Chapter 1 The boy

Cold...shaking...

"What a fool, this is all from the last era..."

Accompanied by the murmur of complaints, the young man raised his hand and rubbed the still stinging Tianling Gai, then grinned and whispered "haha" while standing up and half sitting up.

"Friend, you're awake."

The sudden voice of inquiry made the young man finally recover from his slight trance and subconsciously looked around.

This is a closed metal cabin, with a structure like the inside of a small strategic transport aircraft. There are a row of seats against the cabin walls on both sides. There are four stretchers placed in the middle aisle, and the boy occupied one of them.

The cabin seemed very empty, except for the young man, who was the only one who made a sound.

"How's it going? Are you okay?"

It was still the questioning voice of the person just now, which made the young man pause his observation and looked over.

"It's okay, I'm used to it." The boy responded and smiled politely at the brown-haired, blue-eyed Western man, then got up from the stretcher and sat on an empty chair.

boom--

Before the young man could sit firmly, an explosion suddenly sounded, causing the troop transport cabin to shake violently. The young man quickly grabbed the seat belt and turned his head to look out through the observation window.

A fierce war is going on outside the observation window. On one side are small and medium-sized aircraft on the technological side, and on the other side are monsters of different shapes, either flying or suddenly jumping out of forests and mountain walls and jumping into the air.

aircraft.

With the situation clear to his chest, the young man turned around and asked the Western man who was also looking out through the observation window: "So, it seems we are retreating?"

The Western man nodded when he heard this, looked away from the observation window, turned back and said with a little regret: "Yes, the establishment of the outpost failed for the seventeenth time."

"It is indeed a hell difficulty." The young man sighed after hearing this, then raised his right hand, drew a circle in the air in front of him, and read: "Quest log."

Silently, a half-meter-square virtual screen appeared out of thin air.

Looking at the records on the mission log, the young man sighed, and then swiped his hand to turn the screen to the personal information column.

"Huh?" The Western man was obviously paying attention to the virtual screen in front of the boy, and he couldn't help but said in surprise: "Your military rank is actually lieutenant?"

"Yeah..." The young man shrugged his shoulders and said helplessly: "Because of the continuous failures of the 'mission to establish the 107th outpost', my military rank dropped from major to the current lieutenant."

"Then you are really unlucky." The Western man sighed: "Military ranks rise slowly but fall quickly."

Seeing the young man's expression of approval, the Western man couldn't help but complain and continued: "Originally, I hoped that through this mission of 'establishing an outpost', I could be promoted to second lieutenant, but as a result..."

"It's easy to be promoted to lieutenant, right?" The young man heard this and said: "The enemy killing points in the comprehensive evaluation are enough, so it is not difficult to be promoted to second lieutenant."

Bang——

A loud noise caused the troop transport cabin to shake again. The two men turned to look out the window, but a flying monster about three meters high and seven meters long crashed into them.

The two of them turned around without paying attention, not afraid that the monster would crash the troop transport ship.

The Western man restarted the topic and said with a hint of depression: "My major in 'Army Combat' relies entirely on hand-to-hand combat. As for 'Gun Combat' and 'Body Combat', the levels are not high, so the enemy-killing score has never been improved.

Go up. What about you?"

"I'm okay." The young man smiled politely, his eyes quickly glanced at the three 'master' evaluations on the virtual panel, and then he closed it silently and canceled the panel.

"Oh, by the way, Lex Nakia." The Western man introduced himself.

"Kun." The young man responded politely, reaching out and shaking hands with the other person.

"Queen?" Lex Nakia was slightly stunned.

"It's not queen, it's Kun." The young man corrected helplessly.

"queen." Lex Nakia repeated with a slightly awkward pronunciation.

"Kun..." The young man was even more helpless and corrected in Chinese pinyin: "k-u-n——Kun."

"Oh——" Lex Nakia looked like he suddenly understood.

"Coven·Queen!" Lex Najia said boldly, knowing everything he had in mind: "Just call me Najib, my friend."

"..."

After hesitating to speak several times, Young Kun finally surrendered helplessly and muttered: "Whatever, whatever, no matter how much I correct you, you Westerners will never call me by my name correctly..."

Almost as soon as Young Kun's murmur ended, Lex Nagia's cheerful voice immediately sounded: "I guess the elders in your family must like our Western witch culture very much!"

Young Kun's smile was stiff. While listening, he kept his lips still and gritted his teeth as he muttered: "Every Westerner who knows my name..."

Lex Nakia didn't notice the young man's muttering, but continued chattering enthusiastically: "Look! 'coven' means witch, but we usually use witch. So coven refers to a group of witches...

"

"Yes, yes, the witch group..." The young man continued to mutter through gritted teeth.

"And your last name is queen." Lex Nakia seemed to be getting more and more excited: "Then the meaning of your name is the queen of the witch coven? Or the witch queen! Oh~ I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't say this, but I

I suggest you change your name to something related to a wizard..."

boom--

The sudden explosion finally saved Kun. He immediately turned to look at the explosive fireworks outside the window, and kept thanking those monsters in his heart...

More than ten minutes later, the transport ship landed in a huge technology camp. Young Kun finally got rid of the chatty Lex Nakia. Before he could enter the barracks, he quickly drew a circle with his hand to summon the virtual panel, and under the logout option

Clicked on it quickly.

His vision quickly darkened. After a few seconds, the body's touch changed and his five senses were recalibrated.

"Turn on." Young Kun ordered softly with a tired tone.

His vision gradually brightened, and then the young man sat up from an egg-shaped metal warehouse, dazed for a moment, and stepped out of the metal warehouse.

As he walked out of the room, Young Kun called out: "Butler."

"Master Kun, what are your orders?" Silently, a one-meter-square virtual screen appeared next to the boy. As it moved with the boy's footsteps, questions came from the mouth of the 'virtual panda image' on the screen.

Voices.

Young Kun heard this and asked: "How long has it been? I was in a hurry when I logged out of the game and didn't have time to see it."

"Master, your game time this time is three hours and twenty-five minutes." The virtual panda-like smart butler replied.

"Oh, I got it." The boy came to the bathroom and asked while washing his hands: "Are there any new contact messages on my messaging software?"

"The master sent a message half an hour ago, saying that he would come back to cook in the evening and asked the young master not to order takeout," the smart butler replied.

"Really? Then I'll be lucky again today." Young Kun laughed, then splashed water to wash his face...
