The melodious sound of bells in the distance came faintly again.
Boom...boom...boom...boom...
Morning bells and evening drums, day after day, seem to have no end.
Every day seems to be exactly the same as yesterday. Some people feel bored, while others feel at ease. The long years, whether long or short, are all in people's hearts.
Somehow, in just one month, Xie Heng seemed to have integrated into this strange environment. He felt the Buddhist charm that was completely different from Kunlun Mountain every day, and seemed to have a different understanding.
When he was recovering from his injuries in Fahua Temple, I don't know if he got the instructions from Bodhisattva Zhiren. Monk Kongchan was also extremely generous to Xie Heng. He was not stingy with all the elixirs and medicines and used them on him at will.
Based on Fahua Temple's status and reputation in the world of immortality, the wonderful medicine and elixir in the temple are among the best in the world. The effect of the medicine was rapid, and he recovered from his injuries very quickly. He was originally treated by Shu Cang.
His innate magical power, and the scars all over his body from the Nine Nether Blood Thunder bombardment, had long since disappeared.
After all, Xie Heng was young and had an excellent physical condition. Although he was seriously injured, Yuan Qi continued to recover under the flowing elixir.
Moreover, his own cultivation level has reached the peak state of the foundation building stage, reaching the legendary half-step perfection state. It makes him recover faster than ordinary Qi practitioners.
Within a month, Xie Heng was already able to walk around.
However, Shu Cang is an ancient beast after all, and its cultivation level is completely different by two realms. Even with the magic weapon to protect him, Xie Heng's vitality was severely damaged. After taking a few steps, he was out of breath.
However, this made Kong Chan and others who came to see him very happy and praised him, saying that they had never seen a person recover so quickly in the past, and it seemed that he would be fully recovered within a few months.
But whenever he saw Qingmu who became a little taciturn, Xie Heng couldn't help but feel sad.
Whenever he thought of Donghua protecting Qingmu with his own life in the bloody thunder, Xie Heng's heart felt as if he had been stabbed hard.
"Uncle Master, can Aoki see Master again? I, I miss Master."
Seeing Qingmu's hopeful eyes looking at him, Xie Heng suddenly didn't dare to look directly, so he could only bite the bullet and said:
"Aoki, your master respects him, he, he..."
"Uncle Master, I understand. I will never see Master again, right?"
"I can't see Senior Brother Donghua anymore, can I?"
"Why? Uncle Master, Aoki misses them so much. He really misses them."
Seeing Qingmu's tears falling, Xie Heng didn't know what to do for a moment. He just hugged Xiao Qingmu and whispered:
"Don't worry, Qingmu, my uncle will avenge them, he will definitely do it."
"But, uncle, Qingmu, Qingmu doesn't want revenge. Qingmu just wants his master to come back, he just wants his senior brother Donghua to come back, he just wants the many senior brothers in Qingyang Palace to come back."
"Aoki, I don't want revenge, I don't want revenge, I just want them all to come back, uncle. Aoki wants them to come back. Wuwuwu."
Xie Heng looked at Qingmu's grief-stricken look and cried silently. At the same time, his hatred for Shu Cang became deeper and deeper.
In these years, it was the first time that Xie Heng hated a person or a demon clan so much.
At this time, in Xie Heng's heart, he hated those evil heretics even more.
Xie Heng's state of mind has also changed unknowingly. From being peaceful and peaceful at the beginning, to now he is extremely evil and has a deep prejudice against monsters and monsters.
This may be the price of growth. It is also something that must be experienced when going down the mountain.
As time went by, and after spending several months in this Fahua Temple, Xie Heng's health gradually improved.
Perhaps because he is still too young, the young man's sadness does not last long. Aoki gradually regained his vitality from his dullness. He had a great time with Xiaobai and the young monk Kongyuan.
.
"Amitabha. It seems that fellow Taoist's injury is almost healed."
