Chapter 31 The conductor

.

"Fu Nian, remember to call me." Su Enxi's slender white fingers were waving quickly across the crowd, and the bright red on her fingertips was like a rose falling among lilies. It was so bright.

"OK." Fu Nian also made an OK gesture through the air, then turned around and followed Manstein towards the other side.

"Boss, please."

A strong man in a black suit helped Su Enxi open the car door. Like a gentleman, he stretched out his hand to help Su Enxi cover the top of the door.

.

Fu Nian looked at Chen Xiaoxiao's bulging cheeks and looked at them again and again curiously.

"What are you looking at!" Chen Xiaoxiao suddenly stopped and his swollen cheeks swelled even more.

"You look so cute like this." Fu Nian looked at her seriously and nodded.

Chen Xiaoxiao's eyes suddenly lit up, and the rain that filled the air suddenly seemed to be swept by the spring breeze. The clouds turned sunny, and the sky was still clear.

"It's a bit like a little white fish blowing bubbles." Fu Nian continued.

"Then do you like little white fish?"

"I don't like it." Fu Nian shook his head decisively.

"Ah, why!"

"It's inedible."

"Oh, that's it." Chen Xiaoxiao looked at Fu Nian's walking back thoughtfully.

.

Under the leadership of Manstein, they headed straight to the train station in Chicago with sparks and lightning.

As for why he didn't just take a taxi and go straight to the academy, Fu Nian asked.

The result is,

"No car?" Fu Nian looked at Manstein and Chen Xiaoxiao in surprise.

"Of course I don't have a car." Manstein said matter-of-factly.

"Kassel College has such a grand goal as slaying the dragon, but it doesn't have a special car to pick it up?"

"There is a private shuttle service, but it only has a fixed location. We are in the outer suburbs of Chicago, and there are generally no buses going there in the city."

"Outskirts?" In Fu Nian's understanding, Kassel has always been an aristocratic college, so shouldn't aristocratic colleges be piled up in the city's most prosperous city center!

"For the sake of the mystery of our business, this is something we and the board of directors have considered carefully," Manstein said righteously with an expression of dedication to his ideals.

Fu Nian didn't even believe his punctuation marks.

But what surprised Fu Nian was that there was actually a private car that was said to be a private car.

They had just arrived at the train station and had not even covered their luggage when they saw a man wearing a dark green conductor's uniform standing at the ticket gate and looking at them with a smile. There was a small golden bell hanging on the conductor's finger that was shaking.

, wearing a golden conductor badge on his hat, holding a credit card machine in one hand, and waving happily at them with the other.

But what surprised Fu Nian was that such a person wearing quaint train clothes could attract the attention of passengers when he appeared in a modern metropolis.

But Fu Nian looked at the flow of people coming and going around him. They all turned a blind eye to the conductor standing at the ticket gate, as if he was a non-existent person.

"It's just the effect of words and spirits." Manstein looked at Fu Nian with a blank look on his face and said inexplicably a little offended.

"Let's go. Our special car will arrive." Chen Xiaoxiao followed behind Manstein, carrying his small bag like a happy elf.

"Oh." Fu Nian quickly picked up the suitcase at his feet, took out the ticket from his bag and walked towards the ticket gate where the conductor was.

drop.

The green light of the card swiping machine in the conductor's hand lights up.

"Welcome home, Professor Manstein." The conductor nodded respectfully towards Manstein.

"Well, thank you for your hard work." Manstein nodded politely in response.

drop.

Chen Xiaoxiao's ticket also lights up normally.

"Welcome back to school, Xiaoxiao." The conductor seemed to know Chen Xiaoxiao, and looked at Chen Xiaoxiao with a sincere smile.

"Why are you so late this time? Are you here before we arrive?" Chen Xiaoxiao looked at the conductor up and down, as if he couldn't believe that he would show up on time.

"When it comes to work, I'm always quite punctual." The conductor's smile became even brighter.

"Tch." Chen Xiaoxiao rolled his eyes with a look of disbelief.

drop.

The conductor took Fu Nian's ticket. The green light also turned on normally.

"Welcome to our college, classmate Fu Nian."

The conductor looked at Fu Nian with bright eyes. He seemed to be curious about Fu Nian's quasi-S-class status. He also seemed to be surprised that it was the first time he saw such a handsome man. Or he was sighing that such a handsome man could still be so handsome.

excellent.

"Hello." Fu Nian imitated Manstein and nodded politely and smiled.

The conductor shifted his position, looked at the crowded train station, glanced around, nodded and turned to leave.

Fu Nian looked at the high-speed train parked in front of him, with the dazzling headlights on the front of the car. The streamlined body was as black as ink, and the snow-white silver vine patterns spread out on the black paint, like bright lights blooming in the dark night sky.

Shooting stars are as gorgeous as a work of art.

Fu Nian slowly walked into the only open sliding door.

The interior of the carriage is in an elegant European style, with Victorian-style patterned wallpapers decorating the walls. The gorgeous irregular colors make it difficult to find where to look at immediately. The portholes are wrapped in solid wood, and a dark green leather sofa is placed on the side of the space.

In the middle is a long oak table in the appropriate color.

"Coffee or hot milk." Manstein walked to the long table and sat down slowly, looking at Fu Nian across from him with a smile.

"Is there warm water?" Fu Nian didn't want to drink anything right now.

Manstein turned to look at the conductor.

"You can have this." The conductor stood behind Manstein with a smile on his face.

"I need a cup of hot milk." Chen Xiaoxiao, who was next to Fu Nian, stretched out his hand.

"OK."

"I'll just have a glass of vodka," Manstein said calmly.

"Professor, this is not good." Chen Xiaoxiao looked at Manstein with strange eyes. "We didn't ask for any special drinks, let alone you doing it in front of us."

"I am doing this to allow the following content to unfold smoothly. To prevent some exaggerated content from being heard and causing unnecessary exclamations." Manstein looked at the top of the carriage perfunctorily and chuckled casually.

"You are the one who can drink." Chen Xiaoxiao said that he didn't like the taste of alcohol at all.

"Exaggerated content?"

Fu Nian tilted his head and looked at Manstein who was being questioned by Chen Xiaoxiao.

Is there anything more exaggerated than having the Dragon King by your side?

"Yes!" Manstein's eyes turned serious.

"But before that, two things need to be done to warm up."

Manstein waved behind him.

The conductor walked out of the car behind him wearing a brand new dark green suit. A white shirt, jet black leather shoes, a collar with thin silver edges, and a deep rose red scarf embroidered with the World Tree emblem of Kassel College.

"This is the uniform prepared by the college for you. Please dress first."
