Chapter 441: The top priority for a nation

At present, Zhiyao needs time, and the princes also lack time. Everyone wants to finish the things at hand quickly, and the competition is who can do it the fastest.

Because everyone is in a hurry, all the vassal states in the world seem to have suddenly entered a fast-paced era.

A long time ago..., no, it should be said that when Zhiyao took over the management of Zhishi, Zhishi had already entered a fast-paced era.

Princes? Let alone princes, even the Zhao family, Wei family, Han family and other families who have felt the pressure from the Zhi family early on, they also want to do whatever they want faster, but from ideas to management systems, and even hardware facilities, etc.

Everything I have been waiting for is not that I will get changes if I want to. In fact, I can only feel anxious, and the speed of doing things has never been so ideal.

In a more straightforward way, the same thing may take the Zhi family one day to complete, while other families may take four or five days or even longer. And this is the Han family who has been chasing the Zhi family for a long time.

As fast as the family is, the other vassal states will be doing things even slower.

Of course, Zhishi did not complete that kind of change instantly, it was inseparable from Zhiyao's persistent construction and arrangement of Zhishi.

If Zhiyao had spent thirty years and still couldn't gain some advantages, wouldn't his life have been in vain, and why would he be talking about bathing the land of Xia with the light of civilization?

A long time ago, almost a lifetime ago, when Zhi Yao was reading a novel, she read the sentence "If you don't rebel if you travel through time, a chrysanthemum is used to set an electric drill." No, it was "It is a crime for a time traveler not to lead the times."

In fact, both sentences are correct!

The time traveler knows the future, at least he knows the correct answer, and it is unreasonable not to do something. He does not necessarily have to be an emperor, but being an emperor will be safer, and he can do more things he wants to do, even if he keeps some "inventions"

"It's all a kind of progress for the times.

Of course Zhiyao wants to be emperor. If you want to have an ideal after becoming an emperor, it is indispensable to expand the territory and "invent" more things, including but not limited to creation, culture, and ideas.

There is just one thing. People who know the answer usually have the feeling that time is waiting for me, and they can't wait to do things, which makes them very impatient.

Zhiyao feels that she is very lucky to have felt family ties from Zhizhuo and Zhishen, and Zhiyao and Zhishen have influenced Zhiyao so much that they have been able to endure the situation for nearly thirty years.

It took thirty years to lay the foundation, which is perhaps rare among time travellers, right?

"Writing works will lay the foundation for the world's understanding of 'Dharma', and the most important thing is the progress of the medical system!" Zhiyao knew that the latter one was really needed to be realized more urgently.

Sufficient grain production will help fertility.

Medical conditions are not improving. People want to have children as long as they want to, but when encouraging childbearing, they should be more relaxed.

Of course, Zhiyao knew something about it. There was no trend of drowning babies at the moment, at least in the Jin country... or in other words, not in the Yuan country.

Today, Zhiyao finished her tour of the country and did not return to "Puyang" immediately. Instead, she came to the outskirts of "Huangfu" to say goodbye to me and his party.

"If we say goodbye today, we will never see you again." I looked in good spirits, and there was no rickets in the waist of my old body.

Zhiyao saluted and said, "Teacher Li, take care!"

It seems that what mission do I want to complete before I reach the end of my life?

After they are separated, there will really be no chance to see each other again.

Zhiyao asked Lao Tzu more than once what his health regimen was, and the answers he got each time were different. Generally speaking, he used the two words "self-discipline" to sum it up.

To what extent is self-discipline necessary? What time do you go to bed every day, what time do you wake up on time, what do you eat after waking up, what exercises do you do, and what do you avoid doing? There are strict restrictions on life rules and recipes.

Recipes are less important because everyone lacks different nutrients. The same set of recipes may not work for everyone. Some people may be healthy if they eat it, or it may be harmful to some people if they eat too much.

Generally speaking, it is better to have a regular work and rest schedule, plus spend more time in the sun and do more exercise.

After coming to her own understanding, Zhiyao remembered a saying often said by modern people: life lies in movement.

This exercise requires correct method and not excessive exercise.

Zhiyao made a lot of preparations for me, including a comfortable carriage, two hundred guards, and various daily necessities.

This time, I still chose to leave from Hangu and Guanxi. I didn’t bring any other books, but only the De Jing and Tao Jing.

Of course, Laozi's "De Jing" and "Dao Jing" were not widely circulated. There must be some in Zhishi, but not in other places. This makes Zhiyao a little strange.

Judging from the route chosen by Lao Tzu and the contents of the De Jing and Tao Jing, Zhiyao felt that she had seen something.

