Chapter 443 Dead End

Just as the Battle Sisters were retreating, another situation began to appear on the chaotic battlefield.

During the fierce fighting, some rebels began to exchange fire with each other.

While some cultists fight over the spoils of war and the honor of killing the nun, Nasir Wartek's red pirate, Big Brother, is obsessed with his goal.

Velez and her sisters retreated from one line of defense to another in an orderly manner. The tyrant's men attacked each other in order to capture or kill a nun alive, and each monster wanted to win dark honor for himself.

The battle has turned into a competition between barbarians. The nuns guarding the psyker's warehouse were brutally slaughtered. Each nun sacrificed to buy precious seconds for their companions.

As time goes by, the heavy explosive bomb slowly falls into silence, and the multi-tube molten flame gradually disappears.

But neither of the two parties in the melee in the cabin noticed that an unnatural disturbance began to appear at the subspace node of Saint Shbolles——

"We can no longer retreat."

After running for about eight minutes, Velez found herself trapped in the darkness of the cabin. Behind her was a maximum-security cell where Kirobia Knox was being held.

In the smoky corridor, she could see the shadowy silhouettes of the Red Corsairs, advancing over the bodies of the nuns.

"Retreat to the cell!"

Velez shouted to a sister beside her.

The next second, the nun who had no chance to reply was interrupted by a bomb.

The few remaining nuns dropped their exhausted weapons and retreated. Velez fired a hasty shot at the red pirate and saw the bomb bounce off the armor.

Then the pistol clicked, telling her that the worst had arrived.

"Damn it!"

Velez roared angrily, and a burst of bombs hit her side, causing her to bend over and roll to avoid it.

During this process, she kept trying to contact the Inquisitor.

"Judge!"

"Um?"

About thirty seconds later, the Inquisitor's voice appeared on the radio, and it could be heard from the communicator that the bridge was silent, completely different from before.

But Velez had no intention of asking what happened. She only had her own mission in her mind.

"Judge, do me a favor."

"What is it?"

"Tell Captain Tyak to disable the psychic restriction shields on the cargo deck."

"but……"

Velez was covering his face with his hands to prevent himself from being hurt by the sparks from the bomb.

"We can continue chatting and wasting time, or you can do something, Inquisitor. No matter what tool we use, we can do the job the Emperor has given us."

On the other end of the communicator, Captain Tyak was obviously opposed to this.

"Do as she says."

Then she heard the Inquisitor's order, which silenced Captain Tyak's protests.

"...technicians are about to shut down the isolation equipment."

After hearing these words, Velez retreated towards Witch Knox's cell. She had already seen the outline of the red pirates, as well as some of the cultists' heavily armed soldiers.

These renegade Astartes, with their pitted crimson armor plates, spiked pauldrons and horned helmets, were surrounded by their fearsome leader, "Big Brother" Nasir Votek.

Under the leader's iron-blooded suppression, the melee within the rebels had stopped. As he walked forward, Velez saw a pair of power claws—the evil claw tips were emitting dark energy.

Half of Nasir Wotek's face was missing - this was the only "gift" left to him by the war in Barbuda. It was replaced by a bionic and optical lens. He was now staring at Vilay with a ferocious smile like a wolf.

tz.

Velez blinked, feeling a sudden sense of relief. Through her hand on the wall, she felt the tremor of the generator disappear - the device that restricted the psyker was turned off.

"I admit you fought well, but you can end this bloodshed immediately, woman."

Nasir Wotek roared in the corridor.

"Hand over the witch named Kirubia Knox and her mutated relatives, and I will make your death a quick one!"

Velez's suspicions were confirmed. The Red Pirates somehow discovered that a black ship full of exiled psykers was in this system.

This thought made the nun feel a chill in her back. It meant that there must be traitors and moles on the ship, and only they could send the tyrant the specific location of the black ship.

She thought of Georgia Knox - but her mouth and limbs were locked tightly, and she was locked in the darkest deep cabin of the black ship.

Could it be that she used some psychic means to contact the Red Pirates?

Although he can't speak now, the psyker must understand that serving the tyrant of Badab is obviously better than being the emperor's fuel.

Velez looked up at the terrifying "big brother". Knox would be Nasir Wartek's gift to the tyrant of Badab, a psychic weapon.

"Are you here to rob our goods?"

"certainly."

"You're welcome, it's yours."

Velez said, walked through the dungeon door to the cell, then pressed a switch and slammed the door made of special soundproof material.

For a moment, the agonized cries of the imprisoned psykers filled the cell.

Across the cargo decks, psykers are experiencing the process of reawakening their powers, free to harness their terrifying abilities without any restrictions.

The Red Pirates team realized what was happening, but before they could do anything, the cell door was suddenly blown away, hitting the Red Pirates and smashing them into the wall.

Some psykers vented their rage in this form, while others used their powers to pull the traitors in half, while fire erupted from the cells and swept through the corridors, engulfing some of the Red Corsairs.

After a while, the Chaos Space Marines were surrounded by psykers, and their screaming figures running around were clearly visible under the muzzle flash.

Through the communication channel, Velez heard the sound of fear she released.

An unbridled psyker, filled with rage and hatred, lashing out at everyone in his vicinity.

With completely unrestricted abilities, the Wizard not only attacked the red pirates blocking their way, but also killed the surviving Astropaths and Stormtroopers.

Velez heard their agonizing deaths, she heard the psykers wreaking savage vengeance on their jailers with impunity, and she told herself that sacrifice was necessary, there was no alternative - these men were sacrificing their lives for their Emperor.

out of life.

But she was still heartbroken.

When Velez turned back to Gerubia Knox's cell, the two remaining nuns were pressing the weight of their armor on the thin metal door.

The cell door could not be locked from the inside, and Emiliana Anatole stood with her nun, flamethrower pointed at the door.

Then the captain nun lifted the witch from her chair and punched her.

Since boarding the Black Ship, the illegal psyker has been unconscious due to drugs and psychic limitations.

However, when all this disappeared, she turned into a beast again, struggling constantly, the muscles on her face kept twitching, and her mouth tried to get rid of the metal bridle.

Because of these actions, Velez went up and slapped the opponent.
