retracted his arms and protected his head with both hands, waving them in vain, hoping that this pointless struggle could alleviate the pain and fear before death, but his thin body was too weak to bear.

Before this unparalleled destruction, nothing is as good as a speck of dust.

Irresistible force instantly oppressed Shi Yu, and the scroll shrank and disappeared in an instant, leaving only a pair of giant scarlet eyes and a giant mountain in the vast void.

Darkness falls and everything turns to ashes.
