Zhao Xuan and Youguang were both martial arts generals, and they killed each other in four or five rounds until their weapons flashed, the wind rustled, and the ground collapsed within a hundred miles.
When it comes to Dao Xing alone, Zhao Xuan and Youguang are both on the second step of returning to the void - Dao stems sprout flower buds, and they have achieved success in attaining the Dao!
But General Youguang emptied all his wealth, and he only had a single tiger-headed sword of the Houshengtang grade specially gifted by Emperor Yangtang. Zhao Xuan wore the first battle armor, held the Houyanyue sword in his hand, and had two real treasure gilt hammers on his back.
There was also a gradeless exotic treasure Duangu Dao inserted into it, and after six or seven rounds, it split through General Youguang's chainmail, turning out blood and flesh.
General Youguang fought and retreated, fled to a canyon, gritted his teeth, sacrificed a formation disk, and hid in the formation.
As Zhao Xuan approached the entrance of the formation, he saw cold black mist and thunderous lightning, and his footsteps could not help but stop.
General Youguang shouted from inside, "Fellow Daoist Zhao, this formation is called the Thunderous Formation. Do you dare to enter? If you can break this formation, I am willing to defeat you!"
"Why don't you dare!" Zhao Xuan stepped into the battle, and flames appeared on the golden armor, burning the approaching thunder and lightning.
General Youguang waved the thunder flag, thousands of thunders surged, and the blue lightning rushed towards Zhao Xuan.
This thunder is taken from the two qi of thunder, earth and thunder. It has unparalleled power. If an ordinary monk touches it, it will fly into ashes and disappear. If he falls into the formation, he will lose half of his Taoist body.
Zhao Xuan felt that it was terrifying, but he couldn't avoid it. He raised his hand to block, and was instantly blasted eight feet away. His arm was numb and painful, and the arm guard was even black. If it hadn't hit the golden battle armor, he would have been hit.
It hit him directly and his arm was disabled.
He rushed up angrily and drew out the Broken Ancient Sword. This broad-edged sword seemed to have no quality and no steps. It had been in the hands of powerful men for several generations. It had countless souls under it and its spiritual power was extremely powerful. I saw it flash a fierce light and thunder flags.
Split in response!
General Youguang was so frightened that he took several steps back and hit a rock.
"You still want to fight!" Zhao Xuan held the knife and took three steps closer.
General Youguang didn't want to let himself fall here, so he waved his hand and said, "I lost. My fellow Taoist is very powerful, but I am not as good as me."
Zhao Xuan laughed, "It's just a weapon with zero sharpness."
...Why didn't the thunder kill him?
Looking at the other side, the peak is surrounded by auspicious clouds, the glow is shining, words are like knives, and pearls are hidden. Sometimes they are deafening questions, sometimes they are temptations like spring breeze and rain, every word is like walking on thin ice.
The great sages such as the wonderful Taoist Duoxiao were more interested in the discussion of Zi Zhuo and Mu Sui and kept listening. The theme raised by Mu Sui was also very sinister. He actually started from asking Zi Zhuo why he became an official.
Progressing step by step, I asked Taiyi whether he should settle in Zhu!
"All disasters are caused by the emperor. If there is no belief in luck, merit, and virtue, how can the Nine Conquests be achieved? Your words are all about following the Tao and protecting the common people, so you should not act as a helper of the tiger! The emperor is the biggest evil tiger in the Nine that encroaches on his territory.
!”
"But the belief in luck and merit actually exists. Even if there is no emperor, there are still sects and big families competing for the Nine. In contrast, the emperor does not belong to one lineage or one lineage, does not favor any race, does not favor which lineage, and is best suited to maintain the order of the Dao.
co-owner."
"You are too idealistic. Is the emperor really selfless? He is the most selfish existence down there. How many living beings are the dead souls under the throne, and how many Dharma races are displaced because of his ambition to open up new territories.
