096 What is Your Master Doing?

Chu Mu and Bai Zixu are both authentic Kyoto people, and they should know about this kind of place.

Bai Zixu said that it was called Youshantang, which specialized in adopting orphans who had no relatives.

There are two places like this in Kyoto. One is run by the government and provides free care until the age of fourteen. If you leave at the age of fourteen, you can voluntarily leave, or the government can arrange for a helper.

It's just that the conditions of the government-run Youshantang are average, with enough food and clothing. Those who voluntarily stay will be assigned to work as handymen, and the men may be sent to serve as soldiers.

The other one was run by a mysterious businessman.

Speaking of conditions, the mysterious businessman's side is naturally better.

The cost of food and drink there was better, and the master taught them how to read and write, as well as some simple exercises to keep fit, so their life was quite comfortable.

But these are not completely free. Children need to make some repayments when they grow up, and the repayment money should be used in Youshantang.

Children there can live until they are fourteen years old.

After the age of fourteen, some were assigned to work as waiters, and some had other ideas. After applying to the manager and signing a repayment contract, they could make a living on their own.

Many families who cannot afford to raise their children will find a back door to send their children in, which is another kind of training.

Bai Liran understood and nodded, "Well, wait until he wakes up and ask him what he thinks."

Qian Lan seems to be a decisive person, even if she arranges it, he probably won't be obedient.

Where to go is his business, he still needs to make his own decision.

Tian Yuehe came back from buying vegetables, and left himself looking at the front. Bai Lianran and the others all went to the backyard to eat.

Chu Mu ate first and then came out to change for Tian Yuehe.

Bai Ranran felt a little sleepy after eating enough. She got up and stretched, thinking that it was time for Qianlan to wake up, so she filled some food and went to the ward where he was.

When Qianlan heard the movement, she opened her eyes suddenly and looked over guardedly.

When he saw it was Bai Lianran, he relaxed.

Bai Linran saw that he was awake and smiled kindly at him, "Although you don't have any fatal injuries, some of them are very serious. I have taken care of all the wounds for you. You can rest assured to recover here, Mr. Chu."

I'll change your dressing. I'm rarely here, so I'll come see you when I'm free."

When Qian Lan saw the rice in her hand and smelled the aroma of the vegetables, her unruffled eyes became a little emotional.

Bai Liran knew that he must be hungry, so she put the bowl on the cabinet next to her, walked over and helped him sit up, then came over and sat beside the bed with the meal.

She picked up a piece of meat and put it to his mouth. Seeing that he was just staring at her, she curved her mouth and smiled gently and kindly, "You dare to drink medicine but dare not eat food? If I wanted to harm you, I didn't save you just now.

You, you have already gone down to hide and seek with the little devil."

Qianlan reached out to take the bowl and chopsticks from her hand, and picked up the food in the bowl herself.

He ate a little hastily and swallowed in gulps. Bai Lianran looked worried that he was choking.

"Eat slowly, don't worry, I'll get you some water." As she spoke, she turned and left the ward.

Qianlan looked at her back, a hint of emotion flashed in her eyes as black as ink.

The emotion just flashed past, and he lowered his head again and anxiously picked up the food in the bowl.

When Bai Linran came over with tea, Qianlan stretched her neck so hard that she almost rolled her eyes.

She quickly stepped forward, patted his back, encouraged him, and handed the water to his mouth.

"Drink some water quickly."

Qian Lan quickly held the cup in her hand and took a sip of water, and then she felt relieved.

Bai Lanran saw him being choked, without any smile in her heart. She only felt sad, "Eat slowly, don't overeat. When you come to my place, you will be fed every day."

When she was young, she was like this too. She would eat until she vomited. As she gets older, her stomach won't get better.

In fact, even if she was not hit and killed by a car in modern times, her life would not be very good.

She was lucky enough to have escaped from that hellish place and came back to life here.

Qianlan's life is good, she met such a kind person.

His suffering ended the moment he met her.

Qianlan drank two large sips of water and suddenly felt less hungry, slowly eating the remaining rice in the bowl.

Bai Ranran stood nearby and looked at him, her eyes wandering, as if she saw the shadow of her childhood in him.

Taozi took the teacup in her hand, looked at the child on the bed with distress, and sighed with emotion, "It's so pitiful that he was beaten like this at such a young age. Those people are really not human."

Qianlan was indifferent to her words, handed the empty bowl to Bai Liran, and then lay down again.

