Lu Fei was shocked when he first saw this Manchurian bow in Xue Cheng's room, and at the same time he already made a judgment in his heart.
Now that he has his hands on the actual object and sees the two lines of small Manchu characters on the inner wall of the bow, Lu Fei is 100% sure that this is the famous "Bloodthirsty Kirin Bow."
This bow is so awesome.
There are records of this bow in many Manchu and Qing documents.
Unofficial histories even describe this bow as having miraculous skills. ??
As the only mulberry war bow besides the emperor, it can be said that this bow itself is a legend.
Aobai was born as a general and was proficient in riding and shooting. He had served in the army since his youth and made great achievements many times.
He once followed Emperor Taizong Huang Taiji of the Qing Dynasty to attack the Chahar tribe and conquer North Korea, and achieved success in both cases.
During the Tianqi period, after Liaodong fell to Hou Jin, Ming general Mao Wenlong led his army to retreat to Pidao, echoing the Ming army on the Ningjin line outside the pass, acting as horns to each other, harassing and containing Hou Jin's troops, and making Hou Jin vulnerable to enemies from both sides.
Hou Jin has always regarded Pi Dao as a serious problem. From Nurhaci to Huang Taiji, everyone was planning day and night in an attempt to remove this nail.
In the second year of Chongde, Huang Taiji ordered Bei Zishuo, Kong Youde, Geng Zhongming and Shang Kexi to attack Pi Island.
Since Shuo Tuo could not be attacked for a long time, Huang Taiji ordered King Azige of Yingjun to take over, and Ao Bai joined the army.
After repeated discussions with the generals, Azig formulated an offensive plan of dividing his troops into two groups and attacking in the east and west.
All the way from the sea, giant ships were deployed in a frontal attack posture, deliberately attracting the attention of the Ming army defending the island.
On the other side, elite boats were used to advance rapidly and penetrate the key position in the northwest corner of the island.
The latter route was the key to the attack. Aobai took the initiative to ask for help and issued a military order to Azig together with Zhunta: "If we cannot get to this island, we will not come to see the king and we will conquer the island and return."
Ao Bai and Zhun Ta then led their troops across the sea to launch an attack. Unexpectedly, the Ming army was already well prepared and artillery fire was fired. The Qing army's attack was frustrated and the situation was urgent.
aobai He fought bravely, rushed to the Ming army's position, and braved artillery fire to engage in hand-to-hand combat with the enemy.
The Qing army followed up and landed on Pi Island, raising fire to guide the main force to attack. Pi Island was captured.
When the good news reached Shengjing, the emperor was overjoyed and personally wrote a memorial to Nurhaci to comfort his father's spirit in heaven.
Huang Taiji believed that although Pi Island was just a small island, the significance of conquering it was far greater than occupying important cities and important areas, so he ordered preferential rewards for the soldiers.
Ao Bai was promoted to third-class baron for his first achievement and was given the title "Batulu" (Warrior).
In recognition, Huang Taiji personally gave him a mulberry bow.
This exceptional reward aroused dissatisfaction among the generals at the time, but soon, Oboi silenced everyone with his own achievements.
In the Battle of Songjin in the sixth year of Chongde and the Battle of Xichong in the first year of Shunzhi, Aobai took the lead and was awarded the title of the First Warrior in Manchuria.
From then on, this line of text appeared on this bow.
On the ninth day of August in the eighth year of Chongde, Huang Taiji passed away, and conflicts arose between the Manchu princes and nobles over the succession to the throne.
Huang Taiji's eldest son, Prince Su Hauge, fought with Huang Taiji's younger brother Dorgon.
The Zhenghuang Banner and Xianghuang Banner led by Huang Taiji during his lifetime supported Hauge, while the Zhengbai Banner and Xiangbai Banner led by Dorgon supported Dorgon.
The two sides were at loggerheads and the situation was extremely serious.
Oboi, the commander of the Yellow Banner Guards, held a heavy army and became one of the core figures in the battle for the throne.
He and eight other ministers of the Two Yellow Banners, including Sonny and Tan Tai, gathered at the Hauge Mansion to "make an oath to live and die together" and conspired to make Prince Su the emperor.
