08 Avalokitesvara closes eyes

The next moment, Ember's perspective changed drastically.

The surrounding stone walls gradually softened, changing from smooth stone walls to purple-black flesh walls with wrinkles. The ground squirmed from time to time, and there were a few plants growing vaguely in two weeks. The ends of the plants turned out to be human heads.

The fog gradually thickens, and the world is sometimes normal and sometimes illusory.

In his eyes, the dead classmate transformed from a human into a human form with a black aura. The black aura on Wang Xiaoxiao's body was particularly strong, but the body of the foster mother seemed slightly thinner.

"Chuck, lick, lick"

Wang Xiaoxiao jumped down from the stone wall, raised his head high with his skinny arms, and looked around for Yu Yan and the two of them with a pair of pale eyeballs.

"It's over!"

Because of his sudden stupor, Yi Yan had lost the chance to escape.

"Tick tock! Tick tock!"

The water droplets fell in response and landed on the top of his head, bringing bursts of biting chill. The coldness that reached to the bone marrow gave his groggy brain a little energy.

Close!

Getting closer!

The two bodies were almost touching, and Yi Yan could even feel a very strong corpse smell coming to his nostrils, mixed with a strong smell of perfume. The mixture of the two smells was so unpleasant that he almost vomited.

"Click, click"

Wang Xiaoxiao made an unusually strange sound in his throat, and slowly approached the two of them. The head stared at the embers, as if he wanted to eat them alive.

Oops!

Something is wrong with the secret passage of embers. There is no place to escape now. The speed of the ghosts is a bit faster than that of humans under normal conditions. At this speed, they will be caught by these ghosts as soon as they run out.

what to do?

Yan Yan swallowed, and his brain was spinning wildly, looking for a solution.

That skill suddenly created a black mist that enveloped the two of them.

The next moment, Wang Xiaoxiao suddenly raised his head, as if he didn't notice the two of them, and carefully looked at the patterns on the stone wall.

After a moment, she threw her head away, grabbed her neck with her dry hands, tore it hard, and crawled out of it a familiar body.

Breeding mother!

The tall and pale body gave Yi Yan an indescribable sense of oppression, and her pale eyes scanned the location of Yi Yan.

Yi Yan held his breath, closed his eyes, and tried not to make a sound.

The only sound in the grotto was the sound of water dripping.

After a while, the foster mother stopped focusing on the two of them and turned away.

The classmates behind them saw their foster mother leaving. They stared blankly ahead, then lay down on the ground, moved their limbs skillfully, and followed the foster mother's footsteps.

.......

I don't know how long it took.

When Hu Yan opened his eyes, the surroundings returned to normal again, and only the two of them were left in front of the entire stone wall.

"It really scared me to death!"

Wang Hu took a bottle of water from his bag and finished it in one breath. However, he was feeling frightened and patted his chest and said.

"Brother Jin, thank you very much just now." Wang Hu looked guilty, looking at the deep scar on Yu Jin's left shoulder, feeling very uncomfortable in his heart, and said in a low voice.

"There is a monster mixed into the team! That Zhang Li is not a human being," Yu Yan suddenly grabbed Wang Hu's shoulders and whispered.

"I know, Zhang Li has a problem!"

"Damn it! I obviously checked and there are no red moles on the corners of their mouths, but why is there still a ghost mixed in!" Yi Yan looked uncertain, running back and forth from the side with an extremely unnatural expression.

"But what happened is over. Brother Jin, when we were chased by the broodmother earlier, I felt like it couldn't see us. What on earth is going on?" Wang Hu looked at Jin and said vaguely.

Some people understand that this reason is likely to occur with Ember.

After being awakened by Wang Hu, Yi Yan realized the skill in his mind. The strange misty world before was still vivid in his mind.

"It's...a skill."

"Kung Fu?" Wang Hu opened his eyes wide and said doubtfully.

"It's called Huangxie Yinji Jing, and it seems to be a very evil exercise book."

Yi Yan looked at his bloodless arm, which was as pale as if it had just been taken out of formalin. He thought about it for a long time and spoke slowly.

There is a price to pay for using this technique.

This is something that Yi Yan instantly understood after the "Huangxie Yinji Sutra" was engraved into his head.

He activated this skill unconsciously and escaped the pursuit of his foster mother, but the price was--the body turned into a corpse, the organs rotted, and he changed from a living human being to a living corpse.

Wang Hu looked at Yi Yan's right hand without asking any questions. He seemed to understand why the two of them were able to escape this pursuit.

"Brother Jin, do you remember where humans have obviously big bellies and thin necks?"

After a while, Wang Hu stood up, turned on his mobile phone and looked over. He looked at the paintings on the stone wall and fell into deep thought.

He didn't look carefully just now. After having night vision, Yi Yan carefully observed the painting on the stone wall. In his impression, he seemed to have seen this painting before, but the impression was not very deep. It seemed...in a temple?

