0019 Violence theory

In the afternoon, Yan Lide came to Sanqing Temple to visit Master Chen Jingke. After a few pleasantries, he got to the point and asked about his requirements for the Taoist temple.

Chen Jingke took out the sketch he had already drawn: "The name of this Taoist temple is Zixiao Temple, the main hall is Zixiao Palace, and it is dedicated to God Haotian."

"Next to it are the Sanqing Hall, the Holy Mother (Nuwa) Hall, the Sage Hall, the Son-Songs Hall, the Wealth Hall, the Medicine King Hall, the Plague Hall, the Civil and Military Quxing Hall..."

Yan Lide was shocked at first, and then he was so frightened that he was covered in white hair and sweat. Not to mention so many weird gods, but the key point is what does it mean for your Taoist temple to worship God Haotian?

Haotian, that is the righteous god worshiped by the country. If you are so involved in Confucianism and Taoism, do you want to leave it alone? Have you asked the emperor's intention?

Don't let your head fall to the ground before the Taoist temple is completed by then. If you die, just die, but don't hurt me.

He wanted to leave the blueprint and run away, but thinking of Li Shimin's instructions and the empress's repeated warnings, he restrained his thoughts of running away.

But after Chen Jingke finished speaking, he left in a hurry, walked out of Sanqing Temple and went directly to Ganlu Hall with this design drawing in his hands.

This thing was so hot that he wouldn't even want to take a look at it if he couldn't help it. He handed it over to Li Shimin immediately, and leaving himself out was his only idea at this time.

As for Sun Simiao and Chen Jingke... they have nothing to do with him. They love each other as much as they like.

But to his surprise, Li Shimin was not angry after reading it, but ordered: "Just build according to this plan, and the temple will be completed within two months."

"Well." Yan Lide was full of doubts, but he didn't dare to ask any more questions. The emperor has approved it, so just work honestly. If you don't understand, don't ask.

After settling this matter, Li Shimin continued to handle government affairs. In the middle of the process, the eunuch Ren Feng sent a secret letter. He took it out, read it again, put it away again, and continued to handle official affairs.

It was not until dusk that all the memorials were corrected, then I picked up the secret letter and headed to the Li Zheng Hall.

After seeing Changsun Wugu, he started to laugh loudly and said: "Haha... Okay, okay, Guanyin, you have made a good nephew."

The eldest grandson Wugou knew that Chen Jingke must have done something or said something again, so he dismissed the palace people and asked: "Why is your Majesty like this?"

Li Shimin handed her the secret letter and said, "You will know after you read it."

Changsun Wugou took the letter and read it quickly, and was very surprised: "The merger of the three religions? This... he really has such ambitions?"

Li Shimin said: "I didn't expect it. I didn't expect it either. I can only say that you are a young nephew and you are very ambitious."

Changsun Wugou judged that Li Shimin was not angry, so he breathed a sigh of relief and said: "What kind of ambition, your Majesty, don't promote him."

"However, he is somewhat self-aware. He knows that His Majesty is as wise as the Qin Emperor and the Han Dynasty, and he relies on His Majesty's power to achieve anything."

This sentence touched Li Shimin's itch, and his face burst into laughter, but he said humbly: "The achievements of Emperor Qin and Han Wu are astonishing, how can I dare to compare with them?"

"However, the fusion of the three religions he proposed is very popular with me. As long as he really has this ability, it doesn't matter if I borrow his help."

He is not afraid that his subordinates are capable and ambitious, but he is afraid that he cannot figure out their desires. Before, he didn't know what Chen Jingke wanted, and he still had concerns, but now he is completely relieved.

Moreover, the merger of the three religions was also a great achievement for him as an emperor, and he was happy to see it succeed.

He had always compared himself to the Qin Emperor and the Han Dynasty, but he also knew that he had great deficiencies in the area of civil administration. Before, he didn't know where to start, but now he has a goal.

If you, the Emperor of Qin, have books, chariots, and tracks to unify weights and measures, and if you, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, only respect Confucianism, then I will create a fusion of the three religions.

He knew that the integration of the three religions could not be accomplished by shouting slogans. It must have a practical theoretical basis, and he had no way to solve this problem.

But he is the emperor, and he has a large group of literati under him. As long as he reveals his intention, there will be people to help him do it.

But he was not in a hurry to do so. He wanted to see how capable this little Taoist boy who suddenly appeared was and how far he could go on this road.

The key is that he was fed up with that group of nobles and wanted to introduce another force to stir up the water in the pond.

Fishing in troubled waters, is there anyone better than him?

Chen Jingke didn't know that his words had reached Li Shimin's ears. At this moment, he was thinking of ways to change the subsequent plot of Journey to the West.

If we simply regard Journey to the West as a fairy tale, it would be a waste of resources.

Only by occasionally inserting a little bit of his understanding of Taoism and tentatively throwing out some new viewpoints and violent arguments to test the outside world can the benefits be maximized.

For example, turning the "Tao Te Ching" into the "Tao Te Ching" is an attempt.

For two thousand years, people have always believed that the Tao Te Ching was Lao Tzu. It was not until the A and B copies of Lao Tzu were unearthed in Mawangdui that they knew this was not the case.

The real "Laozi" De Jing is in the front and Dao Jing is in the back. Not only that, the order of many chapters has also been adjusted.

Don't underestimate the problem of this order reversal. To use an inappropriate analogy, it is like 12345 becoming 52143, and the entire logic will be affected.

Since the order of these words in Laozi was reversed into the Tao Te Ching, no one has been able to understand Laozi's true meaning.

The closest to Lao Tzu's original intention was Wang Bi and Wang Fusi in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, but he was still misled by the order of the Tao Te Ching.

As for who had the great ability to turn "Laozi" into the "Tao Te Ching", it is no longer possible to test. We can only infer that it happened after Emperor Wen of Han Dynasty.

In addition, four lost articles have been sorted out from volumes A and B, allowing people to more fully understand the original meaning of "Laozi".

It can be said that the emergence of Mawangdui's "Laozi" A and B has a subversive impact on the Chinese philosophical world, especially on Taoist thought.

And Chen Jingke, who is familiar with the completed version of "Laozi", has such a sharp tool. It can be said that his understanding of "Laozi" surpasses everyone in the era.

But sometimes you don't win if you advance first, you have to be recognized by others. For people in this era, a completed version of "Laozi" is equivalent to a violent argument.

Unless Chen Jingke leads people to dig out Mawangdui, he will definitely be regarded as fallacy by mainstream scholars.

He really wanted to do this, not only wanted to dig Mawangdui, but also wanted to dig Sleeping Tiger Land, and also wanted to dig Sanxingdui... But now he could only think about it.

If the technology is not up to the mark, touching those things is a sinner of Chinese civilization.

What he has to do now is to first gain a high enough status, and then release the contents of the completed version of "Laozi" bit by bit.

He used small outrageous arguments one after another to gradually make people of this era accept his doctrine, and then followed the trend with the biggest outrageous arguments.

Journey to the West is just a small trial, and the De Dao Jing is only the first step. There will be many similar small discussions later.

Anyway, Journey to the West is, on the surface, an unpopular novel about gods and monsters. Even if there are some minor outrages in it, mainstream literati will at most just say it is nonsense, and most likely they will not take it seriously.

But the influence of the story Journey to the West has been confirmed in previous lives. The more people read it, there will always be some people who will be affected.

This chapter has been completed!