He stared at the roof with his big eyes open, not knowing what he was thinking.

Taozi looked at him without saying a word or reacting. She felt that he might have been beaten stupid, and she felt even more distressed.

Such a big child should still act like a spoiled child around his parents.

Bai Ranran handed the bowl to Taozi, walked over to Qian Lan, and helped him pull the quilt up a little, "You can rest assured and take care of yourself here. I will come see you tomorrow."

After she finished speaking, she stood up and wanted to leave, when a scarred little hand pulled her sleeve.

She lowered her head and met the light blue, dark eyes.

He pursed his lips, as if he wanted to say something, and finally frowned, retracted his hand, and closed his eyes.

"Go to sleep. If you need anything, call Mr. Chu. He's very nice."

Bai Ranran pushed the strands of hair away from his face, smiled, got up and left the ward.

The arrogant little guy may be really strong, but it's a bit of an act.

She hadn't prepared yesterday's medicine yet, and she was feeling sleepy now. She had to go home and take a nap first, then get up and prepare the medicine.

That medicine is a new prescription, and it is a very interesting medicine. When the time comes, we will have to find a guinea pig to try the medicine.

Yun Shu hasn't come back yet, so he probably cleaned up the people completely, and then went to complain to Mo Shaohua.

Those bullies obviously do a lot of bad things on a daily basis, and they really need to be punished.

Although she is not the Holy Mother of God, she is still a good citizen who hates evil and hates evil.

Although she didn't know how Mo Shaohua would handle it, she wasn't in a hurry and would find out when he came over later.

She called Taozi and Bai Zixu and took them back home.

It was rare for Bai Zixu to have free time, so when he got home, he went back to his room to study.

Bai Lunran went to the main room to say hello to Mr. Jiang, then turned back to the room and lay down.

She threw off her shoes, pulled the quilt around her, yawned and fell asleep.

She thought pregnancy would cause serious side effects, but she didn't expect she would just become sleepy easily. When she was sleepy, she couldn't open her eyes, her mind was confused, and she just wanted to lie down and sleep.

But this reaction is much better than not being able to eat.

After she woke up, she remembered that the camellias were blooming in the front yard right now, so she went for a walk in the front yard to look at the flowers.

Taozi saw that she was wearing a thin coat, so she chased her and put a cloak on her.

The camellias are blooming just right, and the hibiscus branches are also blooming with flowers of various colors, which makes people feel comfortable.

Bai Ranran picked out a few that had not yet been opened, folded them, handed them to Tao Zi, and asked her to go back to her room later to find a vase to put them in.

The sun was just right, and the warm halo shrouded the white flowers. She bent down and looked at the blooming flowers, her fair and jade face was half hidden behind the flowers, and her amber eyes were bright, like a little flower demon.

Yun Shu walked in from the outside, looked at the white flowers among the flowers, and a charming smile appeared on the corner of her mouth, "The hibiscus is not as beautiful as the makeup, and the breeze from the water palace brings the fragrance of pearls and green flowers."

Hearing her words, Bai Linran raised her eyes and looked up at her, returning what she said last night, "Oh, it's incredible, the beauty Yun Shu can also recite poetry."

Yun Shu was amused by her and looked at her with fondness in her eyes, "Yes, yes, it's not as good as yours."

Bai Linran walked up to her, looked at her with a smile on her face, and asked, "What is your master doing?"

Yun Shu smiled and replied: "The first thing my master asked me when he saw me was, what is Ran'er doing?"

"Then what do you say?"

I don't know where this sentence touched Bai Liran, and it made her feel a little sweet in her heart.

Yun Shu replied: "I said you were acting bravely."

"Then what is your master doing?" Bai Liran folded a camellia and handed it to her, then asked again.

She suddenly missed Mo Shaohua. She didn't know whether she missed his handsome face or his warm embrace. She missed him after all.

"The master is at home, resting his body, drinking medicine and reading."

Yun Shu smiled and pinned the camellia to his ears, "He said he had dealt with the Minister of Household Affairs and the group of people who bullied you, and he came to see you. Don't worry."

"I'm not in a hurry, I still have my own things to do."

Bai Linran put her arms around Yun Shu's shoulders, called Tao Zi, and pulled Yun Shu back to the room.

Thinking of Mo Shaohua's handsome and beautiful appearance, Bai Lianran couldn't help lowering her head and laughing.

Falling in love turns out to be like this, as sweet as honey.

She was somewhat looking forward to seeing Mo Shaohua.