When Xie Heng heard this, he knew that the honest monk was here.
"I've met Taoist Brother Kongchan."
After such a long period of contact, Xie Heng no longer had any grudge against this contemporary Buddhist disciple of Fahua Temple, but had a slight fondness for him. The verbal title also changed from "fellow Taoist" to "fellow Taoist" today.
Brother Tao".
Xie Heng looked at Xiaobai and others playing not far away, with no expression on his face and his voice was unexpectedly low.
"I dare to ask, brother, I wonder when Xie can see your respected master?"
Hearing Xie Heng call him "Brother Taoist", Monk Kongchan also raised the corner of his mouth slightly.
"Now."
Xie Heng frowned suddenly, turned to look at Kong Chan, who had a calm face, and said doubtfully:
"Now?"
Monk Kongchan smiled slightly and said:
"Fellow Taoist, since your injury is now well, please follow the young monk out."
"go out?"
Xie Heng frowned, then raised his eyebrows and said:
"Why, could it be Bodhisattva Zhiren..."
Monk Kongchan nodded and said:
"Exactly, my master is very happy to hear that you have recovered. He asked me to come over today and have a look. If my fellow Taoist is not tired, I can meet you."
Monk Kongchan looked at Xie Heng and paused slightly.
"I don't know what you think, fellow Taoist?"
Xie Heng stared at Monk Kongchan for a long time, then suddenly smiled and said:
"Okay, okay, okay, I have been waiting for this day for a long time. Of course I want to see the Bodhisattva."
"Not to mention that I am well, even if I am still lying in bed that day, as long as the Bodhisattva is willing, I will crawl to see him."
Kong Chan naturally knew that Xie Heng's words must be because of the disaster in Jinguan City, and he was angry at Fahua Temple. Therefore, he was not angry, clasped his hands and said:
"Fellow Taoist, your words are serious, please come with me."
Walking out of Lihenyuan, there is a passage about two feet long and four feet wide, with red walls on both sides, as high as two people, and green glazed tiles on the top. At the end of the passage is a circular arch.
As I approached the arch, I could faintly hear the sound of monks reciting scriptures from outside.
Xie Heng had just walked out of the arch, and suddenly the door opened up, but he saw white marble stones, paved fields, and stone layers stacked in groups of nine, which connected up to the Hall of Wisdom, which was as high as ninety-nine and eighty-one groups.
Between the jade railings, you can see the majestic and extremely tall palace. In front of the palace, thirteen huge stone pillars rise to the sky, more than ten feet high. The top of the palace is magnificent, with eight roof ridges equally divided on it, each carved in the shape of a dragon's head.
In front of the dragon head on the roof eaves, ten auspicious beasts are carved, each with different shapes and lifelike shapes.
The various carvings of His Highness are gorgeous and exquisite, far beyond the imagination of the world, and cannot be made by anyone.
Behind the Wisdom Hall, on both sides and in front, there are towering halls connected to each other, either connected by squares or connected by winding paths, and some are directly connected together, layered on top of each other.
For spectacular.
After passing through the Hall of Wisdom, Xie Heng followed Monk Kongchan and walked all the way back to a courtyard in the back mountain that could only be accessed three times. However, there was a plaque reading "Pure Courtyard" hanging on the door of the courtyard.
Feeling the strong Buddhist charm flowing here, I understood in my heart that this place should be the place where the most powerful person in Jinding Cave Heaven and the 120th generation leader of Fahua Temple, the Supreme Zhiren Bodhisattva, practiced and lived.
I saw a dense forest of green pines and bamboos around the pure courtyard. The mountain wind blew through and the loose bamboos swayed, creating an indescribable sense of tranquility and elegance.
Although the courtyard here is clean, it is also the place with the strongest Buddhist charm in the entire Jinding Cave. The heaven and earth are reverberating with Buddhism's unique heaven and earth energy, and mixed with this wisp of sandalwood scent, it has a unique flavor.
