Chapter 52 Awakening

The Academy Awards is considered to be the last major event in recent times.

Since then, Kewen has returned to his peaceful days, choosing two beauties to work out together every day, and occasionally helping clients with some supernatural commissions.

Time has entered midsummer unconsciously.

On this day, a scream suddenly rang out from the lobby of the office. Ke Wen, who was on the third floor, was stunned and immediately teleported to the first floor.

But the picture in front of him made him a little confused.

At this time, a blond woman with an above-average figure and appearance was maintaining her entrance posture, while Farah at the front desk was staring at her and screaming in fear, as if she had seen something terrifying.

Kewen looked at Farah who was getting under the table, and then at the woman at the door.

Frowning slightly, he instantly changed the field of view mode.

After returning the sealed perspective to normal, Kewen immediately discovered an evil spirit from the woman at the door.

This made him a little stunned, and he couldn't help but open his eyes slightly, and looked again at Farah, who was still screaming.

"Uh...did I do something wrong?"

At this time, the woman at the door opened her mouth blankly and said to Ke Wen: "I'm sorry, but I just came in..."

Ke Wen asked her not to mind and waved her hand, then walked into the front desk, pinched the back of Farah's neck and picked her up.

"boss!

"

Seeing Ke Wen, Farah immediately crowded on Ke Wen like an octopus, and at the same time shouted in horror: "The evil spirit! The evil spirit has come in!"

"

"Did you see the evil spirit?!" Ke Wen asked in confirmation.

Farah buried her head in Coven's chest and said "Hmm, huh, huh", and stretched out her left hand to point to the door: "She, she, there is an evil spirit in her!

"

"Young..."

Ke Wen couldn't help but laugh.

He lowered his head and reacquainted himself with the small front desk attached to his body, and then joked with a smile: "Are you getting retribution? Haven't you always wanted to see a ghost? Now you have got your wish, right?"

"boss!

"

Farah had no intention of joking and quickly urged: "Hurry up! Get rid of that evil spirit!

"

"Okay, okay..."

Ke Wen finally took the little girl off his body and reprimanded him angrily: "You are an employee of an exorcism office. What does it mean to be scared like this by an evil spirit?"

Farah looked stunned.

She finally realized her identity and immediately blushed when Ke Wen said it.

With her courage rising again, the little girl lowered her head and said nonchalantly: "It's just... it's so sudden... I'm not prepared at all..."

"Then why don't you go and entertain the customers?" Ke Wen reminded.

Farah twitched the corners of her mouth, and turned to look at the woman at the door anxiously.

After seeing the evil spirit lying behind the woman, the little girl couldn't help but tremble.

With a distorted expression that was neither crying nor smiling, Farah reluctantly said hello: "Hello, madam, Huan, welcome..."

"Hello."

The blonde woman smiled slightly. She didn't even have the slightest fear about the fact that she had an evil spirit in her body.

In response, Ke Wen couldn't help but tap the back of Farah's head with his finger, and once again lectured angrily: "Look at me! Look at you!"

Farah expressed her last bit of stubbornness and raised her head to argue with Coven: "That's because she can't see it!"

"But I can feel it."

The woman chimed in with a smile: "And I can hear it, and sometimes I can even touch it."

These words shocked Farah, and even Ke Wen was a little surprised by the other party's psychological quality.

Farah couldn't help but point to the top of the woman's shoulder and said, "Can you feel it?"

"That's right."

The woman raised her hand and touched the air above her shoulder: "It's sticking its head right here, right? It always scares me suddenly like this in my ears."

"Madam, I have to admire your courage."

Ke Wen interrupted. He looked at the other person and said, "If it weren't for the fact that you weren't afraid of it at all, I'm afraid it would have attacked you a long time ago. It's rare to see such a serious evil spirit haunting you."

"Because I have seen something more...greater than it."

There was some hesitation in the woman's words. After she finished speaking, she walked into the hall and said with a smile: "Can I sit down and talk? To be honest, because I have been carrying it all day long, my body is

I have been very weak recently."

"Ah! Please sit down quickly!"

Farah reflexively wanted to go forward, but was frightened and stopped after seeing the evil spirit.

The woman didn't pay attention. She walked to the sofa and sat down on her own. She smiled at Coven who sat down opposite her and said, "Delilah, you must be Mr. Coven Quinn."

Ke Wen nodded and asked curiously: "Since you have heard of me, shouldn't you have come here long ago? Why are you here now?"

The woman named Delilah was stunned. She shook her head slightly and said, "Sorry, I only heard about you an hour ago. Do you mean that many people know you?"

Kewen felt that he was not on the right channel, so he changed the question and asked again: "Where did you hear about me?"

