Chapter 717 The Old Nightmare

Following the traces left by the Spirits, they found a path, although it was only a little wider than a path cut from the cliffs.

The undulating roads are lined with steep mountain walls. Although it is already pitch black, the shadow of the mountain still makes the road almost completely dark.

At the narrowest position in the passage ahead, only a rhino could barely pass, Soshiyan watched his scout squad stay there for a while, looking from one side to the other, searching for the tracks of trigger traps or mines on the rock surface.

So far, nothing has been found, which makes Soshyan start to feel uncomfortable.

Just here, all traces disappeared, and the Spirits seemed to have left no trace, if they were indeed following this path.

Or maybe this is just another of the many scams of aliens.

Then, veteran Claris raised his hand and signaled that the passage was safe.

Even though he had lost an arm a long time ago, the sergeant insisted on leading the reconnaissance squad in person, Soshyan was glad to be able to examine the access through his eyes.

Suddenly, Claris changed the signal. He quickly lowered his hand and pulled out the explosive pistol. The other scouts rushed into the bunkers on both sides of the road or rolled behind the stones and held their weapons in front of them.

Soshiyang, who was far away from the passage, stood at a high place and saw their movements. In a flash, the sound echoed along the cliff and reached his ears.

Suddenly, he saw a light flashing above the cliff wall. In the narrowest part of the passage, a group of green anti-gravity tanks with smooth surfaces slid into the position.

"So, this is indeed a scam."

Soshiyang thought calmly.

"This is something we can deal with."

"Claris."

Then he whispered to the voice channel in his armor:

"Stayed in the bunkers on both sides of the passage, Mark led the Terminator to enter the passage with the extermination aircraft. Talos, and thought of some ways to remove the snipers on the mountain wall. If the spirits deployed a blocking position, they would definitely deploy snipers."

After he finished speaking, everything took action at the same time.

Then he issued an order to the eleven extinction aircraft, and those machinery were always following the team, and only Soshiyang could command them.

They seem to have extremely high intelligence, and do not need to preset any commands. They only need to issue the most basic instructions and will be executed based on their own judgment.

In a sense, this is indeed very scary.

Soshiyan realized that he seemed to be stepping on a red line again.

But due to the situation, sometimes I really don’t care about so much.

Then eleven huge components slowly walked out of the shadows, and then the back covers of their backpacks opened one by one, and the hidden spouts began to heat up, almost instantly reaching the maximum speed.

With just a whistle, a blue flame burst out from the jet port, pushing the heavy structure into the air, and drawing an arc with its stable posture, and finally landed on the ground, creating a loud bang.

It was not until these terrible metal components appeared that the left-behind elves realized what was going on. When they hurriedly aimed at the target, it was too late.

The Miejue Ji leaned his body and entered a sprinting posture without any aesthetic sense. The bulbous sensory central structure locked into a cold beastly gaze. The weapons on the robotic arm began to activate, and at the same time the spear-shaped limbs retracted eagerly like wild animals, preparing to sprint.

The next second, the Spirit Clan declared war with the huge roar of the Star Fort cannon. A dense rain of bullets swept across the eleven armors, and almost none of them missed.

But these bullets were ruthlessly absorbed by the deflected position and armored shells, and had almost no effect.

Then, the machinery moved.

They skimmed over a rain of bullets and raided the scorpion tanks from the other side, without using long-range weapons - after inspection, all extinction aircraft had only 20% of the backup energy left, and Soshiyan could only order them to adopt the most energy-saving melee mode to prevent the fierce battles behind.

Just as the extinction aircraft launched a charge, the Space Marines began to wash the surface of the rock with the firepower of the bomb gun from above, and the crushed rocks rolled into the passage like an avalanche.

Company Commander Mark took big steps and began to run, waved to the rest of the Terminators to follow them into the passage. When he passed by the scouts who occasionally poked out and fired a volley and immediately hid back into the cover, he noticed that the passage had a wider opening on the other side.

There was a dozen greenskins blocking the space there, and they were very interested in the emerging enemies and kept roaring and shooting at them.

The Terminator entered the front in a fan shape and stood firm on the stone ground. The storm bombs and assault guns were aimed at the Greenskin, which launched the charge, and began to fire volleys.

The extinction aircraft also caught their targets, or in other words, there were very few things that could escape from their hunt. One of them rushed directly at the scorpion tank, with his legs moving at a high speed in a nearly gliding posture, and the spear-shaped limbs tightened their joints and put them into the piston shell.

The Scorpion tank driver also seemed to realize the danger and began to maneuver wildly, but it didn't help.

The ruins of the ruins jumped up again, releasing a scream of infrasonic waves, as a real battle cry.

The scorpion tank suddenly moved sideways and rolled in the sand and dust, but was still bitten by the power spear.

It bit deeply, and with a roaring kiss with an activated energy field, pierced into a sensitive mechanism.

Sparks flew, instead of blood splashing, and the spear instantly penetrated the cockpit of the scorpion tank, and the huge force even forced the entire tank to stop.

As the anti-gravity system fails, the heavy machinery falls to the ground.

The driver of the Scorpion tank, a veteran Usvi soldier, stared into the mechanical killer's eyes.

Just after the thing pierced his breastplate with the crackling spear, the blood he spewed left a mark on the eyepiece of his helmet, and then he coughed up the blood so that his entire helmet was almost drowned himself, and even his blood left a mark on the bulbous golden sphere of the visual brake of the war machine.

Because he coughed blood on the thing's face, just after the thing pierced his breastplate with that crackling power spear.

Then it dragged him out of the cockpit, lifted him up high, and pierced him.

The machine was closer, and its eyepiece, which was similar to the insect compound eyes, was checking its prey, recording the mark of the world of Usvi's Ark, as if the killer was passing on what he found to his master in the distance.

This is something that Soshiyang did not expect. The server of the Extreme Relic can be directly connected to the server of Power Armor. I think the legion has brought them many times to fight in the past.

"Ahem - Iron Man..."

The spirit warrior endured the pain. He did not retreat and refused to let the pain devour him. He had seen this dangerous machine created by apes in the ancient library of the Ark World. At that time, these backward races were almost destroyed by the machinery they created.

But even so, they still dare to use it boldly, and it is indeed a race that does not have a memory.

But now, he is dead, and he knows it very well.
