When the Kunlun League made a decision, the representative of the Zhengyi Sect spoke first. This was also a tradition to show respect for the largest sect in the world that had maintained the stability of the spiritual world for thousands of years.
After the Zhengyi Sect expresses its position, those with different opinions can speak and discuss in turn. In the end, the twenty-five sects on duty will implement the ruling of the sect representatives. Most of the time, the handling method announced by the Zhengyi Sect is basically the final result of the ruling.
Why did Zhengyimen let the junior disciple Guang Ren speak first as a representative? His master, Master He Feng, was present! This is also an attitude that tells everyone that there is no need to be scrupulous and everyone can speak freely.
If He Feng speaks first, even if others have different opinions, they may not be able to refute or dare not refute.
He Feng is recognized by the Kunlun spiritual community as the best swordsman in the world. As for whether he is truly the best swordsman in the world, it is difficult to say. He Feng himself has never claimed to be the best swordsman in the world. It would not be controversial if his master had lived up to his age.
He Feng is said to be ninety-nine years old. If you know anecdotes about spiritual practice, you will notice a phenomenon. There are many masters, whether living or in history, who seem to be ninety-nine years old. I don’t know what the reason is.
A few years ago, when He Feng was asked about his life span, he replied that it was ninety-nine. This year it is still ninety-nine. It is estimated that when someone asks again next year, the answer will still be ninety-nine.
.
This may be a kind of humility of the elders.
But some people seem a bit shameless in this regard. Old Man Yang is sixty-three years old. His passport says that he needs a new passport every year. I don’t know who he got it from.
Hua Zhenxing was thinking about the age of He Feng and Old Man Yang, and was waiting to hear the discussions from the various monks present. Because after Guang Ren finished speaking, Hua Zhenxing could also feel that many people seemed to have something to say.
Hua Zhenxing has not cultivated his mind, but he has cultivated in the Seventh Realm and is very good at sensing vitality. He senses emotions from the breath of vitality, which can be regarded as an analogy.
Hua Zhenxing was a little surprised. Guang Ren had nothing to talk about. Isn't this reasonable?
It is a pity that everyone did not continue the discussion, because the leader of the Mei Alliance announced at this moment: It is getting late and some people are injured. Everyone can take a short rest and discuss again tomorrow afternoon.
You should think carefully about what you have just done, and you can also invite colleagues to communicate privately. After dawn, Yuan Shuomen will deliver the investigation materials collected by Lu Gaoqian, and the Kunlun League will forward them to everyone in a timely manner.
It was already past midnight, and ordinary people should take a rest, but since we were all monks here, it didn't matter if we stayed up for a few days or nights, even if we didn't eat.
But Alliance Leader Mei is right. The materials mentioned by Lu Gaogan must be sent first, and the Kunlun Alliance must seize the time to confirm some situations. In addition, everyone can discuss and draft some topics in private and select representatives to speak, so as to avoid a chaotic situation.
Although there are not enough chairs in the Baihuashan Dojo, the place is large enough to accommodate three hundred people. These monks do not need large-bed rooms or standard rooms to stay overnight.
Huazhenxing was arranged in a very elegant thatched cottage with an independent courtyard, a dedicated bedroom or quiet room inside, and a reception area outside.
This is the best guest house in Baihuashan Dojo, used to entertain visiting fellow Taoist elders. It should have been arranged for Tao Ranke, He Feng or Mei Yeshi, but now Hua Zhenxing is a distinguished guest from outside, and he is injured.
, so I arranged it for him.
After the conference, there was a small meeting. Although Hua Zhenxing was injured, he did not sleep. He first chose one of the elixirs from a bunch of elixirs and took it. Then Manman used the fragrance of water to help him regulate his meridians and internal organs, and then returned to
There were already people waiting in the living room.
Ding Qi and Xian Hao from Fangwaimen, Monk Shi Buquan and Shang Ni, Bai Shaoliu, the owner of Zuhuai Villa, and Hua Piaobiao, the deacon of Wanbian Sect, were all there, and Wang Fengshou accompanied them to drink tea.
It was natural for the group of them to get together. Originally, the leader of the Wan Bian Sect, Cheng Tianle, was also coming, but was temporarily called away by Ume Yeshi. There must be many small gatherings like this in the Baihuashan Dojo tonight.
At this moment, Hua Zhenxing understood why Teacher Ding had previously asked him to protect Shi Buquan and his wife on a whim. Because Ding Qi had noticed that someone was secretly spying on Nanjun Community, and today it was confirmed that the person was Lin Taiwei's disciple Lu Xingzhen
.