“Bar of Light.”

Delilah gave a surprising answer: "Lucifer led me here."

"That bastard?" Ke Wen was stunned.

"Well……"

Delilah's eyes flashed with horror for a moment, as if she was very shocked by what Coven called Lucifer.

Ke Wen noticed that momentary look, so he continued to ask: "It seems you know Lucifer's identity?"

"Yes, it is……"

Delilah didn't hide anything. She nodded and said, "I had been a resident singer there before, and then Lucifer introduced me to the entertainment industry."

Ke Wen suddenly understood, but after sizing up the other person, he was still a little curious.

He asked out of curiosity, so he continued: "But I don't see anything strange about your soul, so at what price did you trade with him?"

"No, not really."

Delilah smiled with some affection and said: "Lucifer did not enter into that kind of contract transaction with me, he was just an ordinary free help."

Ke Wen chuckled and planned to ask Lucifer what game he was playing later.

Returning to the topic, he asked Delilah: "Where is this evil spirit? Why didn't he help you get rid of it?"

"Lucifer said he could only help me with ordinary things."

Delilah replied: "And if you want to get rid of the evil spirit, you have to make a contract with him. It's for my own good, so he introduced me to come here to find you."

"Fine."

Ke Wen nodded: "Then skip the staged process, the consultation fee is five thousand, and the exorcism fee is two thousand."

"no problem."

Delilah smiled and opened her handbag, took out the check and started filling in the numbers.

Ke Wen grabbed it out of thin air, gathered the air and created a metal gun.

He waved his hand and threw the pistol to Farah who was hiding at the front desk.

This made the little girl scream in surprise and hurriedly took down the pistol.

"boss?"

The little girl was very confused. She grabbed hold of it in a panic, not understanding what Ke Wen meant.

In response, Ke Wen stood up and said: "Don't you want to be an exorcist assistant? Since you have awakened the extraordinary power, let's start training with this evil spirit."

Pointing at the pistol in the little girl's hand: "Use the weapon in your hand to destroy this evil spirit yourself."

"me……"

The little girl's hand that was holding the gun was shaking a little. She said anxiously: "Boss! I have never fired a gun! What if I hit someone?!"

"It's okay." Ke Wen smiled and said, "That's just a water gun. It's filled with holy water. It doesn't matter if it hits people."

"Water gun?"

Farah was dumbfounded. She quickly turned the pistol over and checked, but saw nothing.

"Stop dawdling." Ke Wen urged: "Hurry up and exorcise the devil."

"oh oh……"

Farah responded and slowly walked over to the sofa.

She wanted to hide behind Ke Wen, but Ke Wen dodged sideways, allowing the little girl to face the evil spirit without any hindrance.

This little girl faced her fear and didn't know what to do.

Ke Wen reluctantly reminded: "Raise the gun, aim, and shoot."

The little girl did it reflexively.

She pointed the gun at the evil spirit on Delilah's back, but she couldn't pull the trigger at all.

Seeing this, Kewen had no choice but to push forward.

He took back the suppression of the evil spirit, causing the evil spirit to suddenly show an attacking posture.

A scream sounded.

Faced with a ferocious evil spirit that was about to pounce, little girl Farah suddenly lost her mind and pulled the trigger one after another.

Lines of water sprayed out from the muzzle of the gun and fell on the evil spirit like concentrated sulfuric acid.

Amidst the miserable screams, the evil spirit's body melted rapidly, and finally turned into a trace of smoke and disappeared into the air.

But Farah was still screaming "ahhh" and continuing to pull the trigger.

Ke Wen was speechless, stretched out his hand to lift Farah's wrist, and scolded him funny: "Okay! Look what you have done to the client!"

Farrah's sanity finally returns.

She gasped and stopped shooting, looking at Delilah in a daze.

In response, Delilah stretched her arms very cooperatively and showed her wet clothes to Farah.

"Yeah!" Farah, who had completely come to her senses, whispered, and apologized in a panic: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I, you... are you okay?"

"It doesn't matter." Delilah smiled nonchalantly and said, "Thank you for helping me get rid of the evil spirits. As for the clothes, just wait for them to dry naturally."

"Yes, I'm sorry!" the little girl Farah said shamefully: "I, I will go get you a towel right now!"

"okay."

Coven intervened, pointed to the front desk, and said to Farah: "Go back and reflect on your first exorcism process."

After finishing speaking, Ke Wen pointed at Delilah's body, and a warm wind blew by, causing the water stains on her body to disappear instantly.

And Farah followed the instructions like a puppet on strings, walked back to the front desk as if she had lost her soul, sat there and silently started to stare...
