Chapter 42 I'm stunned

Wednesday.

There were three classes in Gryffindor that day, an Herbology class in the morning, a History of Magic class in the afternoon, and an Astrology class in the evening.

This day's class made Coven very relaxed, because the students attending class with Gryffindor were Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff House.

Finally we are far away from those crazy Slytherin kids.

The day went by indifferently, and Coven didn't show up to add points to Gryffindor or anything.

If there was anything unusual about this day, it was that during lunch, the long table of Slytherin House received many letters from owls, while other houses received very few letters.

This also reminded Ke Wen of something he had ignored: it had been five days since he entered school, and he had not written a letter to Ollivander.

In the evening, before returning to his dormitory, Ke Wen made a special trip to the owl shed and brought back his owl, "Xiao Xiu".

In the dormitory, Ke Wen unfolded the letter paper and began to write a letter to Ollivander while holding the quill pen that he was not comfortable with.

In the letter, Kewen gave a general account of his life these days, and also talked about some of his studies in class. He also wrote in a boastful tone about the extra points he had given to Gryffindor.

Kewen plans to use letters as a bridge to let Ollivander discover Kewen's gradually changing personality through letters. This will pave the way for Ollivander's personality to be too different when they meet again in the future.

After roughly writing down the events of the past few days, Ke Wen made a subtle request in the letter, saying that he wanted a pen or an 'automatic shorthand quill'.

After checking the completed letter, Kewen put the letter paper into an envelope, filled in the address, and sealed it with wax.

"Hey, come on." Ke Wen greeted the owl that was standing on the windowsill preening its feathers.

Xiu Xiu was very obedient. He spread his wings and jumped, glided over from the window sill and landed on Ke Wen's outstretched arm.

"Be good, take the letter to Ollivander's Wand Shop." Coven lifted the envelope and handed it to the owl.

It chirped in response, then opened its beak and took the envelope in its mouth.

After tilting his head and rubbing Ke Wen's shoulder, Xi Xi jumped off Ke Wen's arm, spread his wings and flapped on the ground, and quickly rushed out of the window sill and disappeared into the night sky.

It wasn't until the owl was no longer visible that Kewen looked away, and then unfolded a piece of letter paper again.

The next letter was written to Penelo's parents. He planned to give it to Penelo tomorrow morning and ask her to send it by owl...

Spent the night and got up early the next morning.

Coven went to the cliff to exercise without hesitation, and then went to the auditorium as usual to wait for breakfast to start.

After breakfast, Coven gave the letter to Penello and asked her to deliver it with an owl.

"Oh my God!" Penello suddenly whispered after hearing this: "I forgot to write a letter home!"

"I only remembered it yesterday." Ke Wen said with a chuckle: "After all, college life has just begun, and there are so many exciting things that made us ignore others for a while."

"That's right." Penello nodded in agreement, and then said: "I will let the owl deliver the letter later. I will also write a letter to home during the lunch break, and then let the owl send it back together."

"Of course." Ke Wen didn't care.

The two chatted for a while until class was about to start, then they said goodbye and went to different classes.

Stepping into the classroom, Kewen's previously good mood turned bad.

Because half of the students in the classroom were Slytherin kids, and at this moment, these naughty kids began to throw ice skates at him with their eyes.

Ke Wen turned a blind eye to this choice, found an empty seat, sat down, and opened the 'Potions' textbook, reading and reviewing page by page.

The school bell rang, and the wooden door of the classroom suddenly opened with a bang, as if someone had kicked it open, and hit the walls on both sides of the door.

The startled students all turned around and saw a wizard, like a big walking bat, walking quickly across the aisle with almost no movement and walking to the side of the podium.

He walked so fast that almost no one saw his face clearly under his disheveled hair.

The visitor was Professor Snape, the only person with whom Coven had not formally communicated during the vacation before the start of school.

Among the several meetings before the start of school, it was only the first time that Ollivander introduced each other.

From then on, Kewen would greet him politely when they met. But all he got was Professor Snape's unexplained gaze, and he never received a verbal response.

Snape's voice had almost no fluctuations, and he seemed to speak without any emotion, and he liked to lengthen or shorten the pronunciation of words.

The way he talks can't help but send chills down your spine.

Coupled with his unintelligible eyes, few students dared to look at him.

The formal lecture begins.

Snape's lecture method was similar to that of other professors. He first gave an overview of the content and significance of the Potions class, and then asked a few questions to the students.

Corwin had already offended the Slytherin students. In order not to further offend the Slytherin dean, Corwin immediately raised his hand after Professor Snape asked the question.

However, Snape only glanced at Corwin with his peripheral vision, then turned a blind eye and called a Slytherin student who raised his hand to answer the question.

After answering, the Slytherin student was awarded five points by Snape and raised his head proudly.

At the same time, many Slytherin students cast disdainful glances at Kewen.

Seeing this, Kewen muttered in his heart: The illness is not serious.

Next, Professor Snape asked two questions again, and nodded to the Slytherin students for both answers, while adding ten points to Slytherin House.

At this time, Ke Wen finally understood that Professor Snape was obviously blatantly favoring his own college.

Seeing this, Ke Wen simply stopped raising his hand to answer the question. You can play whatever you want, it has nothing to do with me...

After the usual questions ended, Snape began to teach everyone how to prepare the potion for treating 'fire boils'.

While listening to the lecture, Coven was confused, because the measurement units spit out from Snape's mouth seemed to Coven to be too unfriendly to him.

What some, what little, what small amount, what ounce, what dram...

Ke Wen felt like his head was buzzing.

Until Professor Snape asked everyone to form a team to prepare potions, Kewen did not recover from these anti-human measurement units.

As a last resort, Kewen had to ask Dana, his roommate in the same group, to weigh the herbs.

And he is responsible for doing it, controlling the heat and stirring the liquid.

After the potion was brewed successfully, Snape came to the side of Ke Wen's group at some unknown time. Professor Snape lowered his eyes to look at the potion that Ke Wen had brewed, and then glanced at Ke Wen with disgust.

Ke Wen: Confused...