Xie Heng stared into the distance for a long time, in a daze, not knowing what he was thinking. After a long time, he turned around and Kong Chan nodded and led him into the Pure House.
The two of them passed through the central Buddhist hall, turned two turns to the right, and walked into the back hall, which was a Zen room. Kong Chan walked forward and said loudly:
"Master, fellow Taoist Xie Heng has arrived."
An old but kind voice immediately sounded in the Zen room, saying:
"Please come in!"
Kong Chan turned around and made a gesture of invitation to Xie Heng.
Xie Heng followed Kong Chan into the Zen room and took a look around. The Zen room was simple and unpretentious, and all the furnishings were almost exactly the same as the Zen room where he was recuperating at the foot of the mountain.
When Xie Heng and the two opened the door, a skinny old monk with a kind face opened his ancient eyes. He smiled slightly at Xie Heng. In his hand, he played with a string of green rosary beads from time to time.
.
It is none other than Bodhisattva Zhiren, one of the four great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism in the world of immortality today, and the supreme leader of Fahua Temple.
After Xie Heng entered the room, for some reason, when he saw the legendary Bodhisattva Zhiren who was famous for his wisdom, his originally restless mind calmed down inexplicably.
Xie Heng was grateful to the other party for saving his life and quickly bowed and saluted.
"Junior, Xie Heng, the fourth disciple of Xuantian Palace in Kunlun Mountain, has met Zhiren Bodhisattva."
"Thank you Bodhisattva for curing my soul and using your great supernatural power to pull this junior out of that terrible nightmare."
Zhiren Bodhisattva looked at Xie Heng's brows with murderous intention that never dissipated, and sighed slightly in his heart.
"Haha, little friend Xie Heng, there is no need to be formal. The three religions are one family, so there is no need to be so lavish. Please sit down."
When he heard Bodhisattva Zhiren suddenly say that the three religions are originally one family, Xie Heng felt a little confused.
However, Xie Heng knew in his heart that now was not the time to talk about this. He just looked at the Bodhisattva Zhiren, who was known as the most wise man of the three religions, and said nothing.
Bodhisattva Zhiren looked at Xie Heng carefully, from top to bottom, his eyes were deep, and the rosary in his hand was gently turning, and he said for a long time:
"Little friend, you must have something to ask me?"
Hearing this, Xie Heng immediately nodded and said:
"The Bodhisattva's Clear Mirror."
"This junior is very curious as to why Fahua Temple did not kill Shu Cang when he was sealed, nor did he assist Qingyang Palace in reinforcing the demon-suppressing formation."
"It wasn't until that evil beast had caused a catastrophic disaster that..."
"Haha, you just sent someone to check it out hypocritically, right?"
Zhiren Bodhisattva took over the conversation with a smile and said.
Xie Heng sat aside, pursed his lips and said nothing, but stared intently at the skinny monk in front of him with a pair of kind eyes.
Seeing Xie Heng's expression, Zhiren Bodhisattva didn't take it seriously. As if reminiscing, he said slowly after a long while:
"Actually, when Shu Cang was sealed, the poor monk was also present."
As soon as Zhiren Bodhisattva said these words, Monk Kongchan, who was standing beside him, suddenly had a strange look on his face.
Xie Heng's expression changed drastically and he was about to stand up and say something.
Zhiren Bodhisattva faced Xie Heng and pressed lightly in the air. In an instant, Xie Heng was restrained by an invisible force and had no choice but to endure and listen.
Seeing this, Bodhisattva Zhiren also smiled slightly and continued:
"Ten thousand years ago, for some reason, Shu Cang, who was already at the peak of Hunyuan Realm, was seriously injured. He even fled to the border of Western Shu."
At this moment, Bodhisattva Zhiren seemed to have returned to the time ten thousand years ago, with a sigh and sigh on his face.
