Chapter 1405 Priceless Treasure

The small bowl in Lu Fei's hand is about seven centimeters high, with an open mouth, a diameter of nine centimeters, and a full diameter of four centimeters.

With a flick of his finger, it made a crisp sound like a copper chime.

The body is as thin as paper, and the glaze is even and oily, like jade, glowing with precious light.

Under the flashlight light, the carcass is extremely transparent.

Even in the opposite direction, you can see the outline of your fingers through the two layers of sidewalls.

Sound like a chime!

Bright as a mirror!

As thin as paper!

As blue as the sky! ??

This is the Shenci Chai Kiln!

A legend that can never be replicated.

Its appearance is not only a coincidence, but also the crystallization of the wisdom of the craftsmen.

Chai kiln porcelain is actually a type of Jun porcelain, and it can also be said to be the sublimation of Jun porcelain.

Xinmi Platform in Zhengzhou City, formerly known as "Yangzi Terrace", was a city in the Zheng Kingdom during the Spring and Autumn Period.

The local area is rich in coal, aluminum stone, clay, limestone, jade and jadeite. Clay and jadeite are excellent raw materials for firing Jun porcelain.

Yuetai Village is located on the branch of Songshan Mountain and close to the Wei River. There is a large mulberry forest growing there. The mulberry trees are the best fuel for firing Jun porcelain.

All these make this place have unique conditions for firing Jun porcelain.

Since the Tang Dynasty, Jun porcelain has been fired here.

In the Later Zhou Dynasty, Zhou Shizong Chai Rong established a group of official kilns here that specialized in firing Jun porcelain supplies for the imperial palace.

Chai Rong's younger brother Chai Gui was the defense envoy of Guozhou and gave the platform to him. Chai Rong ordered Chai Gui to supervise the firing of Jun porcelain. The kiln for firing Jun porcelain was called "Jun porcelain firewood kiln".

Chai Rong stipulated that qualified Jun porcelain after being fired could only be used in the palace, and all defective products were destroyed on the spot and were not allowed to flow into the private sector.

In order to ensure quality, Chai Gui mobilizes the best craftsmen and artists among the people to carefully design and strictly formulate, constantly improves the process, and improves product quality.

and creatively mixed it into the glaze mud
Incorporating agate, jade, gold and other raw materials, it combines scientific formula, fire control, smooth lines, pattern shapes, the fashion of the times and the perception of the human soul.

After Zhao Kuangyin and Chen Qiao mutinied and established the Song Dynasty, he advocated diligence and thrift and opposed extravagance and waste.

Once, he personally inspected the inner treasury and found that the various utensils brought back from the palace of Meng Chang, Lord of Shu, were extremely luxurious and gorgeous. Even a small urinal was decorated with seven treasures.

Zhao Kuangyin was filled with emotion and sighed to his ministers: "If you are a master, you are so corrupt. How can you not destroy your country and your family? I, the Song Dynasty, should take this as a warning!"

Immediately ordered that the priceless instruments be moved to the courtyard and smashed.

Later, Zhao Kuangyin went to Zhongyue Temple in Songshan Mountain to offer incense. When he returned, he passed by the platform to inspect the official kiln built by Chai Rong.

In order to watch carefully, he stayed on the platform at night.

That night, under the pretext of admiring the moon, he went up to the balcony to overlook the panoramic view.

Sure enough, both sides of the Mishui River were brightly lit, filled with smoke, and bustling with people coming and going.

Later, people changed the name of "balcony terrace" to "platform".

After Zhao Kuangyin returned to Bianjing, he immediately issued an imperial edict, ordering the closure of these expensive, polluting, and environmentally damaging firewood kilns and the dismissal of craftsmen.

Some of the dismissed craftsmen lived in Shenzhu, Yuzhou. Because they had the skills to make porcelain and had to make a living, they slowly began to make porcelain again, which became the now famous Jun porcelain.

Several ordeals were a devastating blow to Shenci Chai Kiln.

What is certain is that there must be some that have survived.

But it is also a rare existence that is extremely cherished.

So much so that it becomes a luxury for future generations to see it with their own eyes.

