Chapter Twenty-Seven

"Ahya."

Xie Jie stared at Ahaya with dangerous and obscure eyes, and his voice was hoarse and low.

He pressed his long knuckles on the back of Ahaya's neck and rubbed it gently, ambiguously but with restraint.

"Get dressed."

Obviously, if you continue to flirt with me, I'm afraid it will overturn.

Ahaya snorted, not really prepared to let the tyrant eat meat, so she stopped when she was ready and pulled up her clothes.

She glanced outside the door, frowned slightly, paused, squatted down, stirred the water in the basin, and made some washing noises.

"Your Majesty...can you wipe yourself too?"

She stared at the door, pricking up her ears to carefully capture every sound in the dark night, and deliberately asked Xie Jie.

She also wanted to believe in her own people. But the fact was that Teji was too kind to them, a fake couple who had fled.

Showing courtesy for nothing is either a traitor or a thief. Whether the bath water is a temptation or something else, there is always a trick. It is better to send troops to block it, and the water will come to cover it up.

Xie Jie sat on the kang, his eyes dark and emotionless.

He didn't move, just responded casually.

"good."

Before she finished speaking, Ahaya heard a rustling sound coming from outside the door.

Obviously, Tej is gone.

She slowly breathed a sigh of relief, her eyes filled with thoughts, and her fingertips in the water unconsciously moved slightly, creating a layer of ripples.

"ah!"

A scorching temperature suddenly hit her behind, which startled Ahaya.

She turned her head, only to see Xie Jie silently standing behind her at some point. At this time, he bent down slightly, crossed her arms and fell into the water.

"You, what are you doing?"

This posture made Ahaya almost trapped in his arms, and she was under the king's domineering control in all directions.

Her cheeks turned red and her voice was as weak as a mosquito.

"Wipe yourself."

Xie Jie answered seriously, as if he wasn't the one holding Ahaya down to prevent her from breaking free.

Pooh!

Akhya choked, pursed her lips, and lowered her eyes with a groan, but she was cursing secretly in her heart.

What a petty tyrant! He had obviously been tricked by her just now, and now he was looking for something to do.

The sweetness given to Xie Jie today was already too much, and she was not very happy about it, but according to her pretended temperament, she couldn't forcefully break away.

When I was in a dilemma, there was a knock on the door.

"Have you finished washing?"

It's Teji.

Ahaya breathed a sigh of relief, stood up immediately, and calmly took two steps away from Xie Jie, her face flushed, as if she was embarrassed.

She straightened her clothes, then turned around and pulled Xie Jie's clothes apart a little for revenge, and then raised her voice to answer.

"Okay, come in."

Helplessness flashed in Xie Jie's eyes, and he let her temper go, but when his eyes fell on Teji who pushed the door open, his eyes became a little colder and murderous.

Apparently, he took the unhappiness of not being able to eat meat and took it out on this hidden person with ulterior motives.

Teji felt a chill on his back, and subconsciously looked at Xie Jie with vigilant eyes, but quickly calmed down.

"This is the dress that my grandma made before her daughter got married. She didn't take it with her."

What he brought were two sets of clothes. He first spoke to Ahaya, and then placed another set of men's clothes on the kang, "This is my new one. I haven't worn it yet. You can put it on."

"How can you be so embarrassed?" Ahaya's eyes moved slightly and she declined politely.

"You have blood on your body." Teji pointed out bluntly, "Put it on. I took you in, not because I want to get into trouble."

This reason was so reasonable that Ahaya could not find any excuse to refuse.

Her eyes fell on the two sets of clothes. She was still thinking when she heard Xie Jie say.

"Thank you."

This is what happened.

Aheya was startled, and looked up at Xie Jie. Seeing the curve of the corners of his mouth, she couldn't help but tighten her lips and sighed in her heart.

His expression was all too familiar to her. It was clearly murderous.

Teji didn't expect that he would agree so readily. He was stunned for a moment before adding: "I will help you get rid of the clothes you changed to avoid leaving any traces."

"good."

Xie Jie agreed without even thinking about it.

Even Ahaya was a little startled now. She pulled Xie Jie's sleeve and signaled him to think again with her eyes.

This Teji looks uneasy and kind-hearted at first glance. There might be something wrong with those two sets of clothes. Why is he still jumping into other people's traps?

Xie Jie ignored her hint, but looked at Teji with a half-smile, and said in an incomprehensible tone: "We will put the changed clothes outside the door with the basin, is there anything else?"

"No more." Teji was suspicious in his heart, but he couldn't show it, so he could only show a simple smile, "Don't blame me for being worried, I'm really scared. Have a good rest."

After he finished speaking, he closed the door and went out.

Xie Jie didn't do any ink, so he stretched out his hand and started to take off his clothes. Ahaya was stunned for a while before she remembered to hold his hand down.

"No!" Aheya lowered her voice, a little anxious, "Do you really want to wear the clothes he gave you?"

"Why don't you wear it?" Xie Jie curled his lips and asked her.

"because……"

Ahya stays longer.

She couldn't think of anything that could be done by changing her clothes, but since she couldn't figure out the way, then what the enemy wanted to do, she had to do everything possible to prevent him from doing it!

"Because he is afraid that I have some back-up plan." Xie Jie's eyes fell on Aheya, and he patiently explained to her while pulling out a soft sword from his waist.

This backhand is himself.

He didn't bring a knife with him when he came, but even so, those people were still afraid of him as a killer.

A bit of sarcasm flashed in Xie Jie's eyes, and he threw the soft sword to Aheya: "Put it away, this is the last weapon I have."

"Your Majesty, don't you keep it yourself?" Ahaya couldn't keep up with his thoughts and frowned slightly, "This sword is more useful to you than to me."

"After all you have done, how can you leave such an obvious flaw?" Xie Jie laughed inexplicably, "Go and take a look at the set of clothes left for me."

Ahaya paused and stretched out his hand to spread the men's clothes on the kang.

At a glance, it can be seen that the clothes are not commensurate with Xie Jie's stature. They are made of narrow sleeves suitable for working. At first glance, you don't notice the difference. However, if you look closely, you can find that there is not even a place to hide anything.

Ahaya reacted immediately, frowning, a little confused.

"Since you know something is wrong, why did your Majesty still agree to him?"

Xie Jie chuckled, seeming very happy, but his eyes were full of evil spirits.

"Wouldn't it be boring to tell him that there is no hope from the beginning?"

"It's natural to see him become complacent and think everything is under control... and then let him fall into the mud."

Ahaya looked at his face and suddenly felt a chill in her back.

She saw that his eyes were like bottomless pools, which made her heart tremble.

Xie Jie's fingertips fell on the suit of clothes, his lips curled up, and his tone was light.

"Ahaya, are you scared?"
