Chapter 40 Guilt

Coven was silent for a moment, leaving Heimerdinger to ponder.

When Heimerdinger came to his senses, Coven continued to ask before the other person could speak: "Mr. Heimerdinger, how much do you know about Zaun today?"

Heimerdinger opened his mouth and lowered his ears and replied in a low voice: "I heard that it was a mess there, and I heard that all the bad guys gathered there..."

He sighed and said: "Sometimes I go to the high wall on the edge of the city and look out over Zaun and the Rift Valley from there, but all I can see is garbage, sewage and gray..."

"So you dislike it, right?"

Ke Wen said something that struck a chord in his heart: "You just listened to what others said, and made your judgment based on other people's descriptions. You were disappointed in Zaun and thought that Zuan was hopeless, so you devoted all your efforts to changing the name.

Is this the upper town of Pilvoort?"

Without waiting for Heimerdinger to answer, Coven sighed and shook his head.

"You yordles are too simple."

He made a comment: "Your trust in others is too cheap. Even if you have a little doubt, it would be fine. Even if you go to Zaun to see it once, it's a pity..."

"You...please tell me!"

Heimerdinger raised his ears slightly to reveal his hope.

His big blue eyes were full of guilt and expectation: "Young man, please tell me in detail?! What is Zu An really like now?! How wrong was I?!"

"look?"

Ke Wen spread his hands: "You gave up your trust easily again, why don't you question whether I will lie to you?"

"No!"

Heimerdinger leaned forward again.

He stared into Ke Wen's eyes and said: "Since you are here to expose the scam that surrounds me! Then you will not use another scam!"

The corner of Ke Wen's left eyebrow twitched slightly.

Then he nodded.

Clear and organized, Ke Wen slowly tells the story of the humanities and environment in the Rift Valley.

It took him a lot of time to finish describing the situation in Dicheng.

Corwin then asked the guilt-ridden Heimerdinger: "What are you going to do?"

Hearing this, Heimerdinger was silent for a long time.

After sighing, he raised his head and asked Ke Wen: "You said before that you came to invite me, right?"

"That's right."

Ke Wen nodded and admitted: "I originally planned to invite you to visit Dicheng in person."

"Can!"

Heimerdinger solemnly nodded and agreed: "I agree to your invitation! I will follow you to the lower city in person to see it! Mr. Quinn, after I go and see it, there must be anything else you need from me.

Are you helping?"

"You can say that, but I'm still a little hesitant."

Ke Wen nodded and explained: "The original plan was to ask you to go to the lower city to help us host some new technologies."

"Then I thought about it and realized that it would cause you a lot of trouble."

"Trouble?" Heimerdinger immediately waved his hand firmly: "No! As long as it can make up for my mistakes! I'm not afraid of any trouble!"

"Listen to me first."

Coven made a soothing gesture: "Mr. Heimerdinger, the trouble I am referring to should come from the parliament, the nobles, and even everyone in Pi City!"

"What?" Heimerdinger was stunned: "Why do I listen? I will become the enemy of the entire Pilvoorv?"

"Absolutely."

Corwin said: "I have a plan to completely change the status quo of Zaun. Once you participate in and preside over that plan, it will cause a huge blow to Piltover."

"What kind of plan?!" Heimerdinger quickly asked: "Can't we change the supplement? Try not to affect Pilvoorv."

"I'm afraid it's difficult." Ke Wen shook his head: "You can imagine what would happen if Pi City turned into Lower City."

"Jesus!!!"

Heimerdinger was so panicked that he jumped up on his chair: "Mr. Quinn! Are you going to blow up the foundation of 'Piervort'? Let the landform of 'Piervort' sink too, right?"

"of course not."

Ke Wen smiled and reassured: "Calm down, I won't do that, I'm not that cruel."

"That's good, that's good!"

Heimerdinger patted his chest and breathed a sigh of relief, then immediately asked what the details of the plan were.

Ke Wen did not hide anything, nor was he afraid that Heimerdinger would leak the news, so he told the story of his plan.

After hearing this, Heimerdinger was completely shocked!

His big ears stood up high, and the two tufts of white fluff at the tips of his ears were constantly shaking.

"God!" He exclaimed loudly: "That is really an incredible future!!"

"So think about it." Ke Wen smiled and said: "If the people in the city know that you are involved, what will be the consequences?"

These words made Heimerdinger's big ears droop again.

His eyes were depressed, and he said with some sadness: "Yes, at that time, I will become the traitor of the entire 'Pilvotov', and everyone will blame me..."

After thinking in silence for a moment, Heimerdinger suddenly took a deep breath.

Then he said with firm eyes: "But I will participate! Mr. Quinn! Just like you said! All these years! It is so unfair that I have ignored Zaun!!"

He raised his voice: "I am the founder of the entire Zaun! The Rift Valley and the Upper City together are the real Zaun! I should not devote all my thoughts to the Upper City!"

"Don't get excited..."

Coven said as he stretched out his hand.

He took advantage of Heimerdinger's unstable mood and finally touched the fur on Heimerdinger's head as he wished.

After enjoying the soft and furry touch, Coven pushed Heimerdinger back into the high chair.

Before the other party could react, Kewen said with a smile: "You are not entirely to blame for the changes in Zaun, so I can't let your status as the founder be humiliated, so I thought of another way."

"Ah? What is it?"

Heimerdinger failed to discover the original intention of Coven's actions, and he hurriedly asked: "What is the method?"

"You are not in a position to participate directly, but you can participate indirectly."

Ke Wen smiled and said: "As far as I know, you have an assistant coach who was born in the lower city, right?"

Heimerdinger instantly recognized the number and nodded immediately: "Yes! Victor! A very talented young man!"

"Yes, it's him." Ke Wen nodded: "So it would be no problem for him to participate. After all, he was born in Zu'an. He should have accomplished what he learned and returned to Zu'an to make contributions."

"Well...that's the truth."

Heimerdinger made a shoulder-hugging gesture with his short hands, and held the beard on his chin with his right hand, looking like he was thinking...
