Chapter 2086 The treasure of Shendetang

Lu Fei really didn't expect that Wade, who always worshiped God, also had an Eastern superstitious side.

He actually believed in the theory of ghosts, and Lu Fei couldn't help laughing.

This game is completely for Westerners.

None of the big guys in China participated in the competition. ??

One is that they don’t know much about Western culture, and the other is that they have completely different beliefs.

Wade was eager to give it a try at first, but in fact it was just a call.

In the end, the stone statue was sold for 1.6 million pounds and was pocketed by John, the chairman of Ruixin Group.

The next two rounds were all antiques from Western civilization. Lu Fei was not interested, and the big bosses in China's collection world were equally indifferent.

In the fifth round, we finally saw the appearance of Shenzhou Antiques.

It is also a glass box with a side length of one meter. The red cloth is opened, but the contents inside are pitifully small.

Inside the glass box is an object covered with yellow silk, shaped like a tray.

The bulge on one side is only about fifteen centimeters high, and there is almost no difference in the stem on the other side.

There is still yellow silk inside the glass box, which adds to the mystery.

Host Peter smiled slightly and said.

"Don't laugh, everyone. I promise that the contents inside will not disappoint you."

With that said, Peter had already opened the glass box and took out the objects wrapped in yellow silk with both hands.

Opening up the yellow silk, there was indeed a tray inside.

On one side of the bulge is a solid rosewood box with a side length of about fifteen centimeters.

The wooden box is thickly patinated and has four green dragons embossed on it.

The corners are embellished with gold, and there may be chilong patterns. A golden lock is engraved with a lotus flower of wealth.

Next to the red sandalwood box is a brochure, of which there is nothing special about it.

Obviously, the real treasure lies in the red sandalwood box.

The box is engraved with a green dragon, which is obviously royal
It is a royal thing, and it is in the Manchu style with large doors.

By this time, everyone's emotions had been completely aroused.

The anxious people had already stood up, and some even complained softly.

"Stop talking nonsense and open it quickly!"

"That's right, it's too mysterious."

"Hurry up, there are still fifteen rounds to come."

Everyone talked a lot, and Peter smiled in return.

"Don't worry, everyone, the mystery will be revealed soon."

With that said, Peter took action.

Although there is a gold lock, it is not locked, and its purpose is just to show off.

After removing the gold lock, Peter carefully opened the lid of the red sandalwood box.

At the same time, a set of photos taken in advance appeared on the big screen.

Seeing these photos, the Chinese people present couldn't help but exclaimed.

"Wow!"

"This, this, this is actually a seal!"

"Hiss——"

"Treasure of Shendetang."

"Is this Emperor Daoguang's "Shen De Tang Bao"?"

"OMG!"

"It's actually this baby, it's so awesome!"

"Hey, tell me how much it costs quickly. I want this square seal."

"Yes, I am also determined to win."

The big bosses in the collection industry and the pretentious Chinese bosses were inexplicably excited.

The eyes of Guan Haishan King Fatty and others also burst out with blazing light.

Wang Zhenbang, Feng Yuanyang and others were whispering to each other.

head.

Even Lu Fei was shocked.

This seal is about twelve centimeters high, the seal platform is four centimeters high, and its side is ten centimeters long.

The white jade cross-dragon button seal was the imperial token of Shendetang back then. .??.

The seal button is carved with two dragons in the round. One dragon body is carved with two dragon heads. The two dragon heads are roaring toward the back. The dragon beards are rolled up. The four dragon horns are connected backwards and lie on the back of the seal. The four claws are thick and strong, tight and tight.

The top surface of the printing table is exquisitely carved and has a strong three-dimensional effect.

The seal is inscribed with the four characters "Shen De Tang Bao" in jade chopsticks in Yangwen.

Because Xinjiang Hotan jade is used for the seal, its texture is dense and hard and difficult to carve. Therefore, the special seal cutting technique of "flat knife straight down" that was popular during the Qianlong period was used, and the characters were cut continuously with a short-range knife, just like the astringent brush in calligraphy.

, showing a strong, concise, solid and steady atmosphere.

The ink pad adopts a high-level format with poems and texts, and is surrounded by shallow regular script and gold inlays. An article from the "Shende Tang Ji" made by Emperor Xuanzong is signed as "Impressed by the Spring Moon of Xinmaoji in the 11th year of Daoguang", followed by the seal "Tao"

"Light" continuous seal.

This Daoguang Lianzhu Seal is now hidden in Tiandu Gubo, which can be confirmed.

The button is tied with a yellow silk ribbon. The decoration on the head of the ribbon and the method of fixing and knotting it are also consistent with the large imperial seals of the Qing Dynasty. It can be seen that it is an original decoration of the Qing palace and is extremely valuable.

The cross-dragon button is unique to the Qing Dynasty and is exclusively used on the emperor's seal. It is the highest-level form of imperial seal button and is strictly prohibited from imitation by princes, nobles and private citizens. Looking at this seal, we can see its high shape and noble character.

In addition, the exquisite selection of materials shows that Emperor Xuanzong attached great importance to this seal. The quality of its jade is very similar to that of the white jade seals of the Qianlong period. It should be made of Khotan jade materials reserved by the Qianlong Dynasty.

However, its size exceeds the many jade seals of Emperor Yongzheng and Qianlong. The majestic beauty of its material reflects the incomparable royal style of elegance and splendor.
> This imperial "Shen De Tang Bao" white jade cross-dragon button seal should be used exclusively by Shen De Tang, but it is not recorded in the "Daoguang Baosou" in the old collection of the Qing Dynasty. However, the reason can be fully and reasonably explained.

According to the records of the Qing Palace Manufacturing Office, the compilation and production of Baosou began in the forty-sixth year of Qianlong's reign.

Although the treasures made at that time were only those of the three emperors Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong, Emperor Qianlong ordered craftsmen to make multiple empty treasures for the use of his successors.

After Jiaqing, all emperors followed this practice. Whenever a new emperor came to the throne, the royal seals of Emperor Daxing were collected together and preserved in a unified manner, and a "Baosou" was made for preservation.

According to this regulation, after Emperor Xianfeng ascended the throne, he should make the "Daoguang Baosou" from all the treasures used by Emperor Xuanzong, which must include the "Shende Tang Bao".

However, it is not known whether Emperor Xianfeng strictly implemented the regulations of the Qianlong Dynasty. To this day, no physical objects exist to prove it.

Therefore, the extant "Baosou" of the Qing Dynasty emperors in the museum were all sealed during the Tongzhi and Guangxu periods of the Qing Dynasty, and were only produced after the Gengshen Revolution.

Because "Baosou" only contains six emperors and concubines, namely Kangxi, Qianlong, Jiaqing, Daoguang, Xianfeng and Cixi, and none of the three emperors after Emperor Tongzhi have their official records.

The binding of these six emperors and queens' "Baosou" is consistent, and the style is definitely not from the 18th century. The calligraphy used to interpret the seal seals are all written by the same person, so they should be produced in the same period, that is, after the Tongzhi Dynasty.

The jade seals used daily in the Qing Palace are mainly divided into three categories: year-name seals, palace seals, leisure seals, and new emperors' enthronements. Among them, the palace seals of the Daxing Emperor are not collected and preserved together with other seals, but are still stored in their original palaces.

According to this regulation, after Xianfeng ascended the throne, the "Shende Hall Treasure" was still stored in the Shende Hall, but it was lost due to the Gengshen Incident. During the Tongguang period, the "Daoguang Treasure Seal" was remade, and there was no such seal in the palace.

Naturally, it cannot be sealed and included in the book.