Or he goes against his own will to please others, he wears the cloak of peace, but in fact he uses the territory as a fence and raises the monks like pigs and dogs!
If the emperor truly cares for all sentient beings, he should step down and let all sentient beings control their own destiny!"
Emperor Chao Mu suddenly laughed and said to Xiang Ji, "Could this gentleman be taught by His Holiness?"
I looked at my nose and my heart with my sick eyes, but there was no answer.
Venerable Duoxiao raised his hands to Zhan Changfeng and said, "Your Majesty Changsheng, don't blame me for being curious. The words of Mr. Mu Sui must be similar to Ji Zu's question. How did you answer it?"
Zhan Changfeng said, "Without rules, there would be no rule."
Zi Zhuo from the other peak retorted, "It is precisely because all living beings have their own ideas, their own ways of doing things, and their own inadequacies that they need emperors to appear in this world. You see, there are many immortals who abide by the rules and precepts."
Dharma lineage, when disasters occur in other lands, other races, and other sects, should you stand by and watch on the grounds that you are not tainted with cause and effect, or should you just go into the world alone!
Will the devil who does whatever he wants meddle in other people's business and take matters into his own hands, or will he just laugh it off?
Will the ghost path separated by yin and yang recruit many disciples, or will it help the world by hanging the pot?
The Buddha's way of persuading people to do good can help others and save themselves, but it can't kill people and can't teach Dharma principles.
The land with so many factions cannot control other traditions and races, let alone the demon race.
Only when the emperor comes to establish universal rules and rule the ninety lands can it enter a peaceful and prosperous age. The trouble is not the emperor, but the absence of the emperor! Do you think it is wrong for the Supreme Lord to build a new court?"
Mu Sui asked again, "Can this reason be used to cover up the bloodshed in this process? Those innocent fallen creatures will not agree. No matter how big a person is, no matter how big a thing they do, if they are truly selfless, they should know how to retreat bravely. If Taiyi did not resist the Wanxing Emperor
, how could the storm destroy several realms, killing and injuring tens of billions of living beings, and now that you are stationed in Zhu, aren’t you afraid of starting a domain-level war and causing the death of trillions of living beings?”
"If there is a war, Taiyi's army will be at the forefront. We have a clear conscience on this point. If you want to ask, you also have to ask the other side why they hurt innocent people!"
Zi Zhuo didn't want to be led away by him and asked, "If you think the emperor shouldn't exist, then you should exist. How many things have you taken care of, how many people have you saved, what value do you have to others, what do the common people have to you?"
Desire, have you turned the tide in times of crisis, and have you stood at the forefront of the trend to lead a new era? If you are not beneficial to the people, how do you have the qualifications to point your fingers?"
As soon as he asked this question, Mu Sui became cold-faced and started a new round of verbal dispute.
In fact, Mu Sui's question just now brought up a point that Brother Zhu is very concerned about. If Taiyi and other dynasties have a war, what will happen to them?
Will they be used as bargaining chips and cannon fodder on their journey?
Some people followed his implicit meaning and thought, if they were to be used as chips and cannon fodder, shouldn't they choose the stronger side, which would be safer?
No one dared to point this issue out, not even Taiyi, who they couldn't afford to offend.
But the Taoist envoy was not among them. Demonic Dao Hengfang asked Zhan Changfeng jokingly, "If the emperor encounters an invincible enemy, will he be killed on his neck to protect Taiyi's generals and the creatures in the territory, or will he give up everything and fight to the death?"
?”
This question not only separated Zhan Changfeng from the creatures in the domain, but also separated her from General Taiyi.
If he gave everything he had, he would inevitably arouse the fear of the loyalist forces, fearing that he would be forcibly dragged onto the battlefield.
At this time, the relationship between Taiyi and Zhu Shengling was not deep yet, and they would be easily shaken if Taiyi brought them any major hidden dangers.
Zhan Changfeng felt that Lord Hengfang became more cunning and cold after fused with Xuancheng's true spirit.