Looking at Kong Chan and Xie Heng who were slightly puzzled, he asked with a smile:
"You are thinking, what is the peak of the Hunyuan realm of the demon clan?"
Kong Chan and Xie Heng looked at each other, then nodded silently.
Upon seeing this, Bodhisattva Zhiren slowly explained the similarities and differences between the practices of the demon race and the human race. Xie Heng and Kong Chan even felt the mystery of the world.
"Do you know that since Taoist ancestors preached to the world, all living beings in the world have finally learned the mystery of cultivation."
"After countless years of exploration, many sages of the human race have finally established this path of cultivation that conforms to the rules of heaven. The same is true for the demon race."
"However, the human race and the demon race are inherently different. These two paths of cultivation are even more different."
Looking at the two extremely outstanding juniors in front of him, Zhiren Bodhisattva seemed to be intending to teach. He asked softly:
"Do you know the difference between the cultivation paths of the human and demon races?"
Hearing Zhiren Bodhisattva's question, Kong Chan and Xie Heng both looked at each other.
The two young people in the Zen room couldn't help but sit up straight and listen carefully.
I heard Bodhisattva Zhiren saying slowly:
"Since ancient times, the human race has been the protagonist of heaven and earth. Therefore, the innate body is the innate Taoist body. Based on this characteristic, many sages of the human race finally figured out the five stages of cultivating immortals and practicing Taoism, with a total of sixteen levels."
"They are the first stage of foundation building. There are four realms, namely, the realm of inquiry, the realm of seeking the Tao, the realm of entering the Tao, and the realm of learning the Tao."
"The second stage is the stage of refining and transforming Qi. There are four levels of realms, namely, the realm of enlightenment, the realm of touching the Tao, the realm of cultivating the Tao, and the realm of attaining the Tao. Many Qi practitioners cannot cross that threshold in their lifetime."
"When you reach the second stage of cultivation, you can be called a great monk."
"The third stage is the stage of refining Qi and transforming into God. There are three realms, the realm of forgetfulness, the realm of renunciation, and the realm of enlightenment. Anyone who can truly enter the third stage of practice is a truly advanced person."
Having said this, Bodhisattva Zhiren paused slightly and continued.
"Generally, when one reaches the third stage of forgetfulness, it can be called true moral cultivation."
"The fourth stage is the stage of refining the gods and fighting against the void. There are two realms, the alchemy realm and the human realm."
"Qi practitioners who have truly reached the fourth stage of cultivation are the powerful people in the world of immortality. They are qualified to become the leader or elder of the Immortal Sect."
"And there are differences between great powers."
"According to rumors, the cultivation of the human realm is divided into nine steps. Each step is a step. Those who can truly reach the ninth step will have the opportunity to look at the fifth stage of cultivation, Lianxuhedao."
"The last stage is to refine the virtual world and combine it with the Tao. There are three realms, namely the Immortal Realm, the Earthly Realm, and the Heavenly Realm."
Having said this, Bodhisattva Zhiren's face was filled with yearning, and the jade rosary in his hand involuntarily sped up a bit.
"It is said that any Qi practitioner who can truly survive the immeasurable catastrophes and achieve the realm of immortality can truly live forever and become a living god."
Having said this, Xie Heng couldn't help but ask:
"Then, what about the last two realms?"
Looking at the two juniors who were full of expectations, Zhiren Bodhisattva smiled slightly.
"As for the two realms above the Immortal Realm, for hundreds of thousands of years, except for Emperor Zhuanxu who reached the Heavenly Realm, no one has been able to achieve that supreme realm, let alone know the mysteries involved."
Hearing this, Kong Chan and Xie Heng couldn't help but sigh, the path to immortality is indistinct and the road is far away. Practicing Qi warriors is so insignificant, and they need to always have a long-lasting perseverance and search up and down.
[Author's digression]: At this point, I finally explain the realm of cultivation in this book. The division of cultivation between humans and monsters is completely different. Readers, please pay attention.