The biggest surprise in this matter was that Hua Zhenxing would actually be injured. He was carrying the Talisman of Keeping Righteousness, so who would be willing to get into trouble like this? Unexpectedly, no one really figured out the situation!
After drinking the mountain spirit tea brought by Hua Bifa and picked by Yao Cultivator, Hua Zhenxing took out a plate of white jade hooves for snacks. Considering today's occasion, he did not take a piece of deer or antelope legs for barbecue supper.
Bai Shaoliu asked: "Brother Hua, I see that you are in a bad mood. Could it be that the injury is recurring?"
Hua Zhenxing: "There is no problem with the injury, and the recovery is faster than I thought. I just feel uneasy. The Kunlun League meeting is reaching a critical moment, and the meeting is suddenly suspended. I always feel that it is not smooth enough."
Manman: "Yes, it's like doing something you like to do and suddenly stopping in the middle of it."
Manman didn't think there was anything wrong with what he said, but Ding Qi and others couldn't accept it. Xian Hao said: "It's appropriate to take a temporary break. So many people and things are suddenly involved, and many people have to digest it."
Hua Piaofi echoed: "For example, Qianliu Mountain suddenly solved the mystery of the disappearance of the sect's eldest disciple Hou Nianming thirty years ago. It turned out that the whole sect was murdered, and Hou Nianming's own affairs were not glorious. It will definitely take time to accept it."
Bai Shaoliu: "The real most uncomfortable thing is probably Yuanshuo Clan..." At this point, he was suddenly startled, and then changed his tone and said, "I just received the spiritual message from Master Cheng, and something will happen first tomorrow.
vote."
Ding Qi: "Will the twenty-five sects of the Kunlun League implement the rotation of sects?"
Bai Shaoliu: "It seems that Teacher Ding has also guessed it. It's already time. Leader Mei's original intention was to withdraw the next sect, but the specific sect to be removed has not yet been determined, and replace it with Jiulin Chanyuan, but Jiulin Chanyuan
Several eminent monks declined..."
The Kunlun League has permanent deliberation, ruling, and execution agencies, and there are twenty-five sects to execute the sects. These 25 sects are not fixed and are elected once a year on a voluntary basis. However, as a rule, the thirteen major sects of Kunlun
Always listed.
The other twelve sects basically represent the sects with the strongest execution ability in the Kunlun cultivation world outside of the thirteen major sects.
The twenty-five executive sects are nominally re-elected every year, but in fact the changes are very small. If Jiulin Chanyuan still refuses this year, there will be no changes based on the original situation.
But something unexpected happened today. Cheng Tianle was holding a small meeting at Mei Yeshi. Yuanshuo Sect took the initiative to withdraw from the list of twenty-five sects and execute the sect tomorrow.
On the surface, it seems that the Yuanshuo sect is trying to avoid suspicion because it is the elders of the sect who have to make the decision, but the actual impact goes far beyond this incident.
Yuanshuo Sect's attitude was resolute, Mei Yeshi agreed to Mei Yanxue's request, and then nominated another sect to become the executive sect of the Kunlun Alliance, namely Fang Wai Sect.
What does this mean? Since the establishment of the Kunlun League, a certain seemingly unbreakable pattern has been broken! As one of the thirteen major sects of Kunlun, Yuanshuo Sect, at least in the next year, will no longer be an executive Sect.
Hua Bibiao was surprised and said: "This has a much greater impact than killing a Lu Gaogan!"
Bai Shaoliu: "This proposal will be officially announced tomorrow afternoon. Leader Mei will communicate with the various factions tonight to persuade everyone to reach an agreement. Leader Cheng asked me to tell Head Ding that he will not refuse at that time."
Ding Qi was silent for a few seconds, and finally took a breath and said, "Of course I won't refuse!"
Xian Hao secretly thought that Mr. Zhuang’s calculations were really accurate!
Others present did not know that before coming, Zhuang Mengzhou, the Supreme Elder of Fangwaimen and a man from a famous family, called Ding Qi to tell his fortune, and this was the result.
Manman asked curiously: "How will the Kunlun League vote tomorrow?"
Bai Shaoliu: "Leader Mei first announced that it was time to elect the twenty-five sects to execute the sect this year, and Yuanshuo sect proposed not to take up the post this time.
Then Leader Mei will take advantage of the situation and propose that Fang Waimen be the executive sect. As long as Fang Waimen is willing, the twenty-five sects present will vote to approve it.
