Chapter Thirty-One: Dirty

On the other side, Central Park, the sewers.

A bright red giant egg that was bigger than a truck kept beating, and a black shadow inside the egg kept roaring, hitting the wall of the giant egg, as if it would burst out of the egg in the next second.

In front of the egg stood two people with no faces, dressed in black. Not far away, there were many people wearing the same clothes as them, busy coming in and out.

The person on the left reached out and touched the giant egg, then asked the person next to him in a sharp and hoarse tone:

"How long until it's ready?"

The man in black next to him dissipated the magic power that obscured his face, revealing his compound eyes like a fly. He looked at the giant egg carefully, then dipped his hand into some mucus on the giant egg, put it in his mouth, tasted it carefully, and shook it.

He shook his head and replied:

"It's still early. There's not enough time. The bodies and souls of the sinners you sent are of very poor quality."

When the man in black on the left heard these somewhat accusatory words, he took off his hood directly, revealing his six pairs of eyes and stared at the compound-eyed man, and asked directly:

"You haven't been negotiating with that bullshit president who is a criminal, and you are still trying to cooperate. You are only allowed to catch homeless people and drug addicts who have been marked by them. How can the quality of this garbage be good? Now you are fighting the same thing in turn.

Shall I rake?"

The compound-eyed man ignored what the six-eyed woman said, but maintained his attitude: I want to negotiate, and you have to bring me people. I will not take the blame for making the matter bigger or affecting the plan of the God Envoy.

You have to do it for me too.

Just when the two were in a stalemate, a bird-headed man in gorgeous robes slowly walked from the depths of the sewer. The two hurriedly knelt on the ground respectfully and shouted together:

"I've seen the envoy of God!"

The bird-headed man raised his sleeves casually, and a breeze blew up from the sewer, helping the two of them up.

Then it sat directly in the void, with the breeze supporting its body under it. It first bowed devoutly to the God of Filth and asked:

"Holy God, how are you doing with the things you have arranged recently? Yicang, please tell me first."

The six-eyed woman glanced at the compound-eyed man, Yicang, with a hint of jealousy.

Yicang did not dare to neglect the divine envoy in front of him. He hurriedly bowed once and replied:

"My God, your blood-stained beast has a very good appetite recently. I think it will definitely be a big help to you when it hatches from its eggs.

The priests from all over the country have basically hidden their identities and started to arrange the magic circle nodes, waiting for your order to make this country of sinful people forever shrouded in the power of gods."

You really know how to choose nice things to say. The six-eyed woman couldn't help but complain after hearing Yu Cang's report.

There is nothing wrong with what Yu Cang said, except that he did not mention any problems.

"Very good, Twelve Mosquitoes, what about you? I remember that your mission is to find blood food for the blood-stained beasts, and also to monitor the priests in various places, right? How is it going?"

Listening to the indifferent tone of the bird-headed messenger, the six-eyed woman, Twelve Mosquitoes, felt her heart tighten. She understood that all the good things had been said by Yicang, and now it was her turn to say the bad things.

She answered bravely:

"By God, although the quality of blood food has not been very good recently, the good thing is that the country we are cooperating with has relaxed its control over drugs. There are obviously many more drug addicts, and we have a wider range of catching blood food.

A lot.

But just yesterday, for some unknown reason, something happened to Priest Xibu who was highly recommended by Yicang. Node 18 was detonated in advance, and the signs of Priest Xibu’s life also disappeared. Currently we are still..."

Twelve Mosquitoes reported tremblingly. She lowered her head and did not notice the increasingly angry expression of the bird-headed divine envoy, nor the slightly raised cuffs of the divine envoy.

"boom!"

The twelve mosquitoes were directly knocked away, bright red blood spurted out of their mouths, and they fell to the ground and almost fell into coma.

The angel put down his raised hand and cursed:

"Useless trash! You can't handle anything assigned to you!"

The Twelve Mosquitoes tried hard to get up from the ground and apologize to the divine envoy, but they failed after struggling for a long time.

Seeing her pitiful look, the bird-headed angel became even more disgusted. It wiped its hands and said calmly:

"This is the last warning that will be detrimental to your work. Next time you dare to be so useless, I will feed you to the blood-stained beast as blood food, which can be regarded as the last effect."

While the divine messenger was speaking, he looked at Yicang intentionally or unintentionally.

Yicang knew that the God's envoy's harsh attack on the Twelve Mosquitoes this time was largely done to show him, so he hurriedly expressed his loyalty and said:

"In the name of God, sir, please rest assured that we will definitely resolve these matters and will never distract you again."

After hearing this, the divine envoy was not as angry as before, but nodded with satisfaction and said:

"It's best this way. You still need to put more thought into the matter of the blood-stained beast. I'll go and take a look at Xibu's affairs personally."

After the divine messenger finished speaking, he patted Y Cang's shoulder intimately. Frightened Y Cang quickly wanted to say a few more words to express his loyalty, but found that the divine messenger had disappeared.

He looked at the half-dead Twelve Mosquitoes lying on the ground, sighed in a rather complicated manner, and waved his hand to his men to take her down to recuperate.

……………………………………………………

Princeton city, library ruins.

An old man walking with a cane and walking vigorously looked at the ruins in front of him, feeling the familiar atmosphere in it, and asked the workers who were cleaning up the debris:

"Young man, what's going on here? How did it become like this?"

The worker who was working originally didn't want to talk to this old man who appeared out of nowhere, but when he saw a few banknotes suddenly appearing in the old man's hand, he was still very attractive, so he replied obediently:

"I heard from the mayor's **** that the library exploded because of yesterday's poison gas outbreak, which caused all kinds of messy problems. I'm just a working person and don't understand this."

The old man listened to the workers' nonsense, but didn't say anything more. He gave the banknotes to the workers and walked straight into the ruins.

I don’t know what method he used to walk in without anyone noticing.

He picked up a stone fragment from among the ruins and felt the breath on it carefully.

Sure enough, it is not only the lackeys of the God of Filth, but also the aura of our Quiet Church. It seems that my perception yesterday was indeed correct. The goddess has indeed sent an envoy to save the lamb trapped here!

There were tears in the old man's eyes. At this moment, he seemed to feel a divine light bathing him, which warmed his heart.

But there is a more important thing waiting for him than searching for the divine envoy.

The old man sneered as he sensed the bird-headed angel coming to Princeton quickly.

You are so evil-minded. What else can you do if you come to this small town at this time?

Either she knew about his arrival, or she was looking for clues about the divine envoy, either way the old man would never allow it.

He directly cast his divine spell and rushed in the direction of the bird-headed envoy.

Let me teach you a lesson, you filthy bastard!
