Chapter Forty-Nine I'm Back

Seeing her empty hands, Feng Muqing was shocked. Even though Jiujiu was a fox, she could still eat some.

The rabbit in Feng Muqing's hand had just started to produce oil, when the old man rushed over with many cleaned small monsters in his hands, and arrived at Feng Muqing's side in the blink of an eye.

Feng Muching took a quick glance at the magical beast that was casually thrown to the ground by the old man, and Feng Muching was extremely shocked.

So fast?

He is worthy of being a powerful person in the Nascent Soul stage!

Ordinary beasts simply cannot survive in the Wuluo Mountains, so the lowest level of magic beasts the old man brought back were second-level magic beasts. However, with the magic beasts all over the ground, it would take an hour no matter how fast it was.

The old man didn't care, just waiting to taste the delicious food.

After drinking and eating, the old man looked satisfied, touched his somewhat bulging belly with satisfaction, and smacked his lips.

"You girl have two brushes. If the old man's belly wasn't big enough, he would really want to eat another meal."

"You can hold on until you die." Jiujiu rolled her eyes.

She originally thought she had an amazing appetite, but she didn't expect that this strange old man who appeared out of nowhere could eat better than her. If she hadn't known that he was a human, she would have suspected that he was an edible monster.

Even Feng Muqing was shocked by the old man's appetite. This was the first time she had seen an old man who could eat so much, and she was not afraid of getting bored.

"Speaking of which, you are the first girl in history to eat Warcraft. How do you know that Warcraft's meat is tender and delicious?"

Feng Muqing just smiled and said nothing. She couldn't tell him that he was forced by several high-level magic beasts.

At first, she was taught by Jiujiu's friends in turns, and she had nothing else to satisfy her hunger. She was forced to try roasting the World of Warcraft, but unexpectedly, she accidentally unearthed a delicious dish.

From that time on, whenever she had free time, those monsters would catch her and roast the monsters to eat, thus she developed this cooking skill.

This should be...barely considered cooking, right?

Seeing that Feng Muqing didn't answer, the old man didn't force himself to do anything. He rolled his eyes, took out a token and stuffed it into Feng Muqing's hand.

"The old man doesn't eat your food for free. This is regarded as a reward from the old man. If you go to Tianfu Academy in the future, this token will be of great use."

"Senior, you can't..."

"It doesn't matter, it's not something important. Let's go."

Before he finished speaking, the old man disappeared in an instant. If it weren't for the pile of bones on the ground, everyone would probably suspect that it was just a dream.

"The bad old man's cultivation level is not bad, but he is too good at eating." Jiujiu sighed suddenly.

She hasn't left the Wuluo Mountains yet, and she has met either Ji Zhu or Yuanying. Think about it, when she first met Feng Muqing, she was a seventh-level Qi practitioner.

I really don't know if God saw her as being too carefree and targeted her specifically. Fortunately, Feng Muching is not useless. Apart from her poor cultivation, everything else is pretty good.

Feng Muching looked at the token in her hand repeatedly. It was ordinary. There was only the word "Ji" on it. It couldn't be more casual.

Jiujiu also came up to Feng Muching and looked at the token, curling her lips, "That's it? The smelly old man is not trying to trick you, right?"

Feng Muching shook her head, put away the token and closed her eyes to rest, "Go to bed early. Only when you are full will you have the energy to settle accounts."

As the morning light broke, Feng Muching and Jiujiu returned to Kyoto. Looking at the bustling streets, Jiujiu beamed with joy.

Is the world outside so lively?

She has really wasted a lot of time over the years!

Two stunning beauties appeared on the street and instantly attracted everyone's attention. There was a sound of inhalation. The two figures, one red and one white, were completely different, but they were exceptionally harmonious.

"That woman in white is so beautiful, she looks like a nine-day fairy."

"The woman in red next to her is not bad either, she's on par with her."

"Why does this woman in red look familiar?"

"Yeah, I feel like I've seen it somewhere before."

People around were whispering, but Feng Muching and Jiujiu could hear it clearly. Jiujiu looked around curiously, and couldn't help teasing, "They all know you?"

Feng Muching shook her head and nodded again after a moment.

She also stood out like this on the Mangedai. That day, there were not only the people of Kyoto, but also people from other countries who came inexplicably.

Therefore, people who are familiar with her probably think of that day at Wanhua Terrace.

"You can't tell, you're quite likable."

Feng Muqing smiled but said nothing.

"Feng Muqing, didn't you say you wanted to buy me a set of clothes earlier? Are you going now?" Jiujiu grabbed Feng Muqing's arm and said happily.

Feng Muching stiffened and smiled awkwardly.

Seeing this, Jiujiu couldn't believe it, "You don't want to buy it for me, do you?!"

When Jiujiu was in the Wuluo Mountains, she discovered that people outside seemed to like wearing white clothes. Although she was a white fox, she didn't like to wear the same clothes as them, as it didn't highlight her beauty.

How did she know that since the two of them stepped into Kyoto, many people's ideas would attract them along the way.

Fortunately, it was early in the morning and there were not many people on the street, otherwise the news would have spread throughout Kyoto in just a moment.

"I've been staying in the Wuluo Mountains for a long time. I don't have any money. I'll buy it for you when I get back home." Feng Muqing leaned forward and whispered in Jiujiu's ear.

When the situation was urgent, how could she have any money with her?

Jiujiu Maosai suddenly opened her eyes. Thinking of new clothes, she quickly urged, "Then what are you waiting for? Why don't you go back quickly."

"Eh? Isn't that the regent princess!"

"Yes, yes, that's the Princess Regent. I saw her clearly at Wanhua Terrace."

Suddenly, someone recognized Feng Muqing.

Feng Muqing was shocked, but it happened that Jiujiu was urging her from the side, and Feng Muqing arrived at the Regent's Palace as quickly as possible.

Looking at the magnificent and solemn mansion in front of her, Jiujiu exclaimed, "I didn't expect your home to be quite big."

The monsters in the Wuluo Mountains always find some hidden caves to live in. This is Jiujiu's first time out of the mountains, so naturally she has never seen a human residence.

When the two gatekeepers at the Prince Regent's Palace saw Feng Muching suddenly appearing, their minds went blank for a moment, and then they were overjoyed.

"Princess, you are back, please come in quickly." A guard respectfully welcomed Feng Muqing in. He glanced at Jiujiu and saw that she was brought by Feng Muqing, so he did not stop her.

Another guard rushed into the house and went to the study to report the news.

Since the disappearance of the princess, the prince has turned Kyoto upside down. The entire palace has become lifeless, and Mo Yue, who was not properly protected, was even more punished.

Now that the princess is back, everyone is happy.

Feng Muqing led Jiujiu back to the courtyard, and just halfway there, she met Jun Ruye who was coming in a hurry.

Seeing the familiar figure, Jun Ruye's eyes were slightly red. He couldn't believe it, but he couldn't believe that she appeared so suddenly.

He had dreamed of this scene in his dreams for countless nights. Now that this scene appeared in front of him, he hesitated, fearing that it was just a dream.

When I woke up from the dream, it was still a cold night, alone and dejected.

Unexpectedly, Jun Ruye came so quickly. Feng Muqing was slightly surprised, then smiled.

"I'm back."