In view of the tense situation at that time, Obai and others were on strict alert and secretly ordered soldiers to guard the entrance to prevent accidents.
On August 14, Daishan convened a meeting in Chongzheng Hall to discuss the selection of successors.
In the early morning of the same day, Ao Bai and the ministers of the two yellow banners swore an oath at the Qing Gate to resolutely support the late emperor's son, and ordered the elite guards of the two banners to be fully armed to guard the Chongzheng Palace, making preparations for a military encounter.
When the debate continued in the meeting, Oboi and a group of generals loyal to Huang Taiji left their seats one after another, raised their swords and spoke in unison.
"We ministers eat the food of the late emperor and wear the clothes of the late emperor. The kindness of the late emperor to our upbringing is as high as the sky and the depth of the sea."
"If we don't establish the late emperor's son, we would rather die than the late emperor!"
In fact, Dorgon was threatened by force not to covet the throne.
Under this situation, Dorgon had to make concessions and proposed to support Huang Taiji's ninth son, Fulin, who was six years old, to succeed him, and he and Prince Zheng Jierhalang to serve as assistants.
This compromise was finally accepted by both parties, and then Fulin ascended the throne and changed the next year to the first year of Shunzhi.
After this battle, Emperor Shunzhi regarded Aobai as a confidant, and Aobai rose to great heights.
On the eighth day of the first lunar month of the 18th year of Shunzhi, young Fulin passed away.
Shunzhi issued a posthumous edict, designating the third son of the emperor, Xuan Ye, as his successor, with Sony, Suksaha, Yebilong and Aobai as auxiliary ministers.
On his deathbed, he single-handedly conferred the title of First-Class Super Martial Lord to Obai.
This is the origin of another line of small words on this bow.
Therefore, this bow is not only a treasure, but also Aixinjueluo's affirmation of Ao Bai's life achievements.
It is said that before every battle, Obai would sacrifice the blood of the two rhinoceros-horned unicorns in his bow, so it was called the "bloodthirsty unicorn bow."
Raw blood is the blood of a living person.
The black spots in the Qilin Beast's mouth are dried blood stains from countless sacrifices. Taking them out will definitely ward off evil spirits.
It's a pity that the powerful Ao After the death of Master Shunzhi, his worship became extremely inflated, and he did not pay attention to the eight-year-old Emperor Kangxi at all.
They formed cliques for personal gain, monopolized power, emptied out the emperor's power, and were audacious and resorted to all possible means.
However, he underestimated the heart of an emperor.
Emperor Kangxi endured the humiliation and secretly developed his strength.
In May of the eighth year of Kangxi's reign, Kangxi first sent Ao Bai's cronies to various places, left the capital, and then used his cronies to take over the garrison power of the capital.
Then he summoned Obai to the palace to see him. Obai had often been in and out of the palace before and was not surprised.
This time when called, he came without warning.
When Aobai entered the palace, Kangxi gave the order and the young men rushed forward. Aobai was caught off guard and was thrown to the ground and was captured without mercy.
Then, Kangxi ordered the ministers and other officials to interrogate Obai.
After reviewing the facts, the ministers announced that Aobai had thirty crimes and should be dismissed from his post and immediately beheaded.
According to the records of the French missionary Bai Jin, Oboi requested an audience with Kangxi at that time, so that Kangxi could see the scars he had left while trying to save Kangxi's grandfather Huang Taiji.
As a result, his numerous scars and his achievements against the previous two generations of emperors finally allowed him to save his life.
Kangxi thought that Aobai was a senior man with many military exploits and no traces of usurpation and murder, so he treated him leniently and spared him from imprisonment.
In the same year, Obai died of depression in prison. At this point, the legend came to an end.
Ao Bai fell, and Emperor Kangxi ordered his family to be searched.
A large amount of money was confiscated from Obai Mansion, but the only thing missing was the "bloodthirsty unicorn bow."
That bow was a gift from the royal family. However, Obai took the credit and was arrogant, so that bow was a great shame and humiliation for the royal family.
Emperor Kangxi did not give up and searched for it for many years, but never found it.
Countless people in later generations have looked for this treasured bow, but nothing has been found.
Now that it falls into the hands of Lu Fei, it is simply a blessing!
