Chapter 28 Conversation Between Men

Not hearing any intention of continuing the transaction, Fragletta left with some regret.

The opera didn't start until about ten minutes. Peter didn't say anything, he just drank wine with the nobleman.

After three glasses of wine, Ferdinandov himself began to chatter endlessly.

It was nothing more than that when he was a child, his father was an earl, but later he became addicted to gambling and his family fell into decline. He inherited the title of earl, but had to live shamefully with common people in a neighborhood three kilometers away from the boulevard.

Peter smiled slightly.

The boulevard is a rare good road, straight and wide. Although it is paved with sand, because it is surrounded by wealthy nobles, everyone takes care of the road in front of the manor as if they are taking care of their mistress.

If there is a small pothole in the road in front of someone's house, it will undoubtedly be a great humiliation to the owner.

If this small hole is not filled and dealt with within a day, the rumor that this nobleman actually has no money will spread quickly.

The surrounding nobles will also consciously keep a distance from this noble.

"For the sake of you buying me a drink, I tell you that using money to seek excitement is just the lowest level. If...if you are willing to give me three rubles, I will teach you a more advanced way to get along with women...

…”

Ferdinandnov's eyes flickered and he could not hide the shame on his face even though he was a bit drunk.

Peter sighed inwardly, took out a gold coin from the sachet embroidered for him by Vorontsova and handed it over.

He could feel that this middle-aged man had reached the edge of life's embarrassment, and he was afraid that he dared to say these words only because he was drunk. After he sobered up, what awaited him was endless self-blame and regret.

Because this is no different than begging.

For a nobleman to beg, it is undoubtedly a denial and betrayal of the family's glory.

1/2 ruble is a silver coin, a kopeck is a copper coin, and 1 ruble is a gold coin. Seeing the leisurely noble boy in front of him handing him a gold coin, Ferdinandnov's heart trembled.

Even after drinking several times, he felt deeply humiliated.

What he wants to say is the true scripture, which in his opinion is definitely worth 3 rubles.

But the young man handed him a ruble. Ferdinandnov was very angry. He took it with shame, and his drunken eyes suddenly opened wide.

He took a breath of air, oh my god, this is actually Chervin!

And it’s so brand new, this nobleman must be super rich!

"Oh, thank you so much! But I don't have any extra rubles for you..."

Ferdinandnov said anxiously.

Peter smiled and said:

"It's yours, sir."

Ferdinandnov was excited. He had never seen such a generous person. He was grateful to God for giving him such good luck. At the same time, he was full of affection for this young man whose every move was full of the manners of a noble noble.

Twenty-five rubles per Chervin was enough for the boy to have a romantic affair with the landlady pretending to be an aristocratic lady for two nights, and he could still get back five rubles.

'Bah~ Flagleta is not worth 10 rubles at all!'

Ferdinandnov was so excited in his heart that he immediately kissed Peter's hand to express his most sincere gratitude.

Ferdinandov's move made Peter resist slightly, and Mirkovsky immediately pressed his long sword against Ferdinandov's body, letting the down-and-out noble understand that the young man in front of him did not like physical contact.

Ferdinandnov smiled awkwardly and began to teach Peter the scriptures:

"Thank you for your generosity. From now on, you will be blessed with good luck!"

First he blessed Peter, and then lowered his voice and said:

"I tell you, you can only experience physical pleasure when you spend money on a woman. This pleasure is short-lived. You may not understand it yet, but if you use your heart, you will get the highest and exciting enjoyment.

"

"Oh, this enjoyment is so passionate and unforgettable. The various moods of women will be shown to you, and you will be unable to extricate yourself from it. Even if you are painful, entangled, and impulsive, you are still the same.

The collision of souls, when you finally come together or have to be separated, your life will have an extra valuable asset."

Seeing that the corners of Peter's mouth were slightly raised and his expression was just indifferent, Ferdinandnov continued:

"Of course, you already have the prerequisites for all this. Through your generosity, you are obviously a wealthy noble. I guess you are not from Moscow and came to see His Majesty's enthronement some time ago."

Peter nodded slightly, and Ferdinandnov was even more certain. Unfortunately, he was too drunk at the time and missed His Majesty's enthronement ceremony. He just heard that Your Majesty and Catherine were truly a match made in heaven.

Ferdinandnov first expressed his admiration for the emperor, and then continued:

"You are a wealthy nobleman. May I ask what you plan to do in the future? A lawyer? A surgeon? A prayer priest? Or do you do nothing but inherit the glory of your ancestors?"

Peter smiled and said:

"I heard that lawyers are very rich, but I don't lack this. I am not interested in surgeons. I heard that diseases can be cured by bleeding. This is good."

"As for the praying priest, if there is a beautiful nun, I might consider it."

What Peter said made Ferdinandnov smile knowingly, and the two people suddenly became much closer.

Ferdinandnov said:

"But you don't do this or that. Are you going to start enjoying it at such a young age?"

Peter shook his head and said:

"It would be too shameful for the nobles to just inherit the glory of their ancestors and do nothing, and there would be nothing admirable to talk about at a party. Therefore, I want to become a writer or painter.

, the poet is not bad either.”

"Oh~"

Ferdinandnov could not help but exclaim in admiration:

"Do you also want to be a litterateur? With all due respect, you must read His Majesty's masterpieces. Even as a nobleman like me who is trapped among the common people, I gritted my teeth and bought a newspaper. His Majesty's Literature

The level is really amazing.”

Peter nodded and smiled:

"Yes, I also admit that His Majesty does have an unmatched level. If you are willing, I can give you a few newspapers, but let's continue your topic."

After drinking another glass of wine, Ferdinandov smiled mysteriously in his drunken state:

"We are not digressing. You don't know women. They may be able to refuse lawyers and surgeons, but they can hardly refuse the profession you have chosen."

"As a painter, if you are excellent, you can easily let them show any posture in your pen, and your quill can even draw on them. Not to mention if you choose a literary artist, if you are in the aristocracy

You have made a name for yourself, and endless invitations are waiting for you. All you have to do is take care of yourself. As for poets, who would refuse a romantic poet?"

Ferdinandnov went on to talk a lot about what he had experienced in Vienna, Venice, Pagava and other places.