That should be the last time that the Yuanshuo Sect participates in the Kunlun League’s meeting this year, and then the execution qualification will be replaced by the Fang Waimen Sect. For such a matter, more than half of the representatives of the twenty-five factions must agree..."
Manman: "Will anyone disagree?"
Bai Shaoliu: "Of course you can disagree, but there is a prerequisite for anyone who wants to raise objections, and that is to voluntarily stand up and ask to be responsible for the execution of the sect, thinking that one's own family is more suitable than Fang Waimen, rather than pushing others to replace Fang Waimen. "
Master Bai introduced the Kunlun League’s rules of procedure
For example, if you nominate Fang Waimen as one of the twenty-five executive sects on rotation, if any sect objects, there must be a prerequisite, that is, the sect believes that it is more suitable and stands up to explain the reasons.
For example, if the Wuliang Sect stands up to oppose, it means that the Wuliang Sect thinks it is more suitable than Fang Waimen.
However, the Wuliang Sect cannot say that Fang Waimen is not good, but recommend Qianliushan. This is because this kind of thing follows the principle of voluntariness. If Qianliushan is willing, he can stand up on his own, and there is no need for the Wuliang Sect to muddy the waters.
There is a difference between what a monk does and what the world does. The most important thing is fate. Moreover, in this kind of situation, it is best not to speak carelessly if you don't have a great level of cultivation.
There is no discrimination in cultivation, if you have it, you have it, if you don't, you don't have it. To execute a sect, you must be willing to take on the responsibility of execution, and you must also have the ability to execute it. Just like today's victory over Lu Gaogan, ordinary monks really don't have this ability.
If there is a sect that does not recognize the Fang Wai Sect, it must apply voluntarily, and in the end it will be voted on by the representatives of the twenty-five factions. For such a matter, as long as more than half of the representatives of the twenty-five factions agree, it can be passed.
There are also some major matters that must be approved by all 25 representatives.
If it is a fundamental issue involving the purpose of the Kunlun Alliance, it cannot be decided only by the representatives of the twenty-five sects, but must be discussed and finally decided at the World Sect Conference, by the sects all over the world and even various casual cultivators.
Someone may ask again, what should we do if we still cannot reach consensus on some issues?
Anyone who asks this question must first understand the fact that not everything in this world can reach consensus. Various contradictions and conflicts have always existed from ancient times to the present.
When faced with problems where consensus cannot be reached, there are two approaches depending on the nature.
The first is to seek common ground while reserving differences. First clarify those consensuses that can be reached, such as enacting laws, and then tolerate those that cannot be reached, such as customs that do not violate the law.
Any form of seeking common ground while reserving differences is based on "sameness" to accommodate "differences." Sameness is the foundation and represents the most fundamental purpose and consensus of an organization, such as national identity, ethnic identity, and civilization identity.
If it loses its most fundamental purpose and consensus, any organization will lose the basis of its existence and will either collapse or deteriorate. For example, the new alliance established by Huazhenxing in Fiso Port had a purpose of "serving the people."
If the new alliance wants to change the status quo of the entire country, it must first answer questions such as why the change is made, how to change it, and what is the purpose of the change.
This is the consensus reached by all members of the new alliance. Various action plans are formulated based on this goal, otherwise actions without motivation are meaningless.
If one day the New Alliance abandons this purpose, it will either cease to exist, or it will no longer be the New Alliance today. The same is true for the Kunlun Alliance.
Therefore, there are always some conflicts in the world that are of different natures, which are inevitable and cannot be tolerated.
Has anything like this ever happened in the history of the Kunlun spiritual world? Of course it has! One thousand two hundred years ago, the first world sect conference convened by Patriarch Zhengyi was the break between the two camps.
As a result of the conflict, the monks who were unwilling to abide by the precepts of scattered walking and the precepts of sharing the punishment were all exiled to the Kunlun Wonderland. The monks who stayed in the world must abide by the precepts of the loose walking and the sharing of the punishment. This was the prototype of the Kunlun Alliance.
Each sect has its own sect rules, and even the casual cultivators have their own precepts given by teachings. The Kunlun League has no control over these matters. However, the precepts of individual cultivators and the precepts of joint execution are the fundamental consensus that all members of the Kunlun League must reach.
If this consensus is overturned, it means that the Kunlun League will be disintegrated and may be replaced by an organization of another nature. Even if it is still called the Kunlun League in name, its nature has also changed.