In the third year of Xuande in the Ming Dynasty, "Xuande Ding Yi Pu" compiled by Lu Zhen records: "...the inner government collects firewood, Ru, Guan, Ge, Jun, named kiln utensils, those with elegant styles, write pictures and submit them... The firewood,

You, Guan, Ge, Jun, are determined to win and choose twenty-nine kinds."

"Qing Bai Lei Chao" records that Zhou Zhuqing hid a small firewood kiln bowl; it is also recorded that Xu Yingxiang of the Qing Dynasty collected a firewood kiln small bowl. It is bright green in color and thin in quality, which is rare in the world.

According to "Shuicao Qingxia Lu" written by Wang Qishu of the Qing Dynasty, there are Chai kiln tea cups.

Liang Shaoren of the Qing Dynasty recorded in his "Essays on Liangbian Qiuyu'an" that He Menghua, a man of the Qing Dynasty, bought a piece of wood kiln from Ruan Yuan and used it as an ink bed. The color is green and lovely.

However, the brilliance is extremely dark, and it is suspected that it is mixed with the original from the Jun kiln.

Liu Tiren of the Qing Dynasty recorded what he saw with his own eyes in his "Qi Song Tang Shi Xiao Lu": "The firewood kiln has no complete utensils, and they are slightly out of place. The cloth nunnery shows a wash, round and oval, seven inches in diameter, and dark.

It is deep and the light color is uncertain. 'The sky is blue after the rain' is not enough to describe it. Bu'an said: 'I can see it as crimson blue'."

There were records collected by the Imperial Palace of the Qing Dynasty. In the "Poems in Ode to Porcelain Made by Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty", there are four poems in praise of firewood kiln utensils: two poems in "Ode to Firewood Kiln Bowls", "Ode to Firewood Kiln Pillows", "Ode to Good Wishful Things in Firewood Kiln"

"Pillow" one song each.

Based on these records, you can imagine how precious Chai Kiln porcelain is.

Even Emperor Qianlong, who had countless treasures, had never seen a complete firewood kiln, let alone ordinary people.

During the Republic of China, a shocking incident occurred regarding the firewood kiln.

An article in "Supplementary Research on the Origin of Ancient and Modern Porcelain" published in the 27th year of the Republic of China said: "There was a piece of residual porcelain in an antique shop in Liulichang, which was cut into a garden shape, with a circumference of about three inches, a little thick, and a glaze.

It is light cyan in color, enough light to detect people, and purple sand embryos are exposed around it.

It’s suspected to be Chai Porcelain!”

Once this article was published, it caused a sensation in China.

Countless big collectors and warlords turned Liulichang upside down, but unfortunately they never saw the piece of porcelain.

Former housekeeper of Yuan Shikai
, the great collector Guo Baochang was defrauded of a house, 20 acres of farmland, and a thousand dollars just because of this article.

It caused quite a stir at the time and became a big joke.

Lu Fei, who has lived for two generations, does not dare to have any extravagant hopes for a firewood kiln.

But I never expected that today I would be lucky enough to find the divine porcelain in Yan Shifan's coffin.

Now think about it, only a force like the Yan family can possibly obtain the divine porcelain wood kiln!

At this moment, Lu Fei's blood boiled with excitement.

After taking a sip of water, I carefully wiped the small bowl clean with my clothes.

Then turn on the light and watch carefully every detail.

pretty!

It's absolutely perfect!

There are two dark chrysanthemum patterns on the tire wall, which are perfectly combined with the glaze and are natural and ingenious.

Such skills cannot be replicated even today with advanced technology.

"Xiao Fei!"

"Is this the legendary firewood kiln?" Gao Yuan asked.

"That's right!"

"I am 100% certain that this is divine porcelain, a legend that can never be replicated."

"Brother!"

"Then how much is this little bowl worth?" asked the little puppy.

"Before this, if someone offered me a firewood kiln in exchange for all of Boeing's shares, I would agree without hesitation."

"puff!"

"So expensive?"

"This thing is priceless!"

"Measuring it in terms of money is the greatest insult to it."

"I happened upon Yan Shifan's tomb, and it was your first achievement."

"All the objects I picked up just now are your rewards."