"Have you not noticed that these are not human beings in the first place?"

Yi Yan's thoughts jumped, he recalled something, and said softly.

"Hungry ghost!"

"Hungry ghost!?"

Wang Hu and Yan Yan both spoke at the same time, staring at the pictures on the stone wall, feeling very shocked in their hearts.

"I remember hearing an old monk from the temple say before that the place where the hungry ghosts are located is in the Bardo Realm, which is the intersection of the human world and the underworld. There are poor mountains and rivers here, and there is no food."

"Many creatures accidentally enter here and become hungry ghosts due to the erosion of various causes and effects."

Ember pointed at an evil ghost in a remote area near Lotus. It had a big belly and a neck as thin as a funnel, but it fell to its knees and was pulled out of its tongue by a strong, terrifying-looking monster and held it in its hand, with a painful expression on its face.

"Their hunger is hundreds of times greater than that of other creatures, and there are only stones in that place, so they can only feed on stones. And when those stones pass through the neck as thin as a funnel, the pain will make them unbearable."

"Coupled with being exposed to the sun day and night, the suffering hungry ghosts have no choice but to pin their hopes on the Buddha statues and Bodhisattvas that symbolize liberation and eternal bliss. They prostrate themselves in front of the lotus platform, eager to be protected by the Bodhisattvas. The compassionate Bodhisattvas bless the world.

All living beings will of course protect those hungry ghosts."

"Perhaps this lotus symbolizes the Buddha and Bodhisattva who protect all living beings..."

But why are evil spirits depicted in this place? Could it have something to do with the monsters in the cave?

Yi Yan was a little confused. Under the automatic operation of the "Huangxie Yinji Sutra", he seemed to feel that there was a vague black energy inside the stone wall.

It's just that the black energy is weak, and compared with the foster mothers of those dead classmates, they are almost nothing like clouds and mud.

Is there something in this?

After thinking for a moment, Yi Yan picked up a stone from the ground and lightly knocked on the stone wall.

The feedback sound was clear and crisp, indicating that it was hollow inside and there must be something hidden inside.

Yan Yan then picked up a stone and threw it at the stone wall with all his strength.

"Bang!" There was a sound.

The stone wall suddenly collapsed, revealing another space.

"How come there is another space?"

Wang Hu was very surprised and walked in with his cell phone on.

This space is about the size of a basketball court, with a tombstone placed in the center and large vats neatly arranged around it.

"Is there another evil ghost?"

Once Wang Hu was bitten by the snake, his expression changed drastically when he saw the big tank. He pulled the embers and wanted to turn around and walk out.

"Don't worry, there are no ghosts in this one."

Yi Yan comforted Hu Zi and carefully watched the surrounding situation. Then he saw the tombstone in the center of the space. He was curious and walked forward.

I saw that the tomb was covered with yellow paper, which had become somewhat weathered due to the age, but the handwriting was still clearly visible. On the yellow paper, there were obscure and profound ancient seal characters drawn with cinnabar.

The densely packed small characters on the tombstone have weathered over time and cannot be seen clearly. A line of beautiful fonts is gilded in the center - the tomb of the ancient immortal Yu Qianqian of the Yu family.

A woman's grave!

The seals of the large vats next to them were covered with densely packed talisman papers, as if they contained some evil thing.

Ancient cultivators once believed that talismans, as the foundation of the "five arts" of mountains, medicine, fortune, fortune, and divination, were the medium for cultivators to communicate with the universe, laws, heaven, heaven and earth, immortals, Buddhas, gods, demons, ghosts, and gods.

Through this medium and channel, we can use the nine gods and evil spirits to our advantage, conquer the gods and drive away ghosts, so as to achieve the purpose of praying for blessings and preventing disasters, curing diseases and saving people.

And since these spells can seal this tomb, it proves that there must be something terrible buried in this tomb.

Otherwise, we wouldn't have used so many spells to suppress it.

"Is it possible that those big tanks contain the corpses of those officials? There are exactly thirty-six of them." Wang Hu had a look of shock in his eyes and said unconsciously as he shuttled back and forth between the big tanks.

Is there any special person buried in this tombstone? Why did he choose to be buried with these large vats?

Yi Yan frowned and thought deeply. The origin of this place was strange, and he couldn't figure it out for a while.

Suddenly, Yu Yan felt a very strange feeling, as if he was being watched by an evil thing, and goosebumps all over his body stood up.

He looked up and saw that there was a square stone trough at the end of the secret room, in which a Bodhisattva was enshrined.

The Bodhisattva had a kind face and closed his eyes. He held a willow branch in his right hand and a jade vase in his left hand.

But the whole body was stained red with blood, and the sacred and solemn Buddha statue looked very strange.

"Closed eyes Guanyin?"

Yan Yan looked solemn and spoke.