In the years that followed, the Tianxia Sect Conference, which focused on discussion, and the Zhengyi Sanshan Conference, which focused on exchanges, were held every sixty years. On weekdays, the Zhengyi Sect was mainly responsible for liaising with the various sects.
In an era when social structure and world rules change very slowly, this model may be able to meet the requirements.
However, due to the great changes that have not happened in thousands of years, the execution ability of this loose alliance has been greatly challenged. Therefore, the Kunlun cultivation world needs to unite various factions and establish a permanent adjudication and execution agency.
This is the Kunlun Alliance today.
The opportunity for its establishment was the emergence of a new conflict. The group of monks in Kunlun Wonderland wanted to return to the human world, and they secretly made many small moves to break the ban imposed by the Millennium Covenant.
So in 1997, experts from various Kunlun sects gathered together, and with the support of Master Shouzheng and Mr. Feng, they appointed Mei Yeshi as their leader and formed a group to enter the Kunlun Wonderland.
Shouzheng leveled Wenzuishan with one sword, and Mr. Feng made a ten-year agreement to end the fighting.
The Kunlun League does not oppose the opening of the door between East and West Kunlun for exchanges, but there is one condition: monks must abide by the precepts of dispersion and joint punishment while in the world, and those who oppose it will stay in West Kunlun and separate.
Ten years later, in 2007, the two Kunluns finally formally formed an alliance and agreed to observe the precepts in the world. Ume Yeshi also became the leader of the East and West Kunluns, which solved the historical problems left over 1,200 years ago.
.
This is the brief history of the Kunlun League. Bai Shaoliu introduced it in quite detail.
Hua Zhenxing sighed: "Today's Kunlun Alliance has not been established for a long time!"
Bai Shaoliu: "It is true that it has not been established for a long time, but since the establishment of the Kunlun League, things have changed a lot, and the Kunlun League has been greatly affected. Brother Hua, do you know why the Kunlun League chose Baihuashan Road for this meeting?
Field?"
Hua Zhenxing: "Ah, isn't there something important about this? Isn't it because it's nearby?"
Ding Qi shook his head and said: "For these people, how far can it be? The reason why it is arranged in Baihua Mountain, not Zhengyisan Mountain or Mangdang Mountain, is to prevent everyone from feeling too much pressure.
Speak freely.”
Seeing that Hua Zhenxing was still a little confused, Bai Shaoliu asked again: "If it is just to organize a Lu Gaogan, is it necessary to make such a big noise and summon so many people to the scene?
Look at the things mentioned today, the people involved, Lu Gaoqian, Lu Mubai, Hou Nianming, Lin Taiwei, what do they represent? What about the things not mentioned? How many such people are there?
Lu Mubai was once the head of Dingfengtan, Lin Taiwei was the elder of Wuliang Sect, and Lu Gaoqian was even more terrible. He was the elder of Yuanshuo Sect, one of the thirteen major sects of Kunlun, and the top master of Yuanshuo Sect!
With Lu Gaoqian’s cultivation status, he is qualified to sit in Wucheng Zhiwei Tower! What does it mean if such people have eliminated their problems, not if, and they have eliminated their problems? "
Hua Zhenxing blinked and said: "You mean that tomorrow will be the highlight of the Kunlun League's meeting. It is not just to deal with a high-ranking Lu cadre, but there are problems within the Kunlun League that need to be solved?"
Bai Shaoliu nodded and said: "Yes, it is a very important signal that Yuanshuo Clan, one of the thirteen major sects, will no longer be a rotating sect this time. Yuanshuo Clan understands the key, and I don't know if others can
I can’t understand it.”
Ding Qi: "When it comes to understanding people's hearts, there is no one better than Master Bai."
Ding Qi is a psychiatrist by training. He was a PhD candidate in psychology and a teaching assistant at Jinghu University. Later, he was expelled from the university because he made a mistake that he had to make.
Even Teacher Ding admires Bai Shaoliu's ability to understand people's minds. It seems that Bai Shaoliu is definitely very high in this aspect.
Hua Zhenxing said with some anxiety: "What's wrong with the Kunlun League today? Can you explain it more clearly? I'm here to study, not only in Chunhua, but also in the Kunlun League. Don't let me learn from Hu.
Tu!"
Bai Shaoliu: "Then let me ask you, the basis of the Kunlun Alliance's consensus is the Sanxing Precepts and the Common Execution Precepts. What is the purpose of the Sanxing Precepts and the Common Execution Precepts, whose interests do they represent, and whose interests are they protected?"