"I have an appointment with Yin Xi, so I won't delay any more." After saying this, I got into the car and left amidst the shouts of the driver.

It wasn't until the team disappeared around the corner of a certain forest that Zhiyao looked back.

"Shi Li was very upset about the prince's robbery of the collection room. He felt ashamed of the Zhou royal family. He spent his whole life integrating what he had learned and made up for his mistakes with the De Jing and Tao Jing." Zhiyao said.

Many people came to see me off, including Ran You, Zaiyu and other disciples of Confucius.

They are those who did not choose to leave the original country after the original country sent troops to attack the Lu State. They have always been loyal to their duties, but their presence is much less than before.

Who is Yin Xi? He is one of the ten tycoons in the pre-Qin world and a senior official of the Zhou royal family. He is currently serving as the guard general of Hangu Pass and will go to "Luoyi" to take up the post of general at any time.

Such a person made an appointment with me to meet at Hangu Pass, and his purpose can only be said to be very strong, which is why Zhiyao made the guess.

Judging from the original history, some of what I did was really meant to make up for the Zhou royal family.

In this version of history, Zhiyao had a lot of contact with Lao Tzu. During the exchange, it can be seen that Lao Tzu was really upset about the books in the collection room being swept away by the princes.

As for why I think that giving the Zhou royal family the "De Jing" and "The Tao Jing" can make up for it? Maybe it's because these two books are full of subtle words and great ideas.

That's true!

The De Jing and the Tao Jing are not very long, but contain a lot of content, ranging from management, economics to military opinions.

Later versions of the Tao Te Ching? That one has been eliminated and modified, and is within the scope of re-creation.

Zhiyao once used the Dharma Sutra to communicate with Lao Tzu.

After reading it, I didn’t have too many opinions, but he expressed his approval in public.

Given Lao Tzu's current social status, others may not think it's a big deal if he expresses his approval of the Dharma Sutra. It will be the same in future generations.

For a certain period of time, Confucius' disciples have been showing off that they studied with Laozi... or exchanged knowledge. The reason is of course that Confucius' Confucianism is not recognized by the mainstream, and they need to use Laozi to elevate Confucius's identity.

When did Confucius' disciples emphasize that they had studied with Laozi? In fact, it was during the Western Han Dynasty, when Huang-Lao theory was the "state religion" recognized by the Western Han Dynasty!

Later, Confucius's disciples began to play "touch porcelain", and the more they went too far, they suffered backlash.

Once, one of Confucius's disciples angered Queen Mother Dou, saying that Confucius' knowledge was much higher than that of Lao Tzu. Queen Mother Dou sent someone to throw him into a pig pen, and was almost eaten by the pigs.

Zaiyu whispered to Ran You: "When I go west, there are no benevolent people in the Central Plains."

Ran You nodded silently.

Central Plains? There are many countries in the Central Plains at present, and there are some recognized sages, but there are really no benevolent ones.

Who are the famous wise men?

Sun Wu and Sima Ranju definitely count, and most of their achievements were in the military field.

Gongshu Ban was also a wise man, and his reputation was not inferior to that of Sun Wu or Sima Rangju.

What's going on? The main reason is that the Public Transport Ban is very good at making tools, let alone military equipment. The key is that the tools produced are helpful for agricultural production.

Isn’t it important to increase grain production? In the eyes of many people, it is more important than anything else!

The disciples don't regard Gongshu Ban as a benefactor, mainly because Gongshu Ban is very accomplished in making military equipment, and they think Gongshu Ban is not "pure" enough, right?

Zhiyao did not stay at "Huangfu" for long, and did not have too much contact with Ran You, Zaiyu and other Confucius disciples.

It’s not that Zhiyao burned the bridge across the river, it’s simply that Confucius’s disciples’ current status in the Yuan Kingdom is very embarrassing.

First, a large number of disciples left their original country without saying goodbye or even fleeing.

Yuan Guo didn't want to do anything to these disciples. What was their purpose of making this gesture? It was just to embarrass Yuan Guo and smear him!

Then, Zigong went south, and he went to Yue to recommend himself as an official, and gained the attention of Yuejun Gou Jian.

I don’t know what happened in the Yue State. Zigong, who was originally expected to be the ruler of the Yue State, later escaped from the Yue State and went to the Song State to apply for an official position again. The Song State has not made any statement yet.

What is Zigong trying to do? His attitude of trying to make things difficult for Yuan Guo is so obvious!

However, Zigong's actions are consistent with the original history.

In the original history, Zigong spared no effort to fight against the Jin State and repeatedly traveled to various countries to lobby. He had records of serving as an official in the Wei State and the Song State, and even communicated frequently with some people in the Chu State.

With Zigong doing those things without concealment, the Yuan Kingdom was not completely blind or deaf, and did not respond too violently. In fact, the Yuan Kingdom's monarchs and ministers maintained great restraint.

In that case, Zhiyao did not drive away the other disciples, it can only be said that he did not lose his mind.

Although he is still willing to continue to appoint or even re-employ some disciples, who dares to say that Zhiyao does not have the courage to be a king?

"I heard that some of my disciples left?" Zhiyao asked.

Fu Liao replied: "This is why the Dharma Sutra was passed down to 'Huang Fu'."

Confucianists will naturally have trouble getting along with the "Fa".

What is the reason? The "ritual" followed by Confucian scholars is itself the rule followed by Ji Zhou, and "law" is also a rule. The two themselves are a life-and-death competition. Once "law" replaces "ritual", it becomes the only "rule".

standard".

For example, if someone learns a kind of knowledge, and the next second the knowledge they have learned is eliminated, and what they have learned becomes useless, can they not be rejected or even hated?

To put it crudely, "stealing someone's job is like killing an old mother." Who wouldn't jump at it?

Zhiyao's dissemination of the "Dharma Sutra" has not yet been fermented. Regardless of whether the world recognizes it or not, the sensation caused will definitely be huge.

Because there aren’t many schools of thought these days, there’s almost only one who can jump in, that is Confucianism.

So, Confucianism appeared earlier than Legalism? This question should not be asked. Confucianism existed at the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty. It is said that the first person to carry the tripod was Zhou Gongdan; Legalism also originated quite early.

The official title is Xia Guan, who is in charge of military affairs and military contributions, so "law" was linked to the army from the beginning.

Zhiyao founded a sect and wanted to become a leading figure in Legalism. He not only took advantage of being the king of a country, but once the Dharma Sutra came out, it would not necessarily be used by the princes as the law to be followed, but it would definitely be

Just pick out some military laws for managing the army, and Zhiyao doesn't have to worry about how to disseminate them.

After Zhiyao returned to "Puyang", the first person he received was the envoy from Qin.

Zhao Bolu was the envoy of Qin this time. When the two parties made eye contact, you could see the complexity in Zhao Bolu's eyes.

After greeting each other, Zhiyao was the first to speak and said: "Let's put aside the rest for now. Can the Qin State send a doctor? The best is Bian Que."

Rows of question marks suddenly appeared above Zhao Bolu's head, and he immediately blurted out and asked: "Is your Majesty sick?"

Looking for famous doctors from Qin is the favorite thing among all countries.

Why is there a saying of "contemporary Bian Que"?

In the beginning, Bian Que was a miracle doctor during the reign of the Yellow Emperor.

In history, there was not only one person who was regarded as a miracle doctor and named Bian Que. Before the Qin and Yue people, there was a legendary miracle doctor named Bian Que. Later, it became a title for a person with extremely superb medical skills.

Even in modern times, people often use "Bian Que is alive" to advertise.

Zhiyao really wanted to say: We are familiar with each other and don't make fun of being sick.

Zhao Bolu saw Zhiyao's face, calmed down and said, "I have no reason to refuse."

Right? Since Duke Mu of Qin, the State of Qin has been able to rely on famous doctors. It feels more face-saving and keeps in touch with the princes many times by relying on famous doctors.

Zhiyao thanked him first, but did not mention why he needed Qin's medical assistance. Instead, he said: "I heard that Qin also sent envoys to Chu, Yue?"

Zhao Bolu said nonchalantly: "Qin Yuan has no alliance."

The Qin State is not the younger brother of the Yuan State, so it does not need the permission of the Yuan State to do anything, right?

Zhiyao laughed "haha" twice, stood up and walked to Zhao Bolu's side, saying: "I haven't seen Bolu for many days, and the business is over today. The rest of the time is to reminisce about the past, not state affairs."

Why do we need Qin’s medical assistance? After thinking about it, Zhiyao realized clearly that not only Qin but also other princes would invite famous doctors to come to the original country to provide a stage for exchanges and to provide a good platform for the development of medical technology.

Contribute to progress.

Regarding the location, Zhiyao has already thought about it, and decided to locate it on the side of "Qufu" to add a positive luster to the already noisy "Qufu", so that some people will not be tempted to use force against the Lu State just to argue about whether the Yuan State should use force against the Lu State.

Beep beep” endlessly.

"Today's doctors won't reject the study of gynecology, right?" Zhiyao thought to herself?

Why should we study gynecology in particular? Zhiyao felt that the population of the land of Zhuxia was really too small, and after the change of dynasties, it would be unable to open up to the outside world!
